Completely unlike The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. True some of the most recent work sucked balls.
*cough*TheZephyrSong*cough*
RHCP has been around since the 84, but it was not until 89 album Mother's Milk did they make it big. Most people will say that they have only 6 albums, but they really have 9. They also have done an EP and two best of albums.
Self Titled (84) Freaky Styley (85) The Uplift Mofo Party Plan (87) The Abbey Road E.P. (8 cool Mother's Milk (89) Blood Sugar Sex Magik (91) What Hit's? (92) One Hot Minute (95) Best Of Red Hot Chilli Peppers (97) Californication (99) By The Way (02) Greatest Hits (05)
They are more of a bunch of whores than I thought they were.

Yeah, but the Chilli willies have just kept on going. Like, you can't say that they are typically one era of music because they are constantly making new music and evolving.
Where as Pearl Jam still sound like 90's rock. Plus they haven't had a new album since what, 98? WHY ARE THEY STILL HERE? Oh it alludes me.
But yeah, there's no denying the greatness that is the Chilli Peppers. Even though yes, some of their new stuff has sucked, there is something that is just ulitmatley cool about them.
You just can't not like them. Even if you're not a huge fan, you can't just say "Hey, Chilli Peppers suck." Because really, they don't.

Ugh, I don't know what I have in the way of Aussie bands, quite a bit I imagine. The Butterfly Effect - Begins Here, Crave (Single), The Butterfly Effect (EP) Thirsty Merc - Self Titled Glasshouse - Nothing Comes of Thinking (EP) Repeat Offender - Tour Album 2005 The Cat Empire - Self Titled, Two Shoes Jet - Get Born John Butler Trio - Sunrise Over Sea Dr Octopus - Monaco Street Crime Syndicate (EP) Cold Chisel - Chisel Jon English - English History II
That's all I can find for the moment.
As for the most inspirational bands, Bad Religion is mine, completely changed my way of thinking.

Hmmn. I don't think I'd ever want to be in a band.
Along with the fact that as soon as I pick up an instrument, I become some sort of demented fool, I'm quite happy with appreciating music, rather than making it.
Plus, girls in bands kinda s**t me. A bit like female comedians... you know? They think they're fantastic but really they're just annoying and talk about periods too much.
...Unless they actually are cool, rather than just pretending to be cool. Like the girls in The Go! Team. They're fully fantastic. Lots of fun.
But bands like The Donnas s**t me.

Shut up, The Donnas are hot..... Ohok, I get what you mean.
I saw they, sort of, at BDO and they were not too bad live. Better then recorder. You could see them "bouncing" around the stage.
I remember one girl band were the support act of Incubus on the "A Crow Left Of The Murder Tour." They sucked hardcoridly and the only applause they got was for leaving the stage.
I also saw Youth Group as the support act of The Music. They sucked. The Music rocked like nothing I had ever heard before. But Youth Group sucked. I hate them and their version of "Forever Young."
I am sick of hearing that song!

I like Youth Group... and I like their version of Forever Young xp But I haven't heard it to death because I listen to decent radio domokun
The only bands (that I can think of) That I like which are all girl/have girl as lead singer/have some members females are:
The Go! Team The B-52s xp Polyphonic Spree The Breeders The Distillers The Pixies Tegan and Sarah
And that's about all I have in my collection. I don't really like many female solo artists either... I like Bjork and sometimes Tori Amos. Seriously can't think of any more right now.
Guys are just better at making decent music! Yes, there's a million girls out there with beautiful voices, but the majority of their songs are awful, boring, whining or pretending to be too cool.
I'd say about 96% of my music collection is made by males/mainly male bands.

I do not listen to the radio. I hear it on tv, when I am walking past shops and blaring from our kitchen.

I am just glad that I get to work early most morning. That way I can flood my brain with what ever cd I threw into my bag. Today, it was Rammstein's Rosenrot. Tuesday, Rammstein's Reise Reise. I am thinking that for friday morning, I am going to have Dropkick Murphys' Do Or Die or Ramstein's Reise Reise cranking.
It is the only way that I do not go insane from listening to the crap management put on. There is some spanish cd- all s**t, a Kenny G album- which I am going to burn, and a Celin Dion mis cd- which I have hidden in the owner's bag.

Atmosphere are a rap/hip-hop crew from America. And don't cringe just because I said hip-hop gonk
They're really, really good. Alot of indipendant hip-hop is good, but people always gonk at it anyway, because they're used to the crap pumped out of commercial radio/tv stations.
Anyway, they're probably the best group of their genre that I know of. They make really good music.
On another note - the new Chilli Peppers song. Do you like it? I do. Also, the best thing about the Chilli Peppers is that they're good friends with The Mars Volta xp
