Blizzard120 "Excuse me. Aden?" The nurse spoke from the counter. "Your Pokemon's check up is done." "Huh?" I checked my watch. "Seriously? My God, Time flies." Kris immediately checked her Pokegear. "Wow, time does fly...well, um. I think I best be going then. Thanks for helping me out, Aden. Maybe we'll see each other again sometime? Maybe though in a shorter time span." she gave a bit of a laugh and started to walk off. As both Ryan and Kris walked off, I couldn't help but to break out one question. "Ok, Aden...seriously...what the hell got you involved with...well...her." I said. Jesus christ, and here I gave Aden credit for not knowing how to work like that. "Huh? Oh, thanks... and yeah, instead of several years inbetween like last time." Not that it could be helped, he knew, but his mind went off of it when Blizzard spoke up. "Yeah, about that... when Celebi went and flung me to when Gold was on his journey, she was with the rest Team Rocket captured. In fact, he was trying to save her in the first place at the time." Aden explained. To him, he didn't think much of it. It wasn't like he asked her out or anything. "To be honest, I didn't expect to run into her again in the present any more than she probably did. Or for Gold to go missing sometime after his journey, which has me wondering what really happened. Or if I somehow did mess things up by my helping." By now, he managed to get Eevee into his arms proper, petting and keeping it sated for now as he got the rest of his Pokemon. "I figured I could try and keep an eye out for him, maybe focus more on actually looking after this journey. It'd at least get me seeing more of the world."

He figured most of them would be fine, if a bit of indifference from Geodude. Scyther and Nidorino, though... he wasn't so certain. Gulping, he slowly went outside of the Pokemon Center to get this over with. If a scene was to start, he didn't want it to be inside.

If Aden was going to need help putting down a riot, I'd be the one to do it. If anything, that should have realized that for a while now.

Ryan retreats to his room in the pokemon center. After entering, he carefully sets Ruth down on one of the pokemon beds that are in the rooms. The little dragon barely stirs from his slumber. Ryan then sits on his bed and pulls out not only his pokedex, but a rather thick journal. It was his personal notes and investigations into the rarer pokemon of both Kanto and Jhoto. With all this legendary nonsense going on, it didn't hurt to look at what data he had amassed over the years.

As Aden walked outside, he feared the worst as he released each of his Pokemon. This ended up making a bit of a circle around him, and the Eevee he set down.
Eevee would try to latch onto the first thing seen, that being Nidorino... before Aden thankfully stopped that effort.
"(...And the heck is that brown fluffball?)" Nidorino spoke up.
"Yeah, about that... we've kinda got a newcomer. Eevee, say hi- no, not that way..." Aden had to pry Eevee from his face again.
The reaction that followed varied. Nidorino rolled his eyes, Scyther turned away, Geodude just stayed where he was. The rest were a bit warmer in their reception. Raticate and Poliwhirl walked closer, and while Flaaffy stayed behind, she was practically fawning over the idea of another friend.
"Anyway... kinda a weird mixup happened, so Eevee's staying with us. At least until things are sorted out, if that happens anytime soon. What do you all think?"
"(I think she's cute.)" Flaffy said, almost immediately.
"(I think I'm hungry for fox.)" Nidorino huffed.
"(I can sharpen my scythes...)" Scyther added.
"Eevee's not food, so no... Poliwhirl, Geodude, Raticate?"
Geodude shrugged in response. Nice to see another addition, but remained indifferent. Poliwhirl, however, would extend a hand as if asking for a paw to shake.
"(Forgive some of our members. We're glad to see you- oof!)" Instead of getting a paw, he got a face full of fluff. "(...aboard.)"
"(Ooh, ooh, she's brown and white too, maybe she can go all whoosh and fight evil and...)"
"Maybe I should've introduced one at a time... anyway, this raises a bit of an issue. With Eevee, well. We have seven. I won't be able to have all of you with me, so I'd have to put one of you into the PC box..."
"(You ain't throwing me in there.)" Nidorino shot.
"(I'd rather stay too...)"
"I know, Flaaffy, that's the hard part. I'd put Geodude in, but he's not too experienced either, so I'm kinda at a loss."
"(I could move to the sidelines.)"
"Poliwhirl, I'd really rather not, with what we'll be up against kinda soon."
"(And you'll be no less capable than you are now, no? You still have the rest, and a chance to bring the newer ones up to speed. But don't be surprised if I greet you with a prompt shower once I'm back in the scene.)"
"Don't remind me..." Aden shook his head, still remembering the day he caught Poliwhirl. Blasted Water Gun facials. "But Eevee, what do you think of everyone- my face isn't everyone."
"Buii~!"

Well, this wasn't as bad as I'd thought it be. Though, at least this much, his Pokemon are actually deliberating like this. Poliwhirl straight up volunteered to go take a break and leave Eevee in his spot. Though I'd have to agree with Aden a little...with the Gym battle tonight, I'd be hard for certain, and it would have been good to have someone a bit seasoned. Oh well, part of the challenges of being a trainer.
"I guess it's settled then. I guess we can get to practicing for tonight." I told him. "We may have a lot of work to do until then."

"This might work out, though, at least in time."

It wold have been one thing that he took this Eevee from an abusive trainer or such, but this was a accidental encounter with seemingly no way to find out who the original trainer was. I left the Pokemon Center and made my way off for the mansion. This was going to be a bit hectic; trying to help get Eevee in somewhat fighting shape, let alone any other of his Pokemon, to fend off Morty by tonight. Aden already knew of what a Ghost type could do, for the most part, thanks to Kristy. Aden is probably also very well aware what Kristy performed could very well be child's play to Morty. This was going to be very pressing for the next few hours.
When we finally arrived back at the mansion, I went on inside. I had a couple of Pokemon to go get for this exercise.

Darksol88 Aden followed, quiet for the moment as he watched Blizzard go onward. Surprisingly, he didn't see Sol or his sister anywhere, but then, they might pop in from behind him for all he knew. I had my senses on full alert as always, but really? There wasn't any point in trying to keep a look out, let alone Sol. He always just randomly existed somehow. Was he a ninja in a past life or something? "Alright Aden...Im not quite sure as to what that Eevee can do right now. We don't know any prior training, if anything. How affectionate it acts, it may have been a pet at one time. For that matter, since we're out here, we may want to get Geodude in on some action, too. Are you ready?"

At least it's not like how Nidorino and Flaaffy are around each other. I'm ready, though." I thought for a moment. If Eevee was in fact a pet, I didn't want to go full throttle on it. That would accomplish nothing. Its kind of hard to say, though, which Pokemon to go with in a case like this...maybe, since Aden will have to go fight a Ghost gym... "Give me a second, Aden..." I stepped inside the mansion and took a look around. "ROTOM! QUIT PLAYING WITH THE GASTLY AND GET OVER HERE! I NEED YOU FOR A FEW!" I took a look around and went further. "Blast it, is that ghost possessing the fridge again?" "RO-TOM!" A whirring sound was heard, and down the hall, Rotom came forth...but he wasn't possessing the fridge. He took possession of a stand-up fan. "...well...at least it isn't the fridge. Get out of that thing, will you? You're going for a bit of exercise." "TOM!" A quick release of the fan right out of mid air made me dive for the appliance. "YOU COULD HAVE LANDED FIRST!" After putting away the fan, I found my way back outside. "Alright, Aden, have at you."
