just as you whited out the area outside, you have to do the same on the closed places inbetween body parts...

I figured as much...
for example take the bird baby that you used.
Notice how there is black in between his body and hair... white that out with the "fill in" (the bucket of paint) option. For the others you just have to fill in close around them... the appearance of lines like that means that the area around them was already a different color.

I hope that was a little better... but you have the basic idea sweatdrop
