Generally a fun and happy person to be around, and often quite social... tendencies to have random spurts of anti-social activities, and has frequent mood swings for stupid, or unknown reasons... when provoked, goes into the bedroom and lies down in her mass of pandas on the bed, usually snugged up next to her lady friend <3
PET PEEVES: People who lie, a lot. People who steal from me. People who leave their gum in gross places. Sun glaring in my eye balls. Our small 29 gallon aquarium. Spending time on-line. Love. Truth. Honesty. Creativity. Pen pals. Not being poor.
DISLIKES: Liars/Lies. Stealing. Animal Cruelty. Peanuts/Peanut Butter (unless it's mixed well with chocolate). Miracle Whip. Stupid tourist pedestrians who always try to start a fight with my girlfriend and I. The smell of fish. Spiders. Large bugs in general. Summertime (because of the heat). Being poor. Not having a job. My back/health problems. Arguing over stupid s**t.
REASON FOR JOINING: I thought that this would be a great Guild to start off with on Gaia, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys smile

NAME: Lord Sock, supreme bringer of Torment and Detergent (or, some mortals call me Kirsten...)
AGE: 15
APPEARANCE: ehh... fat. Hair is dark, fairly long and always tied back. About middle height (5'7, 5'8 on good days) and... a sort of tan/burned color on my arms and face. Too much errand-running on a bike during the day >.<
FAV. BANDS: A few would be... Virgin Prunes, Killing Joke, little bit of Christian Death, bit of The Bauhaus and Tones on Tail, Sisters of Mercy, The Damned, bit of Jack Off Jill (though they've got considerable connections to Marylin Manson >.>), Switchblade Symphony though their lead singer annoys me, The Last Dance, The Cruxshadows, Voltaire, 69 Eyes, Macbeth, Tiamat, Type O Negative, Malice Mizer and all solo projects decended from it, Luna Sea, a bit of Sponge/Crud, and bit of those less desireable groups like Slipknot, Marylin Manson, Evanescence and such when my brain is working at about 20% capacity.
HOBBIES / INTERESTS: Reading, though being the scatterbrained zombie I am, I tend to be reading 5-6 books at any given time, History and it's subtle lessons, Choir though I can't read music in the slightest xd , Lurking, a bit of Photography, Psychology, Theatre and stage production, Watching political Debates and related programs, organizing things, and probably a lot of other things I can't remember at this time...
PERSONALITY: In a word: Inept. I don't speak very clearly and tend to be very indirect. because I "trip" over words, especially coming back from focusing on something like reading, writing or some other task, and because my first impulse when I don't understand or didn't hear someone clearly is to be very sarcastic or vauge, I come off as antisocial. So, most of my interaction with people is either very passing or businesslike. I've got quite the sense of humor when I'm around people who I don't think are morons, though. Really, I think if people pay attention to what I say, almost everything can be seen as a joke. I love memes, by the way. Can't fight 'em, so I might as well laugh like a drunk when one's slipped into the perfect situation, ne?
SEXUALITY: ehm... the sum is 52? Asexual at this point.
RELIGION/PHILOSOPHY: Atheist. Pessimistic though still rather humanitarian for reasons I understand about as well as Advanced Calculus.
PET PEEVES: Bad grammar or spelling that is intentionally simplified, Trolling really gets on my nerves unless executed flawlessly, arrogance, and I hate to be stereotypical and say "posers", but I've had people who try to sound like they have some idea of what music I listen to and end up looking twice as stupid as if they just stood there with their mouth agape.
LIKES: Walking at night, sleeping in, solitude, teh intrawebz, when my mind is somewhat lucid which is rare these days, Irony, and instances when something goes wrong and it's not my fault.
DISLIKES: Waking up early, driving, the headaches and neckaches that have been coming and going since I was small, competitiveness, people who are confrontational for better or for worse, being made to do things, and my 'curse of the thread-murderer.'
STRANGE THING: I have a bit of an oral fixation. I'm usually chewing on something, be it gum, a string of uncooked pasta, a toothpick, or some other stick-like object.
REASON FOR JOINING: I... mostly joined because I'm sort of researching the culture and wanted to do more than just watch you guys go back and forth in the forums. Sorry if that makes it sound like I'm making you labrats or something, but that's just how I'm wired to think sweatdrop
Other than that, there's a very severe Goth shortage in my area. I'd think maybe out of the 2300+ students in my school less than a dozen are true goths (read; not posers) and we lost a few to class of '08. So, if I'm going to think the part and look the part, I'm damn well going to know the part. If I'm lucky I might be able to help a few emerging bats by the time I graduate. mrgreen
