Johnny Malone Nelowulf Des Voh Nelowulf Perfect evil horde character: Lich. Nobody ever plays them, but they beat even demons. I love playing Liches. So much power at my hands. *starry-eyed* Best part, nobody can kill you. You're already dead. And short of a demi-god, nothings got any mortal power strong enough to take you down out in the open. Well once your phylactery is destroyed they can pretty much open up on you. But that means they have to find the damn thing first. (Which can be a difficult task) Just dont' tell the noobs that, and they'll never find it.

Precisely. And even if they "find it" magically, just say "that ain't it".

World of warcraft has the lich king.
Sauran is a lich by definition, plenty of places.

Sauron is never refered to as a lich but the very fact that his life essence is tied to the ring (after it's forging) could be related to the lich. I must say that the One Ring may very well be the best damn phylactery ever.

Well, he was a magical servant, and died, whose spirit was bound to an object which defied death.
Close enough to a lich for me.

Would it be possible to pull off that sort of thing in Star Wars? As a Sith technique I mean.

Fantasy is my forte.

Des Voh I hang between alot of them. But I love Star Wars, and I'm getting better. My knowledge has increased significantly since joining the guild. Before all I had done was seen the movies and read some of Zahn and the Rogue Squadron stuff (not all of it just a couple books) as well as some NJO.

In star wars, the sith have come back as ghosts by attaching themselves to objects. Remember the temples on Yavin?
But once you lose corporeal form, its pretty much the end of it for you. The only person off the top of my head who has defied death and came back in a body is Palps. But he's the only one who knows the technique, and given his personality, it went with his death. Not even his book would hold that secret.
