Diana Vulpes Limited? Fog, every single person on Gaia is getting the item. I thought it was only those who participated in the event.

As far as I know, you'll get the item as long as you were logged in when the record was broken. 3nodding
I think I was. . . I really hope I was. whee

Here's the deal: if we reach 100K users online during this event, everyone will be given a special commemorative item to celebrate their part in Gaian history!

I do believe that everyone means everyone. They were urging users to just be on Gaia doing anything, not necessarily participating in the event.
I am dead certain that ever single last user is going to get the item.

Here's how you can determine the price of the item as well. Good Item - Somewhere around 1/100 are going to be "on the market" for the given week (That is, roughly 1000 being sold, bought, exchanged around, etc...). Prices will be moderate, but less than a donation item/letter. An "okay" item - About 1/50. Prices will be fair, you could probably buy more than one, but it'll be a long while before the value starts to noticeably increase. Bad Item - Half the people want to sell, the market is completely flooded. You could buy ten and not go broke, but the minute you do the price drops even more. You'd be lucky to sell them for a profit at any time for a few years. Think of them like the dried grass skirts. For years they were worthless...you could get them for about 50g, sometimes less! Now they're about ...aww...they devalued...they were about 1k+ ....Meh, if they go back to being worthless I'll just restock some more. xd

'm pretty sure it is for those who where on when it occured. They even said in the most recent announcment- Quote: Thank you so much for participating in the event and making this new landmark in Gaia history. We'd like to send a celebration gift to all those who participated. Please wait for additional announcements for more detail. I don't think they are going to be very specific about the exact time though. Probably everyone who logged in that day will get the item. Actually I even found the quote in the previous announcement that states- Quote: But if you log in on the day when the record is broken, you will get the item (eventually).

Ah, okay, so if you were logged on when it happened then you get the item.
That is cool, because my two main accounts are always logged on. 3nodding

Well, I did log on that day, but I wasn't around for the 100k mark breaking. We'll just have to see if they keep to their word. Still, tis a pity I couldn't be there. I was doing homework.

Anyone have any suggestions for this avatar? I want to keep the sexy Chippendale style thing going, at least with the bowtie and such, but I just feel it lacks a lot in style and monitary value. I'd like to work in some expensive items but only if they won't look forced or silly with the rest.

Same here; the only time I'm not logged in is when I restart Firefox/my laptop (neither of which happens very often). 3nodding
Yay. whee

Well, the cat ears I have on now are worth like 10k more than the paper ears and look better, don't they? The vest is sort of cute but has a very small value and the boots are really cheap but not too bad. I wanted shoes but ddn't know which ones woud look right without socks or pants, but those might work. smile I also had on the cat tail but thought the lion one looked cuter and it's also worth more. Well yea. I just need to find good ones that don't look funny without any pants. wink
