Ariel the little mermaid has met her ultimate challenge...
Having to attempt to have her normal fairytale adventure while a fleet of company-owned oil tankers have massive spills in her ocean. And no, Captain Planet can't save the day. His sorry a** was obliterated when Wheeler was shot by some random thug in NYC and pawned the ring, which ended up in the hands of some guy who was on a hike and accidentally fell into a volcano, the ring melting in the lava.
Also, Smokey the Bear can't prevent forest fires anymore. He was shot, being mistaken for a wild bear about to attack a family and swipe their pic-a-nic basket.
