Artemis Vulpes Not sure why they canceled Invader Zim. It must not have done too well when it originally aired, but then gained large support from those that discovered it later on, turning it into a cult classic.
It's because Nickelodeon wanted Jhonen Vasquez to make it more kid-friendly, and he basically said "F you". I think it was a good decision on his part; I love the fact that it's such a mind-screw. X3

Cartoon Network should of picked it up then and just ran it on adult swim.
