If there was ever a look of pure terror in her eyes, it'd be now. Forget anything that one ranger could've done, anything else that happened before, or any strange happenings aside. Getting Blizzard on his bad side was like knocking on death's door and asking for a spot of tea, when there hasn't been any for weeks and death's long since gone irate over it.
Not to mention that it reaffirmed what was already said and then some. But Freth's comment took out that fear for a moment, making her just stare at her. "...Really? I'd have expected that from someone else."

I then got off the door and looked back at Ceramew. "Now...you...Aden is going to need his space. That much goes without saying. That said, he will always need his immediate family, but not always hampering him down. He will need guidance every now and then in ways that I may not even be able to provide him. It's just as Sol said; you need to be that big sister when he needs it and, for that matter, no sooner. Okay?"

"Dun remind me..."
A bit of relief was had when Blizzard moved from the door, followed by a gulp when she realized that just about everyone here would have her head if she got like that again. "And got it. Just dun freeze me in place here, I won't make a good statue."

"And got it. Just dun freeze me in place here, I won't make a good statue." "......" I turned back towards Freth. "Do I REALLY give that kind of vibe where I'm compelled to freeze people and things where they stand?" "Well...yea, kinda...restrained as you are, you still put on that kind of intimidation factor without really trying." "...huh...go figure." "Doesn't help that physically, you're one of the strongest here and you have shown it on more than one occasion, and...frankly, when you slammed that door a minute ago, I'm surprised you didn't break it." Freth said to me. "I'm...restrained..." I said.

"I think I speak for quite a few when I say getting on your bad side's one of the worst ideas anyone can have." She spoke up. "Besides, physically, I'm kinda frail and wouldn't hold up in that kind of fight."

I went around Ceramew and opened up the door. "I planned on taking Aden out this evening for a bit of training and let his Pokemon cut loose a little." I said. "So you got a little time to talk to Aden before we leave out tonight. I suggest the two of you come to terms with each other." I said.

"So you got a little time to talk to Aden before we leave out tonight. I suggest the two of you come to terms with each other." I said. "Um, right..." Ceramew was awful quick about leaving, if only so she didn't get herself into more trouble here. Today hadn't exactly gone well, though she knew that was her own fault.

I watched her float off then made a sigh, closing the door and then getting back sitting in the bed with Freth. "Well, that was interesting."
"Ehhh..." I shook my head. "Ceramew needs to get over it. In fact, she should be thanking us really. If you and I hadn't got Aden off the ground...seesh, I would hate to know..."
"Yea, I know." Freth said. "She's trying to cope, though. Put it to herself that she needs to be there every step of the way for Aden only to suddenly come up and say 'That's not necessary, anymore.'"
"She'll live. Like I told her, Aden would have a place for her, no matter what. She is, essentially, his sister." I said.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Aden spoke up, still in the hallway. "Blizz has been teaching me how to sense chi and all. You know, for surroundings and all."
"There's something I'm familiar with." Sol's eyes darted to the side for a second. He could tell someone was coming, and he was fairly sure who it was. But if Aden's been learning... "Just how well is that coming along?"
"Kinda... well?" Fearing he just got himself into more of a task than he expected, he went into a deeper observation of what was around in the mansion. It didn't take him long before something was approaching. A mass of all sorts of chi, almost a shock to the senses, and it was coming this way in a hurry. In fact, he thought it might go in front. Reaching a hand out, he went to grab whatever was coming through.
This turned out to be Ceramew's tail, causing her to scream as she was suddenly pulled back, her floating ceasing at once and dangling from Aden's hand.
"...You saw her coming, didn't you?"
"Just seeing if you can back up your words."

"So, what are you going to do with Aden tonight that you mentioned. I mean, yea, get him working and get his Pokemon to relax, but what exactly." Freth asked.
"Oh just basic stuff. Chi, general physical exercise. Pushups...jogging...sit-ups...I'm not going to go absolute crazy...yet. I mean, he just got in that new suit." I said.
"...why do I have the feeling that it will be anyways? Basic stuff it may be, but in that stuff..."
"Well...true." I said. "Aden may be getting a good sleep tonight."

"Sis, are you alright? You've been acting really weird ever since I got here. Are you still mad that I left without telling you?" Aden said, still keeping his sister danging by his hand.
"Yeah, um, about that..."
"How many yelled at you?"
"I think you and Freth were the only ones that didn't."
"Look, will you please get over it? I'm not a little kid-"
"I know, I know... it's enough that daddy, Ryan and Blizz all got on me for that one. It's just... if you dun really need me anymore, then what?"
Sol didn't say anything this time. He'd leave this one to Aden, who was quick to speak up.
"Well, the rangers could use some help if you're wanting to help get that running, like I said when I was in Violet City. I'm sure the rest around here could use some help too, and for all I know, that incident with the rangers might not be the only thing that has everyone come together like we ended up. I think dad knows that too. I'm glad you've looked after me, I really am, but I've got this." Despite all of this, Aden sounded surprisingly calm. "I'll be fine, and Blizz and Ryan have my back too. But let me make one thing clear. There's not gonna be a time where I'll completely stop needing dad, or you for that matter."
"Right... um, one thing, though..."
"Yeah?"
"Let go, I dun like the blood trying to rush into my head."
While Aden was quick to comply, he ended up pulling his sister up into a hug, if only to reassure her for a second. He let go shortly after. "Now, are you fine, or do I need to smack some sense into you?"
"No no, that's fine."
"Good."
"Excuse me, I think I need something to settle my stomach..." Sol quipped.
"Oh come on...!" Well, Aden couldn't say his dad wasn't being normal. He was just as much of a smart alek as ever.

The time went on through the day and on into the evening hours. I stretched for a bit then went off through the mansion in the hunt for Aden. It was about time to do what I said I do, after all.

Ryan watches as the sun slowly dip below the treeline. It was late enough. Hopefully he would run into Morty directly. Ryan gets to his feet and heads over to the Gym. it was time to tell Morty what he had found out.

Through all the catching up, Aden hadn't even really thought about what Blizzard had wanted to do earlier. For that matter, the added weight from the new outfit hadn't bothered him quite as much as he'd thought. He was off outside by now, sitting on the steps and looking as the sun began to set.
