Ryukai suddenly became warm again. He opened his eyes slowly. "My... I'm... Still alive..." He sat up. "Peace... So that's what it's like..."

Charity felt the warmth spread back into his hand that was in hers. She looked at him from where she was sitting at.

Minaki stopped chasing her when she felt that Ryukai was about to kiss Charity and she smiled. Her tail twitched and her ears were perked up listening for his next move. The cherry blossom was still in her hair.
