"Knew it. Wanna talk about it?" Ceramew asked before finally sitting down.
"...And that's how there's a hole in Ilex Forest." Aden said, mostly wrapping up his whole spiel.
It was at this point that Sol realized that his son really did have a way of coming across this stuff. Granted, he knew of the occurrences from his childhood, but most of those were subdued. Mostly. "I see. A lot has gone on, indeed. I can't say I'd have guessed that to have happened, but I guess not even Gold would've been alone on his journey... unusual as the whole series of events have been, perhaps it's a good thing."
"What do you mean by that?" He couldn't bring himself to mention that the Suicune encounters might've had a bigger meaning.
"Most journeys tend to be less eventful. That's not to say they aren't; far from it, in fact. But it's rare for circumstances like those come up. For you to be able to get through those, even if largely with Blizzard and Ryan, says a lot. You really have grown a lot."
"Uh, thanks..."
"So, I want to see the extent of it myself. Not tonight, you've had a rough enough day. But how about your old man serving as your opponent for once?"
Aden was too stunned to even speak, or rather, he was afraid to answer that one. Suddenly, Whitney didn't seem so bad...

And besides, no point in dragging it out, since I will end up seeing her again at least one more time beyond when Aden goes to fight Morty." Ryan explains to her. He didn't really feel like explaining it all, it would all lead to far more questions than he wanted to address at the moment.

One might argue that such a comment was off the wall. Others might argue this was a valid statement.

Others might argue this was a valid statement. "Not quite. But Suicune has been making his presence known to your brother. If you do know the legends, this is just the tip of a bad news iceberg that me and Blizz are going to have to whether with him. Morty says things have already to tip. He has asked me to keep an eye out and investigate on his behalf and report to him when I can." Ryan explains to her.

" Just for this reason. You are far too overprotective of your brother. He is not a helpless little boy anymore. You need to come to terms with that before you do something really foolish and shatter any sibling bond you might have with Aden." Ryan says in a steady tone at her, not raising his voice, but making sure his words were heard loud and clear.
