Emily contently skips along to the coffee shop. "I'm glad you came even though I'm still just a stranger." She walks into the shop and lightly tugs him to a table after ordering herself some vegi soup. "So why don't you eat anyways? If you don't mind me asking."

Drac stutters and tries to think of something but decides to be truthful, finally. "Well, my dear sister died from eating... And i've lost several other family members. I can now tell when foods been poisoned from a mile away." i smile.

Emily plops herself down in a chair. "Oh I'm so sorry about your sister. I can't really know how it feels to lose a sibling, but I'm sorry for your loss." She gives him a concerned look. "Ummm but what does that have to do with not eatting? I mean you have to eat to live. If you don't mind me asking."

crap! think of something... "Uhm, Emily. I'm very sorry but this whole subject is just very personal. Do you mind if i change the subject?" Dracerdis feels bad for not answering Emily but knows he cannot answer for everyone's self-betterment.

"Oh gosh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be to personal. I guess my curiousity got the best of you." She smiled at him. "Of course we can change the subject. Everyone has things they would rather not talk about. So why did you diecide to move here? It isn't exactly the center of things happening." She looked at him full of curiousity.

"Wow you desire something so large. I only wish for freedom. Love would be something of a blessing instead of something I seek, but you picked a weird place to find it. I guess everyone has their opinions."
She looks eagerly at him. "You have? How wonderful! Who is it!?" Then she smirks. "I saw you with Sonia. You have the hots for her don't you?" She giggles as a waiter appears with her soup.

Emily blushed deep red. "Me?? I-I am flattered, but how? We just met like....5 minutes ago. I-I am sorry. I not really goo..." She looked down feeling ackward. Then silently ate her soup still deep red.

maybe she's right... Maybe it's too early to like anyone... or could this be what some call "Love at first sight?" Either way, i think she prefers to eat her soup without another word... he watches Emily eat but refuses to so much as open his mouth

Emily hated the ackwardness, but she didn't know what to say. No one had ever said such a thing to her. She was shocked into silence. "You worthless peice of trash." She flitched at the suddened flashback, and hoped Dracerdis took it as the soup just being too hot.

Dracerdis sighs "My apologies, madame. Please forgive my ignorance." he rises from the table, pays the waiter as well as tips him and walk out of the shop and walk along the narrow sidewalk...

Emily watched him go. 'I did something wrong...again. Why do I keep messing up. A guy just told me he likes me and I did this...Stupid, stupid, stupid.' She thought getting up and leaving the shop. The earlier happiness was gone. She sighed to herself and started to walk home, feeling alone.

Dracerdis' voice echoes in her head, as if he is speaking telepathically. I do like you. Nothing can deny that. I do not think you're stupid. When you feel you would enjoy my company, please do tell me so. I'd be more than happy to spend more time with you
