What is the fun of doing what has already been done? Some originality is always good.

Diana Vulpes What is the fun of doing what has already been done? Some originality is always good. True, but you can also build upon existing ideas or even alter ones to something different. I mean, say you find an avatar that clearly isn't a winner, but you notice they made something interesting with some glitches. You then just build upon it and see what you can make. I found several glitches I'd like to try but was too poor to do. Another example would be if you find an avatar that looks pretty cool, but it's too expensive and not your style. Just alter it to your style and see what comes up. ...then there's always random tekteking... I made a magician off there that I'll never afford either. xd

Not quite sure on which UpsideDown Coat I should get. Each one looks great, but they're all so pricy I can't buy all of them.
Green one is good for camo, and I don't have a lot of green, but then again I don't have a lot of purple either. Same goes for Brown, but I do have a lot of black and gray. *sighs*

I am starting to wonder if instead of the elaborate avatar contest we do we should just make it a more simple avatar area set up. Still like the idea of tossing a theme in now and then, but I am curious if it would be more enjoyed over all if guild members actually got to vote on their favorite.

Here's what I see to be the main issues here. If you go with letting anyone vote on it, then there should be a reduced prize (if there is one) to something more minimal (along with entry fees). This way, there wouldn't be much incentive to using mules to rack up the votes. In addition, I'd recommend limiting people to every other contest...though this may be too limiting. If you stay with what's going on now, then you got what you still have...whether good or bad. sweatdrop Personally, I'd enter if I had anything worth entering... I'm just too poor to have anything that cool. neutral
