A nod, and Tails stepped out of the tub on his own. This time Tristen might realize the air was uncomfortably hot, but only as Tails passed. He was dry already. "If he falls, I'll just carry him to bed."

Trigramatic A nod, and Tails stepped out of the tub on his own. This time Tristen might realize the air was uncomfortably hot, but only as Tails passed. He was dry already. "If he falls, I'll just carry him to bed." Tristen perked up then looked back. Tails was exerting a lot of heat again. He wasn't going to say much though for the moment. Tristen walked off to the bedroom, bundled in his towel, rubbing his eyes. "That tub felt real good..." He said

"If you think the tub was good, imagine how it felt one day Blizz took me to a volcano when I was sick," Tails said. "Blizz and Typhlosion made sure I didn't flow off anywhere, and the day after, I ate some of Typhlosion's chili when we came back and I think I felt perfect."
He slowed as he came to a realization. "I should ask him if he could make some more."

He shook his head in disbelief, remembering that. "It was like if I ate an entire field full of Spleon berries."

"Easily," Tails answered. "Be a fire type. Our digestive tracts have adapted to highly acidic food. Ever notice that most of us are extreme carnivores?"

"Oh..." He made his way into the room and then went to the bed. He remembered that he wasn't supposed to go to sleep yet, so he leaned up against the bed at the moment. It was not long until after I finally made my way in with Tails's and Tristen's clothes. "Alright Tristen..." I said, separating his clothes from Tails's. "Get dressed...you can leave your shoes off for the moment though since you're about to go take a nap." "I got to go to sleep in this, too?" He said. "Yep." I said. "You'll be fine." I sat Tristen's clothes and Tails's clothes apart from each other for them both to get. "I did the same thing to Tails, too, you know."

Poor Tristen, Tails thought. He took his clothes, sat down and dressed. He did not stop thinking for a way Tristen could eventually relax outside taking a toaster to the bathtub one day. There had to be a less morbid way. "Yeah. And I was a nudist back then. Imagine how I complained."

There had to be a less morbid way. "Yeah. And I was a nudist back then. Imagine how I complained." Tristen looked over towards Tristen then gave a bit of a sigh. He reached over and one by one, wearily put on the clothes, all except his slippers. Most of the seventy pounds would eventually be back on. "Alright Tristen, get some rest, alright?" I asked. Tristen looked over then hopped up on the bed, though that was a bit of a struggle, but once he mostly got on the bed, he crawled his way over and his face planted in his pillow. This pillow felt gooooood...

"Careful sleeping like that," Tails reminded. "You don't wanna suffocate yourself. Even if it feels good."
He said this without thinking. He, at least, did not think it strange that he should look out for the kid.

He, at least, did not think it strange that he should look out for the kid. Tristen turned a bit, so he wouldn't suffocate like Tails said he possibly could. "If you want to take a break also, Tails, feel free. You seem to have done quite a bit for Tristen, today." I said, rubbing Tails around the ears for a brief second. "Anyways, rest easy, Tristen. Alright?" I then asked. With a yawn, Tristen sighed out "Okay..." I then made my way out of the room.

With nothing else to do, Tails thought why not? and lay back in bed. He didn't cover up, but for his feet. After the bath, he was warm enough. "Night, Tristen," he said. "Well. You know what I mean."

"Good n...ight..." He said as he drifted off back to sleep.
I looked back for a second, and shook my head. Cute. Very cute. I closed the door behind me and made my way off for the main part of the HQ. With a letter sent, and Tristen's training well on its way, I went off to see if I could find something else. We still had things to finish before we made our way to deal with Cipher once again.

While the other Snagems did more heroic things, a more sensible hybrid stayed at home where it was less likely he would be gutted if either side glanced at him the wrong way. Ship, the adolescent Zorua hybrid, paced about the halls, gazing over his SNAG. With this, he could track their movements. Sub's movements. He could have been a scout, maybe, but things had gotten too hairy.
Maybe next time, if there was a next time for this vigilante group, he might have the tools necessary for survival on the battlefield.

"Ship...right? What are you doing here?" I asked curiously.

Ship's ears perked, and he looked up from the SNAG. "Ah. Yes. You are Blizzard, right?" he said. "I'm sure you've seen those death defying acts which remind the viewers that they're not for the faint of heart? Your bouts with Cipher are those acts, and I am very faint of heart."
