My plan is to buy a little gerbil, or two, when I finally move out into an appartment. I really don't want to have to deal with anything larger than in such a small enviroment. Most of my pets have hard large houses and yards to explore.
At one point in my life I will have a pair of ferrest dammit. I have wanted one ever since I was a little kid and one of my mom's friends had one. I use to play with it when we visited it. It was so smart and cute. crying We'd play fetch and hide-n-seek the entire time my mom and her friend chatted.

I don't think they would be too hard to keep in your apartment (if they are allowed). But, I can understand you not wanting something that big and going for a little desk pet. whee

My kitty, Doormat is doing really badly. I haven't been home for 8 days and the last time I saw him, one of his forelegs had gone completely numb and he couldn't walk on it anymore. He's also very skinny and has no appetite. I'm going home soon to discuss what to do with him. I'm not one to spend a lot oon prolonging my pets lives. I don't like seeing them forced through pain when they're just being kept alive for the owner's sake. If he doesn't look so bad, then I'll get some medication for his renal failure, but counting on how I saw him last week, I think it's time

Thats the trouble with pets. They die to quickly for our poor human hearts. neutral
I once had two parakeets, and they both died. The two starved to death.
they were wild, and i'd try my best to make them relax around me. I'd keep them in my room, in sight of me, and i'd never make eye contact. i'd speak softly to them, and i left a nightlight on for them,because they get scared.
However, they were so terrified, they didn't eat the entire time, even when i was gone. they died later that week.
So i've sworn off birds, and small animals.
However, people that can hold interest, bond, and care for them, i respect. it takes a special person to care for birds.
--- As for my pets; goliath is going to the vet tonight. i'll tell you all how hes doing later.
wink we are also going to contact Goliaths' breeder, Carol, about ferrets. heart you know, we'll end up with 10! --- As for ME, i'm very sick feeling again, im tired and panting because i can't get enough oxygen. I'm going to the G.I. specialist on friday morning, and im a little scared. --- In artistic news, i'm working mainly on paper now, and i'm working on a project i'm a bit nervous of.
For Rainey, i'm working on black paper with colored pencils. I'm doing a full background, with trees which I was never good with. I'm doing a background, and a foreground, aswell as two charecters. Rainey helped me out a little while back, and i'm so thankful, a project that i can't normaly finish, is easy because I feel she deserves it. :}
As for art; well.. im getting new prismas, to add to the millions i have. we're getting a set of 250. :}

Hey, this is just meant to be a place to make life annoucments, not to get attention. Making statements like that just makes you look like an attention whore.
Life sucks and s**t happens. You deal with it and move on.

We're going to finish out the pain meds we got for him and then at the end, we will see.

Leyla Giselle I find it strangely sad that I get more comments, and have more of a fanbase on DA than on FA when it comes to my furry art. It's a bit disheartening to know that the work I put so much effort into isn't appreciated by the people it was made for. Onto good news. My boyfriend paid for a light box, 36 set of Prismacolor scholar pencils, and a set of pens for me. :3 welcome to my world. I really don't have a fanbase on DA or FA..In fact, on almost any art sites. The guild seems to be the place where I'm well known and maybe VCL.

Right now on Animal Planet, they're talking about mantises again. Do the males really have a second smaller brain in their genitals?... They say it's so they can go on mating after they've been decaptitated by the female.. That's really neat. I want to post pictures of my babies, but they're completely outdoors cats and don't like being photographed.. I've got one picture of Dusty in the recycle bin, and one of Shadow sleeping on her head (!), but that's about it.. They're borther and sister, so they usually hang out together and ignore the rest of us.. Recently, though, they've been really needy because we went away camping for a week.. they were fine on food since they hunt for themselves and rarely eat their catfood, but I guess they were freaked out that we weren't THERE. So Shadow, who's normal really timid, has been mewling and begging for tummy rubs, which she hasn't done since she was a kitten, and Dusty hasn't been so "b***h, feed me and leave" as much as he usually is. It's strange. Also, Shadow and my dog Missy (black lab) are gal pals. :3 It's really kind of amusing. This biggish lab laying in the shade, with this little blue cat curled up next to her.. (blue being slate-grey, not like blue-blue o_o wink I might have a picture somewhere.. I'll edit-post them here if I find my pictures. biggrin PICTURES: Dusty reclines in the recycle bin.Dusty reclines regally on his adopted bed of screening.Shadow sleeps on her head.Low quality picture of best friends: Shadow and Missy.

No dear, that's humans. rofl XD I think it is safe to say it goes for all males. xd On another note, yes male mantises actually have a second brain, just in case their lovely lady decides to have some brain food during the act.
