Flaming Dead Man Kiki_669 Flaming Dead Man Kiki_669 Flaming Dead Man Kiki_669 She stood in a quiet and shocked silence. Then when she recovered from the shock she took a step forward so she could be by his side again and took back his hand. She looked up into those vampire fed eyes and said softly,"That's quite an interesting confession." She stood in front of him and took his other hand. "And you feel like that's going to be problem for us?" she asked him gently. He smiled, his hands holding hers firmly. "It might be," he admitted, his eyes and expression filled with a playful menace. She giggled and hugged him tightly. Then she added more seriously, "I have a feeling you'll be able to control it." But it was more of hope. She was falling for him, falling for him hard, but she didn't plan on letting him eat her, if it came to that. And she was praying that it wouldn't.He nodded, his smiling fading slightly and his brow furrowing as he did so. He then sighed and smiled again, bending slightly forward to drape his arms around her upper body loosly, "Thanks." "For what?" she whispered, sounding confused. The sun was slowly rising up over the horizon, the beams causing her skin to glitter slightly. He chuckled quietly, "For trusting me." He pulled from her, though kept his hands placed gently at the base of her neck, his fingertips resting near her spine. He looked at her, his only skin seeming to sparkle, his eyes, however, seeming more dull, slightly more red than they should have been. He smiled lightly, though, then removed his hands and slid them back into his pockets, turning only his head and eyes to gaze out over the water.
"I should probably get going," she said. "I'll need to hunt before going to school....and then probably do some homework." She wasn't at all worried about getting it done on time, it would little more than a few minutes to do the work for her classes. "You can come by later, well if you want to," she added. She gave him a small peck on the cheek and then quickly ran back to her house to get ready for school. In about five minutes she was sitting in her first period class, listening to a seemingly endless lecture about the history of Europe.

Emilian remained at the beach for most of the day, only returning to Raine's house when the sun began to reach the time of the end of the school day. He wanted to be there before she was, to meet her. He had made his way elsewhere, first, however, changing his clothing into a white button shirt, a very similiar pair of pants, and a small, silver chain that hung from his neck, mostly concealed by the collar of his shirt. He then headed back to the house and sat in a nearby, high tree to watch the grounds below. He wondered to himself how Raine had ever made it out of the maze on her own with a small chuckle.

Raine pulled up to her house without really realizing it. Her mind was on the ever growing collection of things from her travels, and where she was going to put it all. Most rooms in the house were still sitting empty, all except for the first floor. She groaned thinking about the boxes that were cluttering most of the house. More museum than house, actually, she though to herself, that place has more antiques than an egyptian tomb. In the same daze in which she found herself driving home, her hands were busy unlocking the door.

She thought about that. "A tree? I would've put up a tent, but that's just me," she teased. She opened up the lid on one of the boxes and began pulling out some kimono that looked like they could've come straight out of the Tang Dynasty. "Hmmm...where to put these..." she said, thinking aloud.

"Above the couch. In fact, I think this will be the Asian Room." She removed some swords and tapestries from the box and began envisioning where their places in the room would be. "You're a genius," she informed him, before setting out to take down the pictures of her pale friends and replacing them with the new objects.
