Blizzard120 The electrical surge went on to sweep Scizor, and once again, he felt the grip of paralysis take hold virtually immediately. He wasn't able to perform another dance like that. "......" What in the world is this guy up to. He's talking a big game, where is it already? "And finally, since I'm sure that standing ovation has worn off...Haze." This Royal Guard was playing this battle like a flute so far, while he hasn't really did anything to harm Scizor any he was certainly doing a lot of setting up, but why? "Amau!" Cried Amaura as its flaps turned black and it spewed from its mouth a thick black haze which quickly filled the room. Anyone who breathed in the haze would find that anything they had previously done to power themselves up was all for naught.

Why not just go ahead and do whatever damage while Scizor was stuck in Swords Dance? Hail has been putting a pounding on him. Was that a risk he was willing to take? All in all, he's done literally nothing but waste everyone's time who is involved. No matter, I had to jump on this opportunity if I could. "Zor...Scizor Sci!!!" Scizor exclaimed. "Back to normal, Scizor?" I spoke up. "SCI!" No more encore performances now, at the very least. It felt fine enough for the second to actually do something. "Metal Claw!" I shouted. Scizor rushed in, claws glowing fierce. It rushed for the Pokemon and came down as hard as it could.

The Royal Guard ordered. Seconds before the Metal Claw hit, Amaura would throw up a blue rectangle of energy in front of its self in an attempt to cushion the blow. The Metal Claw would smash right into the Barrier, shattering it, and then smack Amaura in the head which caused it to stumble. Upon impact however the stone around its neck gave off a faint glow, was it powering up its defenses? Sure seemed like that since the Amaura's chi felt strong as ever and it looked ready to fight for a long while longer despite taking a super effective hit, not even the Barrier alone should have taken that much damage from the overall hit.

Bah, that didn't look like it did hardly any damage at all! Even with that barrier, that was ridiculous. If it wasn't obvious enough by just sending out a unevolved Pokemon out, that pretty much makes it set in stone. An Evolite. This was going to be a war of attrition, for sure. I don't want to try using Swords Dance, though, if not for him getting Scizor trapped in Encore again, but perhaps on the merits of Paralysis doing its number. He's got this Pokemon set up, perhaps not to do any damage, but it can take it like a fiend, leaving it all for the hailstorm to constantly chip away into that armor. The hailstorm is bound to die eventually, but even then, is he banking on such a notion to just let the hailstorm do all the damage? No one is that stupid, are they? Well then again, we do have the likes of Rockets, Aquas, and Magmas for instance... "Can you do another Metal Claw, Scizor?" It wanted to, but it took a bit just trying to do that last one. Paralysis was doing another number again...

The hail would continue to beat down on Scizor, but Blizzard and the guard would both take note that it was starting to die down a bit. "Time to keep the storm going, another Hail." Like before, Amaura would cry out loud and summon the storm, the hail starting back up to full strength again. Blizzard's nagging feeling that something was wrong here was justified, if only he knew. Perhaps this Royal Guard intended to waste Blizzard's time so much that the Elite Four member would leave before he made it inside. The hybrid needed to realize this and do something quick to prevent this outcome.

He really is out to get the Hail to do all of this Pokemon's damage, in this ungodly slow process. At this rate, the Elite will be set to- ...... ...this b*****d...that's his game. By extension, I'm guessing that this elite has disdain for Hybrids just as this guard does. Apparently this guard is actually being paid to actually think. As the hailstorm comes down once more, I looked over towards Scizor, he was working movement in his joints again. Maybe he can move again. "Scizor, you good?" "Sci-zor..." A maybe. I looked towards the door, leading to the tea room off to the side of the makeshift battlefield. "Screw this noise...Scizor, Reversal!" I shouted. True to my style of counter-attack tactics, Scizor rushed in as fast as it could, claws together then swung hard with some hefty force. Batter up.

All he could do was look on in horror as his tiny dinosaur was smacked off the ground and thrown into a nearby wall with enough force to embed the Pokemon into it. The Pokemon was designed to take abuse for the long haul but there was one thing it couldn't endure, a good strong Fighting move. "Crap! There goes the bonus!" He shouted angry as he recalled his Pokemon. "Whatever, Comebuy isn't paying me enough to hang out with a freak like you. Go on in, I don't care." He insisted as he stepped to the side.

