(temporary) star trek reboot (since gais's being weird)

Zepatos groaned.
"damnit I didn't go near the stupid decks." he grumbled, walking in.

"It's just proceedure," McCoy replied. "Besides......I'm apparently suppose to like you oh-so-much that I have trouble restraining myself."

He took a few moments to scan Zepatos. "Clear," he said. "Now get out of here." He gently bopped him on the head.

"Alright....pointy ears and Jinx," he called.

Zepatos coudln't help but smile.
"Yeah, you know you want some of this Bonesy." he said, gesturing to his body and then laughing. He waved and headed out, glad the procedure was over so quickly.

He then paused and glanced around. No security and only Uhura once jinx and Spock were occupied. he smirked to himself, perfect.

Once Spock and jinx went in he started to wander 'casually' down the corridor and then once he was out of Uhura range broke into a full run.
"later! whoo!"

Uhura shouted after and called security. Spock hailed to the captain. "Sir, Zepatos has made a break for it after decatamination," he said calmly. "Security has been alerted and in pursuit."

Jinx looked sad at Zepatos running off. Spock then got an idea. "If you could please hurry doctor," he asked.

"Just hold your horses," he said. A moment later he cleared both of them.

Uhura came up and apologized. "No need," he replied. "He'll be found soon." He looked to Jinx who was sniffing at he air and ground. "She's going to be quite helpful in the pursuit."

Uhura smiled catching what he was thinking. She looked at Jinx.

"Jinx....go.....find....Zepatos," she said.

"Go....Zepatos," she sniffed around again and found his scent. Then she darted off with Uhura and Spock trailing after her.

Kirk resisted punching the table in frustration as his stress levels jumped up another notch. He sighed irritably.
"Spock I trust you can deal with this one? I'm kinda busy here."
he looked back at Chekov and finally gestured for him to take a seat.
"Just...just sit down." he took a breath to focus his thoughts again. "Right. Where were we?"

Zepatos charged down the corridor, both happy he'd gotten a chance to break free and also wondering what the hell he'd let himself in for.

He paused for a split second before diving down one of the corridors, trying to figure out his way down to the hangar that held his ship. if he could get inside he should be able to use one of his illegal software programs to bypass the main ship's controls and open up the hatch to let him out, but that was dependant on him finding it and the ship actually being in one piece. While he liked the crew here he couldn't risk them handing him and his ship over to starfleet with his record.

he manage dot get down a few floors before getting lost and having to round on himself again, running as fast as he could.
"argh why doens't this place have any stupid signs?!"

"Affirmitive captain," Spock replied.

Jinx was truly an agile and quick creature. And other then the purr she made no other sound. One could only imagine what she was like as a predator in her natural environment.

They went down a couple floors before Jinx paused. Her ears twitched and she got close to the floor. All sound from her stopped as she stalked her prey.

Uhura was a bit winded herself but did her best to keep up.

Zepatos found himself at another dead end and slammed his hand agaisnt the wall in anger.
"argh!"
he paused, panting lightly and trying to get his bearings.
"hangars on the lower floors....damn it where did the turbo elevator go?"

Jinx paused a split second before darting off at a break-neck pace.


"You know...." Uhura said running after her. "These Kaygens would make for great security I think."

Jinx skidded to a stop as she turned the corner. "Zepatos," she said proudly at finding him.

Zepatos turned swiftly around form staring at the dead end ahead of him and then groaned.
"oh god damnit jinx!" he looked up as spotted Spock and Uhuru following as well as a veritable army of security. It was pointless fighting.
"ugh....." he stepped back and slumped moodily against the wall, folding hsi arms.

Jinx flinched at his tone and slicked back. "You know," Uhura said. "You're giving us major trust issues here."

Jinx slowly crawled her way back to Zepatos and purred sadly. She tugged as one of his pant legs and rubbed her cheek against his knee. When the security approached to take him she moved in front of him and growled in warning from sensing the tension in the air.

"Spock to captain-subject has been found. I advise he be returned to the cell."

Uhura meanwhile was trying to calm Jinx down.

Zepatos snorted.
"Can you honestly blame me? It was worth at least one try - you're not giving me any reason to stick around."
he then winced as the security grabbed hold of him. "ow, easy."

Kirk nodded at the communication, looking a little relived. "good work. yes put him in his sell, disable his ship properly please, just in case he gets any more ideas."

Uhura shook her head with disapproval at Zepatos's comment. Jinx's hair's stood on end. "Calm down Jinx.....Zepatos was being bad," Uhura said calmly.

Jinx looked confused. "Zepatos.....bad?" she said. "Zepatos....Jinx.....friend."

Uhura sighed while Spock sent out orders about the man's ship and escorted him back to the cell.

zepatos looked somewhere between angry and miserable.
"What are they going to do to my ship? keep your paws off her!"

"Due to your actions it has been decided that it is best to disable your ship incase of any future disturbances you care to make," Spock replied in a calm manner.

McCoy finished up with the remainder in the medical bay and hailed Kirk as a reminder that he still needed to come down.

"What do you mean by 'disable'?" Zepatos demanded.

Kirk replied to the hail form McCoy.
"Understood doctor, I'll be there in a few minutes. When you've finished up I'll need you or your nurses to do an autopsy on the casualties to confirm the cause of death. Then have them prepared for transport."
