"In the corner is a Pokeball icon. Tap that and you should see a menu pop up. You want to tap Pokedex, then type in the Pokemon you're looking up. Natu. En, Ay, Tee, You."

Trigramatic "In the corner is a Pokeball icon. Tap that and you should see a menu pop up. You want to tap Pokedex, then type in the Pokemon you're looking up. Natu. En, Ay, Tee, You." He looked at the screen, and sure enough he saw the Pokeball and tapped on it just as Tails said. Then he was seeing more stuff that looked up. "...cal...calculator...no. Communi...cation...no. Poke...Pokedex, here it is." He said, selecting it. Then he just had to find Natu...he found that everything was numbered. Crazier still...it was a very long list. "So many Pokemon."

"Six hundred and forty-nine Pokemon, including myths," Tails said. "And let me tell you, a -lot- of myths are true."

Tails grinned wide, revealing his fangs. "And what's Blizz, chopped liver?"

Close, but not quite, Tails thought. Tristen would get this humor thing sooner or later. "But yeah. There's a lot of Pokemon. If you can learn to read all their names, you'll definitely be good to read anything else. Except for stuff like Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia."

That was a mouthful.

Tails was grinning wide. Ever since mastering this long word, he used it at any opportunity. "It's the fear of long words."

"It's not really a fear. It's a parody. A joke without being obvious it's told to be a joke," Tails explained. "But it is used to mess with people who don't read much because there are too many long words."

"But it is used to mess with people who don't read much because there are too many long words." "Oh." It finally dawned on Tristen that Tails was picking on him when he said that absurdly long word. He wasn't going to say much on it though. He knew he had a bit of an issue. Tristen then looked back down at the device and started to look at the hundreds of Pokemon listed, seeing if he can pick Natu out of the list, if anything. Though problem was...he was going a bit on the slow side. It wasn't occurring to him quite yet that how the professors of the world, when they number Pokemon of the National Dex, they usually keep the species together... "Char...meleon...Char...Charizard..."

Tails nodded as Tristen read on. Going through the national dex, the poor kid would have a lot of reading ahead. He could wait.

Trigramatic Tails nodded as Tristen read on. Going through the national dex, the poor kid would have a lot of reading ahead. He could wait. He kept reading on...made it to roughly the 30th Pokemon...until it started being tiring to stand. The only soft thing? The Muk. This was apparently inevitable unless he wanted to leave with Tails's SNAG to another part of the building. He walked over and started to sit down, up against Muk. He really was that comfy. "He won't mind, will he?" Tristen asked.

Muk's bulky hand was somehow ginger as it pat Tristen on the head.
"I don't think he minds at all. He won't stop you if you get yourself too deep so be a little careful or you'll end up like I did," Tails said.