"I'm glad you finally see it my way..." I said. Though with all said, I essentially lost two of my heavy hitters here. Scizor wouldn't be good to take on another fight with him still being paralyzed, and Telia is out of commission because of that blasted Talonflame. That only left Zangoose, Weavile, Glaceon, and Porygon-Z...I really am going to have to play it really safe for the next fight... "Thanks Scizor...return." I said, recalling the Pokemon back to his ball. I then stepped inside, making my way through the doors into the tea room.

"And you see, sir Wikstrom, his majesty would-" An elderly man (though surprisingly with few wrinkles) heard the door open and quickly spun his head around to face the hybrid that had entered, a look of anger and disgust on his face. Blizzard could tell by this man's looks that this was without a doubt the elder Comebuy. He looked kind of old to be Comebuy Jr's father, even with his relatively smooth skin. Money is a good preservative. Comebuy Sr. was one of Blizzard's side targets, if only to find out what Comebuy Jr. pulled against him in their last battle, but his main target was also in this room and thus his attention would be drawn towards him. "Well met, stranger." A man clad in armor sat across from Comebuy Sr. at a small table, tea cup in his gauntlet covered had. Looking directly at the man was a task in its own as his armor was so well polished that the smallest amount of light seemed to bounce off of it. You could even see your reflection in it. Blizzard probably wouldn't even have to have heard Comebuy Sr. call this man 'Wikstrom' to know who this was, even if he had a picture of him. Wikstrom had a proverbial aura of power, honor, and chivalry to him. His presence was impossible to ignore, he was a man of greatness and nothing less. "Ahem, we are in a meeting and sir Wikstrom here is pressed for time. Do you mind?" Comebuy Sr. said to Blizzard, noise crinkled up in anger, as if he smelled something putrid.

Now it's just the matter of getting this man to talk to me. "Afternoon, Sir Wikstrom. Friends call me Blizzard. I'm the apprentice of the Mahogany Town Gym in the Jhoto region. I'm here on a bit of a leisurely excursion, which I wouldn't mind a battle with you at one point before leaving. With all said however, my vacation has been...a bit on the rough side, which is particularly the reason why I'm here right now..." I said, turning to Comebuy Sr. "So, Comebuy Sr., I presume..." I said, crossing my arms. "Is it in the Comebuy repertoire to not use their own strength to win their duels? I exposed Junior cheating earlier this morning, using some sort of gem that he hung up on the ceiling to give his Tyrantrum an edge. Despite it, the moron still couldn't beat me. However, he did drop your name, stating that you were the one that put him up for a rematch in the first place, so I'm here to find out what is the big idea."

"A battle you say?" Wikstrom spoke rather softly, or perhaps his voice was just drowned out by Comebuy Sr.'s. "How dare you imply a proud Comebuy would cheat! Why I never." Comebuy shouted as he slammed a hand down on the table. "Mister Comebuy, you are being rather rude to your guest, both of us." Wikstrom said in a calm voice. "Now then, did you give your grandson an item to cheat with?" The Elite Four member asked.
"Sir Wikstrom, you can't possibly-" Comebuy Sr. started to speak but Wikstrom was now out of his seat and towering over the elderly man, his 'aura' of power intense, this was a man that could make lesser men cower before him just by looking at him. "Y-yes sir." Comebuy Sr. admitted. "With what? Do not speak lies, for you know I will find out." Wikstrom demanded.
"It was a strange gem some my workers found while breaking land for our first hotel when I was a young upstart. I kept it for years and had it examined by top geologists and yet no one could figure out exactly what it was. A mister Stone said that it had the characteristics of a Rock Gem, a Hard Stone, and a Smooth Stone all in perfect harmony. He consider it to be like a Super Rock Gem that could empower Rock type Pokemon greatly. It was as if it was a piece of Rock type incarnate." He explained. Rock type incarnate? He can't mean...can he?
"You disgust me, Comebuy. His majesty will not even consider your proposal for I won't deliver it to him. And without my seal of approval he won't even catch wind of it, I assure you." Wikstrom said, disgusted. The knight would turn to walk out of the room and stop to talk to Blizzard along the way. "We may talk more on the roof. I'll let the guards know I invited you. Meet me there." He simply said before leaving.
Once Wikstrom left, Comebuy Sr. would talk again. "You have no idea the enemy you had made here, half-breed. I will see to it that you fall, and fall hard. This is far from over." He hissed.

