Eevees are a bit of a rarity...which is why Im hoping that the trainer to this Pokemon is found soon. Come here you...thank you." He said, taking the Eevee into his arms, and scratched it behind the ears. "Anyways...I take it you three are all together?" "We are." I said. "Well. As you may have gathered, I'm Bill. I run the Pokemon storage system here within the Jhoto and Kanto regions and also help maintain the Inter-region trading system." "Unfortunately." "You make it sound like its a bad thing." "No the trade system is a good thing, I was referring to who is running it." I said. "Now that isn't nice." "Bill, you have always put a lot on your plate to handle. You go totally OCD on practically everything and it bites you harder than anything I could ever experience." I said. "Everyone that I know personally that knows you called you out on it." "Well...maybe, but at least I mean well." "What you need is help organizing. I mean, I bet this maintenance job was impromptu, isn't it?" "...maybe?" "And while Im on the OCD subject, you come up with all sorts of crazy experiments in the meantime that...ugh...Ryan wasn't kidding about the one time he got fused with a Pokemon." "Well that was an accident! I was working on the Pokemon teleportat-" "Then we have that little time incident..." "Okay okay! I get your point! Geez, I don't need a reminder, Blizzard. Leave it to you to remember this stuff...some people would care to forget." "Forgetting the past leaves to the same mistakes in the future." I said. "Too much like your teacher, as usual."

"Apparently, your reputation precedes you." Aden quipped, trying his best not to laugh. Humorous as it all sounded, he doubted any of it was a laughing matter and he didn't want to find out what exactly happened in either case. "At least I know I'm not as bad on doing too much at once. Anyway, name's Aden. You could kinda say Blizz took me under his wing a bit. Sort of. It's a long story."

"I didn't think apprentices could take on anyone until they're leaders." He said. "Says who?" I asked. "Well uh...never mind." He said. "I guess I was mistaken. I just never heard of it, is all." "Its not too unlike the apprentices holding classes in the gym. Only thing of it is the circumstances he and I are together like this." I said to him. "I take it that you are here on the gym run then?" "He is." I said, pointing towards Aden. "I just watch."

Ryan recalls his Gardevoir and scoops up Ruth in his arms. Ruth wiggles until he is comfortable. "And I am with them as an observer. I am also taking in what has changed in the many years since I came through here last." he explains to Bill.

"Ah, is that so?" Bill spoke up. "I would imagine that it will be a pretty tough one to overcome. But I suppose if you got by Whitney, then anything is possible." He said, laughing a bit.
"Its always the cow." I said.
"Did you plan on doing anything during your wait?" he asked.
"Still thinking on that actually. Why?"
"Oh, no reason really. Its just...well..." He then looked back at Aden. "Ok, I'll be upfront. Its just me being the general scientist and all."
"I would deem you more techie than actual scientist." I said.
"ANYWAYS...I'm actually...curious a little...I never...thought...well...a Pokemon hybrid can have more than one Pokemon trait..." He said looking at Aden.
"...it's...not all unheard of, Bill. It's..."
"...human genetics doing its thing with everything practically being fifty-fifty odds, even as far as hair color and gender, yea yea yea, I know that, but you got to consider, hybrids are still a new thing to us! You know that. I mean, only a handful only cropped up in the regions only within the past decade or so. Its like...well, they came out of nowhere. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to cause any offense or anything, but it just gets me wondering how can a hybrid like him can actually...well...survive. I mean, two Pokemon with types clashing like that? Namely his Grass and Fire Type heratige? There's not really any Pokemon even remotely close that resembles that typing that anyone knows of." He said. "Such a suggestion would leave one to think that he probably gets sick a lot in one fashion or another, or his Pokemon type weaknesses are all sorts of odd and..."
"Bill, stop." I spoke up. "You're gushing."
"Sorry."

Suddenly, he knew exactly why Ceramew got so nervous around the regional professors. "Besides, I doubt any of us know genetics well enough to explain a lot of things. But I haven't been too sickly since I was a kid."

Don't you have work to get back to?" "Well, I think I may need to take a break and look after this Eevee for a little while and-ooop!" "Vui!" The Eevee hopped out of Bill's arms and padded its way over towards Aden. It got up next to Aden's leg, up on its hind legs and bracing itself upon Aden, looking up at him. "Vuiiiii!" Apparently Eevee likes Aden's company.

"In the few minutes I've known you, that might be a smart idea-" Aden's sentence saw an abrupt end when the Eevee in Bill's arms jumped out and looked up at him. "Hm? What?" He said, kneeling down long enough to pick the Eevee up.

He said, kneeling down long enough to pick the Eevee up. "No; one thing that I picked up is that this particular Eevee is practically a glutton for affection. Either from me, or him, or some other random stranger. I wonder how spoiled this Eevee got before it made its trip here." Bill said. "Eevee, you hungry?" "Vui?" The eevee's ears perked up and then hopped out of Aden's arms again and then made its way over to Bill. "See? Come on you silly thing." he said, picking the Eevee back up off the ground and carrying it off.

"It wouldn't take all that long as far as dealing with the maintainence of the trading system, the storage, and so on. Trying to fix the mix-up, however, will be a whole other matter. No record makes it hard to find who traded Eevee over." he said.

If you've got some way of contacting him, this might work out... anyway, I'd figure trying to fix the mix-up would be a priority, and if Eevee's this glutton for attention like you're saying, I could look after it instead until you find out who it belongs to."
