By the way Kriss; are you ever going to get another furt? :O (Dies from the cute ferret pictures) No more, the temptation is too great. (hides in corner) There is a good chance I'll get another ferret again, but it won't be till I finish college at least since I can't have them in the dorms. I was also thinking about maybe trying a some sugar gliders. Always been tempted to try them out. whee

I think that has a lot to do with how much time you spend with them and getting them properly bonded with you. They are very social from the little reading I've done, and you really need to spend time with them everyday, even if it is only to carry them around in your pokets all day while they sleep. Another big thing though I think has to do if you get one that has been handled properly when young. If you don't get one that has, they take a lot of handling to get them to where they will accept you. They will otherwise be very pissy and bite. My one cousin who does the breeding of the snakes and stuff I was telling you about, got one from a frined that didn't want it. It was really nasty towards people because it just had no human contact. XP

Well, I was very very happy... and now I'm not thanks to my parents and sisters xp . I went to a university open day today, but I didn't go looking for courses (I've already made up my mind on what to apply for) so I stayed in the games lab (where one of my sisters was 'helping' out) and played UT2k4 for about 5 hours straight, made a friend and had heaps and heaps of fun. But when I went home and my mother asked me what courses I looked at. My sister (who was also gaming and not actually helping) piped up and told them I hadn't looked at anything but had been in the games lab the entire time, then I got yelled at by my 2 other sisters and mother, then when my dad found out, he yelled at me as well.
Oh well, at least I still feel slightly happy, that is most likely the most fun I've had with games for a long time.

I just got scammed on Gaia. I bought art from a joint art shop and they had the customers pay before hand. Once you ordered, they said that your art will be done in a few days and will be pmed when the art is finished. Well..it's been 6 weeks and I have not received a pm about it taking longer then usual. And I know they're still on Gaia, because they opened another shop and are doing the same thing to those people....I lost 30k because of this

I hope the mods accually help you, when i got scamed i lost 20k and the mods didn't do anything to help me out. this was over a year ago, i've resent stuff but in the end i just gave up.

The fact you say that you should spend nothing on art just makes you sound like a real jerk in my opinion. I'm sorry us artists' aren't worth any of your time or effort. You want art, but you only want it for free or for pennies. But then again, I'm sure you don't expect to get paid for your time or effort either. I'm sure you work your job for free too. Rant aside, Rainy I hope you are able to get your money back, althoug I have a feeling that you might not be that lucky. If nothing more the people should be banned from their accounts.

I agree with Kriss, Fog. At least the artists on Gaia are nice enough to offer commissions for fake money. You could be stuck on a site that allows cash commissions and where you couldn't get art at all. Be grateful for the artists who do commissions for gold (no matter how much). Because you're still getting it for free in the big picture. We can't exactly make real money out of pixel items, so we're not really making anything. And alot of us desperately need the real money,
