Pero I guess for my career, I'd rather be here in the US. 'Cause you have to admit, 'yung economy natin 'di ganun ka successful. Lack of jobs. Low-paying jobs. Etc. Kung gusto mong my matinong kita kailangan nasa politics, artista, or mag call center ka nalang.
Government's extra corrupt. Crime rates are just soaring high. Minsan kahit may degree ka na, it's not enough.
Don't get me wrong, I love our country. But I'm all about surviving and providing a better life for my children if ever. c:

Pero why did you choose to study in Phil.?
E mababa ang quality ng education dito.
Now that can be true in some way, but I believe it all depends on the person naman. High quality nga dito kuno, eh wala ka naman halos matutunan kasi masyadong spoon-fed. No need to memorize since enumerations are almost nonexistent. In high school, some students here don't even have an idea about what has already been learned by elementary students in the Philippines. Plus, I've met Filipinos back there who are DEFINITELY much more literate than foreigners out here. You think they'd be awfully smart about that since they were born here, but that's false: Grammar and spelling's a fail. Limited vocabulary. Can't even construct a proper sentence. Etc etc. I think it's all up to the person on how you use what's taught, some of those won't even matter when it comes to the real world. I think siguro kaya lang sila high quality kasi they're not a third world quality, that's why.
Anyway, I'm blabbering... I chose to study in the Philippines because of the cost of living. Cheaper education. Cheaper expenses. Cheaper everything. Saka 'yung education tuloy-tuloy. Unlike here, when you have to compromise everything and eventually be filled with student loans. Dami mong thousands of utang nun to pay off for years. I have a 10 year course, and kung andito ako it would be 10 year plus. Tapos pag graduate ko punong-puno ako ng utang? Pbfft. Besides, I left my heart over there. I'd be happier at home, even though I already have it good here, what can I do? Saka it's more fun in the Philippines talaga. lol |
