Cale Darksun Johnny Malone Cale Darksun Johnny Malone Cale Darksun Sorry. thats beyond me. My geat contributions to D&D monsters were homebrew killables like the Malhamutkin and the dreaded El Pollo del Fuego Grande. And such luminary prestige classes like "The Feat Whore" Truly one of my masterpieces. Right up there with the Dragon Wing Boomerang. Don't forget the elven chain whip or the piece of scrap iron that orcs call the "choppa" Ever since the D&D boards, the Choppa has kind of lost it's importance to me. Don't listen to those assholes. The important thing is that your group likes it.

Des Voh Choppa? Please, tell more. Its an Orc weapon, a bar of iron with an edge and a leather wrapped handle. Its designed to serve as both a club and a sword to better deal with armor plated dwarves, thus it counts as both slashing and bludgeoning.

Now we got a roliking oriental adventure full of Samurai, rice, oni, and Kabuki.

I don't see a problem with that, just like the swords they used in LotR, seems extremely orcish to me.

Blame the lethality of Bushi training. You've seen the anime and the movies. Samurai thugs always travel in packs.

They kept ripping into me about how cheep axes were and how much more sense it made to just buy clubs and axes than waste time forging these choppas. It pissed me off and I really dont feel like getting further into it.

I could see an orc wielding one with two hands and doing a 1d12 with that sort of thing.

I like how Eberron did the orcs though. Swamp dwellers and Druids. Shamanistic and kept to themselves.

That was also something I liked.
For the Orcs in my Oriental Campaign, I mounted them on Protoceratops and made them Mongolians.

Whats even better, they're not stupid and the dwarves are the Chinese. And to explain how the two events corelate with one another, Ive prepared a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiorU5jYdLc
