Hello, everyone. I am very new to Gaia, and I'm having fun exploring. I am 42 years old. I'm also a nurse but stay home now to care for and home school my two children, ages 4 and 10. I love to read and usually I am reading two books at a time. I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. I started writing after cancer killed my father. I loved English Literature in highschool. I listen to the Grateful Dead and I am a tree hugging hippie. I thank you for letting me join the guild and I will try to watch my typing errors. biggrin

Greetings and salutations one and all! You may all call me Ember as I answer to that more often than not these days. I am 27 and reside in the beautiful Pacific NorthWET (yes that's on purpose). I enjoy the English language greatly, both reading and writing it. I have been told I am a perfectionist when it comes to spelling and grammar. This usually comes from my boyfriend as I breathe down his neck correcting his writing as he goes. He is also on gaia as Lord_Rauros, though I doubt he will ever become a part of this guild. I, however, am quite happy to have a place to go where I know I will not be cringing inwardly at every other post.

Even though Greetings sounds like a good porno title and salutations sounds like goodbye, I posted here. Hello, I'm 14 year old Emopikminshallruleoverall, EPSROA or Pikmin for short 'cause no one likes to type all 23 characters. I'm not bad in the Grammar department and spelling department. I never type in leet or TXT TLK but I don't disapprove of it being used once or twice or as a joke. Seeing as I'm in 8th grade, my spelling is not the best. I still can't spell Wednesday. Unless I just spelled it right >.>. Grammar is good but if I should use "more" or the suffix "-er" is my only problem, I think. I enjoy video games, and manga/anime. I would greatly like it if I'm acepted(another hard for me to spell) here and have impressive discussions.

Hello, I'm Meagan, a literate 16-year-old Sophomore, but please call me Enny.
I've been literate since I joined Gaia at the age of 14 on March 12th, on my old account OrAnGe_CrUsH. [I wasn't so good with names, then. XP]
I'm very interested in the Japanese Language and culture, and intend to study it in College and possibly live in Japan.
If you would like confirmation on how much I'm into the Japanese language, my iPod is 100% Japanese music.
Like Miyavi [<3], Antic Cafe, Gazette, Home Made Kazoku, etc...
I like animes like Ouran Koukou, Furuba, Naruto, Death Note, Furi Kuri, Trinity Blood, Bleach, and Eureka 7, as well as them in their Manga forms.
I correct my friends' grammar constantly, yet the find it hilarious when they correct me once when I make a typing mistake, when in that very post they've made at least 5. .___________.
I love music. I spend most of my time listening to it. When I'm at school, all I think about it when I can listen to my iPod, which sadly isn't until 9th period.
Oh, yes. 9th preiod is my art class. I LOVE to draw, but I won't draw anything free. Sorry. Unless you're a really good friend of mine and I'm not held up on drawings at the moment, You'll have to bribe me for a picture. My work can be found in my WWW link.

Hey everyone! My name is Starr. I'm 17 years old, although I turn 18 in March. I really love grammar and I love learning about it, but I am human and do make mistakes. I try not to but hopefully being on here with all of you fellow grammar enthusiasts my help me to correct some of those mistakes I do make here and there.

I love reading and writing. I also love watching anime. I watch movies (romantic comedies are my favorite) but not too much tv (although I do love Gilmore Girls, and lately I've been watching Beauty and the Geek). I am currently learning Japanese and having a blast. Additionally, I love music. I listen to it as much as I can, both American and Japanese music, and there's no better thing to me than being at a concert. I plan to have a career in the music industry.

I hope I can make some friends here!

Greetings, everyone! I am Reine, 22, and don't ask me what I'm doing here in Gaia because I have no clear answer to provide you. I've been a member in this guild for a couple of weeks already (or months, probably), but I never got the time to check out Gaia because of my busy schedule.

Anyway, enough of that. I'm working as a Communication Trainer and Entertainment Consultant in a contact center in real life, and I paint and draw as a hobby. Online, I'm a hug-and-fluff addict, and I do commission art for people in Gaia and DevArt.

I love music, but I do not own a radio so I have no idea what's happening in the mainstream music scene. I actually don't know how to categorize the music I listen to, but all I know is that they're not mainstream. ^^;

I love fantasy books, especially those written by Terry Goodkind (Sword of Truth Series), Garth Nix (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen), R. A. Salvatore (The Dark Elf Trilogy) and C. S. Friedman (Coldfire Trilogy). I haven't got my hands on Silmarillion yet (yeah I'm a late bloomer) but I'll get it soon enough. >]

I'm not the argumentative type; I'd rather point something out in the subtlest (or nicest) manner I could think of (believe me, dealing with customers in a contact center does stretch your patience a lot). ^^;
