"Maybe your still out of it? You could use some R&R" Dan smiled as he brought out Electra. Essentially, the tiny Pichu was perfect for the job. "We're looking for a crate of electric gems. Can you sense them for us please?" Electra looked at Sub, then back to Dan before nodding. She darted off, hopping from crate to crate, stopping on a few briefly. Electra put her ear against one, as if trying to hear a voice. "Pi, Pichu!" she hopped up and down on a crate.

"I guess being sensitive to electricty, even your own helps" Dan smirked. Electra heard this and sent a small Thundershock at a crate beside Dan. The young trainer jumped a bit before making his way over to the crate. 'Apparently emotionally aswell' Electra smiled as she laid on Sub's head. It was her favorite spot lay on people. Dan peered into the crate, observing the large gem. "What do you planned for this thing?" he asked curiously.

"Got it. Zapdos Heart, huh?" He never put any thought into how the base was powered. It even has a cool name. "Pichu pi chu chu..." Electra squeaked as she started playing in Sub's hair. "Well then, we just have to find a thunderstorm to recharge the Zapdos Heart. Sounds simple" Dan smiled.

"Ah, I see" Dan says as he returns Electra to her pokeball. In the same instant, he brought out Shark. "Ground types would be ideal for this situation then" he smiled. Shark simply yawned as he looked around.

Dan and Shark gazed at the stone as they entered the room cautiously. "Carful not to trip on any wires" Dan warned his dragon, only to nearly trip on one himself. He would have fell if it wasn't for Shark grabbing the back of his shirt. "Uh, thanks buddy." Shark nodded as he stared at the gem. Dan could feel Electra's pokeball shaking, he might have to switch her out later.

"You mind may, at least to some, be an alright place to be within. At the very least, one might be able to describe it. A team of scholars, each of them also being accomplished psychics with the Pokemon to match, wouldn't be able to explain any part of Sub's mind without becoming utterly insane at first glance." Sol explained, only to look towards Hawk. "As for any fire throwing. The easiest way to explain it is as a manifestation of chi, or life force. There isn't much on the world without some sort of chi, though the exact element varies. A hybrid can utilize it better than a human, but a Pokemon can perform even better than we can. Though, you may have already known that, and I apologize for such a long explanation aside... in any case, someone like Night or myself, being Fire-type hybrids, are more attuned to that particular element. It makes it easier for us to draw from our own reserves, as well as what may already be around, to form the flames we send. A Pokemon would perform the attack in similar fashion, at least as far as the gathering and release process goes."

It would be at that very moment that Ryan would walk in, shirt slung over one shoulder, gourd over the other. He would hear Night and just blink for a few moments. "right, came in on the wrong end of that conversation." he says.

As he turns from Sol and Night, he slides the gourd off his shoulder and into his left hand via it's strap. He would remove his shirt from his shoulder and into his right hand as he was planning to toss it into his room. This would reveal something interesting on Ryan's back. Although quite faded, there were three scars that ran the length of his back from his left shoulder to his right hip. They were also all parallel to one another.

"Challenge accepted," Night said, removing her arm from Sol's shoulders to cross in front of her, "I will find a way to corrupt you, Turkey-butt."

She didn't really take much notice of Ryan, yet. It wasn't until he commented on the conversation that she sent a small wink his way, "No such thing as the 'wrong end' of a conversation. It's all about timing."