One that seems to even put out even greater than say a Hard Stone? That's not possible...unless...maybe one of the fabled plates that once belonged to the legendary Arceus? Did he actually find one of those? I wouldn't have imagined such a thing to be so frail though. It couldn't be, could it? Maybe an offshoot? I don't know...still though, cat's out of the bag now. Two Comebuys shamed. I'm apparently on a roll. I then went on to watch the remainder of the exchange between the two, almost feeling a bit satisfied that I put yet another fool in his place. I watched the Elite then get up and take his leave after his invite to the roof. "Yes, Sir Wikstrom..." I said, looking back for a second. Once he left, I looked back towards Comebuy. "Yea yea yea, hellfire and brimstone and all that mess, I've heard it before from a dozen others before you within the past day and a half that I have been here." I said. "Really though, its you who wanted to be the enemy...I just wanted to do a few battles. Funny how the oldest of people can be the most childish at the same time." I then turned and left the stuck-up noble to his own devices.

"Sir Blizzard, wait!" Lavern shouted to Blizzard before he passed through the two double doors guarded by twin Royal Guards, the very door that led to the end of his journey here. "I met Lord Wikstrom, how exciting that was!" She cheered, almost forgetting why she stopped him. "Oh! Once he found out I was your maid he specifically asked me to heal your Pokemon. I rushed off to get all the needed medicine to do so. So, if you don't mind..."
Once Lavern was done she would wave Blizzard off through the double doors, her parting words were that of encouragement. Blizzard would soon arrive on the roof and would be greeted to a most beautiful battlefield. The field its self seemed to be made of ebony and ivory with gold and silver accents. The field its self had a yin-yang theme to it for each opposing side and stylized pictures of Kalos's opposing legendary were drawn with silver and gold on opposing sides. It was a breathtaking field, and appeared to be reserved for only the most important matches.
"You have the eyes of a warrior." Wikstrom said to Blizzard from the other side of the field. "Warrior's only have one method of communication, to really convey their feelings, and that is through battle. A warrior needs no words, do they? Let us battle, and whatever you desire from me will come afterwards. If it's a favor then consider it fulfilled if you defeat me. And I promise, you can expect no tricks from me."
Wikstrom was living up to his reputation, a true warrior who knows only one thing, battle. Without another word the knight unleashed his first Pokemon onto the field, a rather strange Pokemon that looked like a floating key chain complete with dangling keys. "Klefki!" It chimed. "Six on six, give me everything you got."

Upon leaving the room, leaving Comebuy to wallow in his own ignorance, I walked off, trying to find my way around to the roof. I'm actually a bit surprised that an Elite, especially one of stature like this, was so accepting of someone such as myself. I'm left to wonder though what was going on...sure it was all fine and dandy that I exposed a cheat amongst a cheat, but seriously? I guess I shouldn't let this go to waste, let alone question it too much. I am getting what I came for...I just got to take out this knight and get what I need. I did have two things in mind, the main thing is my sole objective of coming here in the first place...
I was stopped eventually, seeing Lavern once again. Apparently she was overwhelmed just by simply being in the Elite's presence. I guess since I've been around Elites myself, I didn't really let it phase me. Such a thing was a extreme rarity for her though...I guess I could see why she could get excited. After having my Pokemon tended to, I gave my thanks once more, then started my way off for the roof.
I eventually made my way up, taking a look at the scenery. It was a battlefield to behold; high up on a highly decorated roof, with the sky the limits, and the scenic backdrop to behold. This was a place to do battle alright. I listened to Wikstrom's words, giving a nod. So...six on six...he really means business. When I watched him release the first one, I looked on, a bit intrigued. Wait a second...didn't one of the Snagems have one of these? It was another fairy type...also a steel type if I recall. I'm not exactly sure what it can possibly do either, which doesn't help my cause. Furthermore, I had nothing that could really get under that thing's skin in a hurry. One of those times where I wish I did bring Typhlosion with me...
I took a deep breath. I had to make this fight count somehow. I was already at a disadvantage and I didn't want to use my proverbial 'aces' right from the get-go. "Go! Telia!" I shouted, tossing out the Pokeball. From it, in a flash of light, Telia was out.
"Garde-voir!" The Pokemon spoke.
"Get ready, Telia." I said. I knew that I was not going to be looked at right after this. With three Pokemon weak to any possible steel attacks, and one weak to Fairy in particular, I had to play it real cautious, almost similar to that Flare grunt earlier. "Telia, Calm Mind!" I shouted.
Telia started to focus, bolstering its power. Anything at this point could help...

"Klefki, for our honor, use Spikes!" Wikstrom bellowed, hand extended outward. The tiny key chain Pokemon would let out a high pitched chime as it began to rattle its keys, silver spikes flying out from its body and scattering all across the battlefield. Looks like Wikstrom was in this for the long haul.
