Nelowulf Cale Darksun Darkened Angel He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past. - Kane, Brotherhood of Nod Not 100% sure I have the exact words right. He who slays a Monster is always a man. -Alucard, Royal Order of Protestant Knights So what does that make Ferno? Because he desired the downfall of the sith... But who was he using as his tool to do so? Link was Ferno's unknowing pawn, and he was a Man. It was through Link that Ferno would have brought the Sith Low, in a manner similar to how Darth Bane's knowledge of the Thought Bomb destroyed the Sith of old. Indirectly he would be responsible for Link's actions. But Ferno would not be the one to deal the killing blow. He would need Link to slay the head of the new Sith.

Only for visible reasons, however. By no means did he lack the skill, in some ways, he had far more skill, since he managed to pretty much convince his enemy to do the deed for him.
But like maladi, he had the same weakness of plotting for the sake of plotting.

But like maladi, he had the same weakness of plotting for the sake of plotting. No one is saying that he lacked the skill. He probably could pull it off. But It would be a Gamble that I don't think Ferno would want to take. Thats why he used Link. And at any rate, Alucard's statement might be more of an observation than a law.

Most observations are made on viewed circumstances, which can easily be called laws though narrow results.
But it throws a kink into the idea, because Ferno would be both.. like a mutant... like a Centar thing...

Apparently what jacen was shooting for was Ben's wrath. Luke's Wrath would be a bonus.

he already beat the snot out of ben by erasing his memory. That's like picking on a three-year-old.
I still want to see Han get pissed off at his son and dish out a good ol' fashioned corellian spankin'.
