Ive had no problems with the gestalt personally.
It allows for more customization for characters.
And Single class characters have often enough been your guys' bane.

Dover is the only one I find trouble with. But with a bit better planning I can reign in his power level.

Dropping gestalt is only a half hearted suggestion, I only made it because of all the options that it gave Dover to be more powerful. Personally I love it because it allows me to make a character closer to the one I have in my head (which is often limited by the abilities of a single class.) Case in point I want to make a ranger closer to Aragorn from LOTR. Some skill with a bow but not a bowcentric person. Now I can just take fighter get a bunch of melee feats and still have the ranger traits that I wanted.

I'm glad you werent serious about it.
My characters arent over powered despite the Gestalt. I mean, look at how Yume handled herself against Moe.
It was a relatively even battle.

I was the one who wanted for this campaign remember? Hell I am still struggling with my oldest foe in the game, wanting more skill points for my skills based character. It's relatively even, just giving you options. Although as far as power is concerned Dover figuring out the Tome of Battle was bad as far as power issues was concerned.

I probably shouldnt have allowed it, but its too late now.

Too late until he dies. Then you can start to not let it be used. Also just ban it in a western campaign considering all the practitioners were over in Xia-Nippon.

Nothing makes me more chipper than designing an economic system based around mining as a dwarf. Steel and Mythril will soon find themselves extremely expensive, should war upset the region...

The power of economics coupled with a sheerly overpowered defensive grid of outposts fitted with ballista towers has always made me somewhat giddy.

Nothing in particular in reference to the guild. Just something cooking on a back burner.
