Kaine shrugged and followed her onto the brach without breaking it "well what can i say he ran at me knowing who i was" kaine pet the half cat and scratched it under its chin.

Kratos sighed as he walked over to Joe, resting his hand on his shoulder. His eyes flashed white, "Morvida." as a white light rushed through him, returning his blood. "Don't mention it..." he said as he walked away.

Kaine saw the light and sighed sheathing Lust "well i hope he learned a lesson i hate the stubborn"

she purrs softly "hmm wonder why" she muttered, she smiles and looks around

Kratos sighed, "The stubborn...the foolish...both will die...but both are determined...they are of value in this mission." he said as he continued walking.

Kaine looked at the man and said "we are all born with one goal and only one goal we all have in common ...death" kaine grinned and continued scratching the half cat.

Kratos stopped but did not look back. "Death cannot be alluded, thus has no real meaning to be sought. If you do however...that will be one that seeks you."

"Owch. That wouldn't hurt if I was only human." he heals the wound and gets his heart pumbing blood at a faster rate. than stands up. "I let you go with a warning now." he whispers than starts walking towards the inn.

Kaine grinned "well im a deathseeker but thats not what im seeking right now..." kaine looked the half cat "so this gate thats such a big deal... is it worth alot of money?"

she looks at Kratos "when do we leave?" she asked curiously

Kratos's eyes watched Joe as he headed to the inn. "Did I miss something?" he asked sarcastically as he rolled his eyes again.

Kratos shook his head. "We leave when you are ready...it seems pointless to rest with the restless.." he looked at Kaine. "The gate is not something you can take...it is a rift in time and space. Through its portals..." he let his voice trail as he started walking away. "Let's go."

Kaine considered picking up the cat but then had a mental image of it clawing out his eyes. He shook his head and followed the man leaving the cat behind.

Kratos let his wings spread a bit as he stretched. "Kratos." he muttered not saying anymore.

"oh yea leave me why dont you" she muttered and hopped off the branch, she follows after them
