Like Gundam Vs. Evangelion or something. Kind of like a Lord of the Rings plotline, except with robots. And aliens.
Although a Gundam Royale would also be impressive.

Eh, the OAVs are worth watching.
Especially End of Evangelion, which they redid the ending to the series. Its no longer just a psychological thing, but full eva-on-eva combat. Of course, for macrophiles there's a giant Rei as well, but its worth watching. Along with Death and Rebirth.. the new OAV might be good too, but I think a live action movie woudl be cooler.

I disliked Eva for the same reason I disliked Ninja: ressurection.
Too many Christian theological references.

Well duh. Its definately christian. But at least the one thing I found intriguing is despite all the references, the aspect of religeon itself is almost never touched upon.
Plus, you have to see Askua get choked to death by shinji.
