Julia stood still, The elevator stoped the doors opened slowly. L steped out. Julia followed behind.

"A couple of people," L said walking over to his chair. Julia walked over to the white board, " did you confirm this L?" she asked, "yes. we did... it makes perfect sence..." Julia smiled, she opened the dry erase marker, writing above everything else she wrote, 'kira needs real name to kill'.

"well, there really isnt a top suspect, every one that i am suspisous of, they are just under a 5% suspious..." he said.

"it isnt odd..." julia said, "5% is a high number... it get really bad when there is some one that is over 18%... " julia said, she was walking around cleaning up the littered papers. "But there is nobody that i know of that is over 18%, besides the ones that i suspect..." she said. L nodded, "how do you suspect... you still havent told me yet, " L looked over. Julia smiled, "i cant tell you just yet... cause i am not totally sure myself..." she said.

"Well, not really... mabey just a little bit... but not alot..." L said looking over at him, " i kinda suspect alot of people... i am sorry.." he said. Julia looked over at him, "can you believe that i was a suspect?" she pulled out the lolliepop out of her purse. "here you go L..." he said, handing him the lolliepop.

"So i'm a suspect.. by the way, I think I have an idea who Kira is.. Or at least, where he or she could be." Kibai leaned and whispered in L's ear.
"Whover it is, is in this building. that explosio9n wasn't an accident, that's obvious. And the police station was right outside the range of the big boom."

L nodded, "yes, it is..." he opened up the lolliepop and began eating it. Julia was walking around the office. she sneezed suddenly.

Shin had arrived home. Going to his room, he emptied his backpack. "Hmmm? A black book? I don't remember having this..." He looked at the cover closely. "D... E... A... T... H... N... O... T... E... What does that spell?"
Kuro spoke from behind the lad. "It spells Death Note."
Shin turned around and screamed. Kuro smiled.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here to be your friend. That book is part of a game I'll play with you. You like games don't you?"
Shin's mother stepped into the room. "Honey, what's wrong?" Shin dropped his jaw. How could she not see the boogeyman behind him???
"Mommy! Don't you see the monster?"
"Monster? I don't see a monster. Are you playing tricks on me, young man?"
Kuro laughed wickedly. "She can't see me. I'm magic."
Shin just then realized how badly he was caught. "Yeah. Just playin' tricks, Mommy."
"That's not nice! No T.V. for you tonight!"
"Awww..."
As soon as she left, Kuro placed his hand on Shin's shoulder. "Hey, take it easy. I'm here to make you happy."
"What do you mean?"
"You ever have someone who made you really mad?"
"Yeah..."
"That book I gave you, the black one? It makes bad people go away."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You just gotta write their names in it, and they go away."
"But what if I don't know their name?"
"Remember how I said I'm magic? I can make you magic, too. I can make it so that you can see their names above their heads, like a big sign."
"Cool!"
"But you gotta pay half your life."
Kuro turned his back to Shin. His eyes were glowing, and he didn't wish to frighten the child immediately. Also, this would give the kid some time to consider.
"Sure! Make me magic! I wanna make people pay!" He didn't understand what a life really was yet, so the cost was no matter to him.
He turned, and the Deal had been fulfilled. When Shin blinked, he could see Kuro's name floating above his head. "Whoa! I cans see letters above your head!"
"Yeah, that's the magic. Now, you just have to copy the things you see above the person's head to make them go away."
"Cool!" He went downstairs, and tugged at his mom's skirt with his hand, Death Note in the other one and Kuro close behind. "Mommy?"
"Yes, honey?"
"I wanna watch T.V."
"I said no T.V. for you tonight. It's not nice to trick people."
"I'm gonna make you go away!"
Mrs. Tsuki backed a few steps with a gasp. Why would he say something like that? That's not what my little Shin would say! He's the politest little boy I know! Shin opened the book and copied the symbols above his mother's head.
She died seconds later.
"You shoulda let me watch T.V., Mommy."
He went into the living room and watched T.V.
Kuro resisted the urge to laugh.
(Uh-oh!)
