I just love being yelled at in the morning. Because I use my computer in the morning, I'm normally about 1-2 minutes late (but I've never missed the train). Each time I do it, my mother yells at me and says I shouldn't do it, etc etc. Except the fact is, my sister does the exact same thing, although she isn't quite as late, she still is. I swear my mother has a thing against males (she yells a lot at me and my dad) because of her own father.

wow my mom put large pieces of gum drops into these cookies...
anyway...We almost had a dog run over last night. We were training and I went to my car to get nail clippers to clip a dog's toenails and as I was coming through the gate a dog not in our training group broke away from its owner and started chasing one of the dogs. It was not a friendly chase and the chasee was trying to run away from this dog. The only way out was out the gate behind me and so I tried to get the other dog, but I had mine off leash with me so I couldn't go far. The chasee ran out of the gate, through the parking lot and into the busy street. I couldn't see her, but all I heard was screeching of brakes. One of the other handlers ran out into the street and got the cars to stop while she herded the dog back into the parking lot where we could leash her
And the bad thing is..none of the others has had experience with this so all they could do was watch and call their dogs.

Manda_Tifa Zella L. neutral Gettin a little sick o this... Why does no one(cough, my mom namely) trust anyone to do their job? Sure, proffessionals make mistakes, but if you suspect them of doing so, you can just question them! For Pete's sake, you don't need to walk away and say "We shouldn't listen to that doctor/lawyer/counselor who's trying to help us; I know what I'm doing, because a friend of a friend who studied in a field related to that once said that might not work, and we should trust /them/, not this two-bit proffessional who handles these cases on a day-to-day basis." Cuz this is exactly what happened today--my mom made a descision based on what someone she barely knows who barely studied in the same field said, and she WOULD NOT let either my dad or I have a say in it, even though we were in the same room. When I talk to her about it, not only will she not admit that she might be wrong, but she just turns it on me because I'm the person this discision is regarding. Doesn't that mean that I should at least have a say in it?! Funny how that works....What's wrong though...was it a doctor thing? Are you sick?! EEK!! *clings to the antelope* Tell me! sweatdrop Aww heart *counterclimgs* that means so much that you care that much! Don't worry though, it's not medical. *hugs*

..Even though I mostly lurk about this place..being the shy little lurker that I am..
I still feel that it's my duty to still declare that I will be away on vacation starting the 18th of this month(aka tomorrow) and will be returning from vacation around the 5th of September. Please be forwarned that I cannot guarantee my activity after that point, as I will be in University Level courses which will be consuming much of my free time...Which means that I'll probably be a very busy bat girl and not have much computer access.
..So..Yeah.. sweatdrop

Well, I have finally made a decision about this, so here goes.
Ladies and Gents,
I am no longer a furry.
* GASP SHOCK HORROR *
Now, before you freak out, this is hardly a drastic change. I still intend to draw anthros and I'm DEFINATELY keeping my characters and representations of myself ( I love em too much to give up D: AND I STILL WANT ART OF EM DAMNIT ). I'm not gonna leave DA or gaia. I'm not gonna abandon my furry friends, I just don't think of myself as a furry anymore. I don't feel connected with the bulk of the fandom, and I have been growing outta things a lot recently. I don't feel like spelling out any more reasons then that, and who knows, maybe I'll get back into it, but for now I'm just an anthro artist. :3

So you are not exactly leaving the fandom nor stopping being a fan of anthro critters. How exactly are you no longer a furry?

Lots to report on.
First, had my first day of college today. It was nice, save for this morning, where I didn't have a pencil in my English comp class and I could tell the teacher was NOT happy with me. English comp sounds like a right nightmare, and here I thought it would be all roses, seeing as how that's my favorite subject. She gave us a small test/sample of how accurate we are at correcting mistakes we make mechanically. Needless to say I did terrible on that....who knew "received" was spelled that way? Ah well. No reasearch paper in Comp 1, I'm so HAPPY! heart Zero Level Math seems an easy job......though I have to email my instructor asking her for the other half of my assignment, seeing as how I didn't write it down. T.T
I also got a paycheck today...whoo me for being gainfully employed! heart
