Arthur swore. Oh, what he would give for a gun right now. He made a quick few steps back and held the knife at waist level, just waiting for an opportunity to present itself. Whatever it was, he intended to...

...well, actually, probably run away. But the knife was useful.

Heny was about to answer, then the stuff started.
"Oh, look, see? I told you. I <********> told you." He stood in the door, his knife ready.

Many of the ghosts ran the opposite direction, one was sent flying from behind the curtain, another tripped in the middle of the stage.
He flipped to his back and began to sprawl away, but was smashed into the ground by...

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing could be seen attacking these people, but the sounds could be heard.

The man on the ground struggled before being ripped apart.
All of the remaining ghosts rushed out of the room through the many doors, simply rushing through them after they were "opened".
Many were pulled back before they could make it and slammed into walls, where they lay motionless after they fell.

Inhuman sounds could be heard.

After a short but brutal amount of time, all of the ghosts seemed to be "dead" and the sounds left.

Arthur stumbled back in horror as the ghosts were torn to pieces. What was going on here?! What was attacking these people? Was it invisible? Was that why they couldn't see it? What kind of ghosts were these?

Then he remembered. Smoke and mirrors. His breathing slowed. The only question that remained was what kind of sick freak would make this sort of trick? It was very well done... how? How could it be done so well?

There was silence for a moment, and then, one by one, the ghosts began to stand up, ones that were torn apart pulled themselves together and stood.
For the first time, they seemed to be aware of the group, but most of them were too confused to confront them.
A woman made her way to them, walking through the railing, "Who...who are you? Where am I?" she asked, she seemed confused but suddenly snapped out of it.
"Wait! I remember now! What are you doing here! Leave! Before you become like us." she seemed almost hysterical.

Her hand made her way up to her head, "No...not again." she seemed to struggle for a moment but suddenly relaxed, all the others seemed to suffer a similar fate.

Walking, synchronized with each other, they all made their way to their previous places that they were when the group first entered and began their loop once more.

Something moved on the chandelier up above.

Arthur paled visibly. "Let's get out of here," he suggested and began to back out, looking up at the chandelier. He backed up rather quickly, although it might be needless to mention such a thing.

Ro backpedaled alongside Arthur.

The figured jumped down from the chandelier and landed gracefully, taking a knee as it did.
It stood, slowly, and began to walk towards the group, showing no signs of hostile nature.

The figure appeared to be stitched together from many different skins of many different hues and textures, a few patches seemed to be decaying.
There were a series of short, spike-like extensions on the top of it's head and it's eyes were a deep gray and seemed to be at peace.
It had no mouth, the spot where it should have been was covered by a single, olive green piece of flesh.

It wore brown leather straps with large buckles on it's arms, legs, and chest and leather boots.

He stopped before the group and bowed slightly, "Nice to finally meet you, the name's Carpenter." he said, his voice was young and smooth, his tone deep, but not too deep.

Henry raised an eyebrow, but he didn't have a problem with the newcomer. Carpenter seemed pretty capable, to say the least.
Then Henry got another tingle at the base of his neck. He felt himself drawn to look to his right, down the hall. The window there seemed to suddenly be very important to him.
Leaving the others to talk, he made his way slowly down the hall. He made it to the window and pushed it open dreamily, looking out. His eyes widened.
"Guys? You might want to see this..."

Andreas followed him to the wall. "What's up- Oh. Well now." He was trying not to compare Carpenter to a zombie in the meanwhile.

Arthur curled his lip slightly, keeping his eye on Carpenter. "Nice costume," he complimented, letting his knife arm fall. More or less. He was still firmly gripping it and his body was still sort of tense, although he did seem to be relaxing. He kept the flashlight up by his head, pointing it at Carpenter, although it was turned off.

Out of curiosity, he (pretending it was accidental) hit the button on the Maglight and flashed Carpenter to see what his reaction would be.

"Right...costume..." Carpenter said, shaking his head. His voice seemed to come from everywhere at once.

He squinted his eyes (as anyone that appreciated their eyesight would naturally do) and casually shielded his eyes with his right forearm when Arthur shone his light.

The nails on his hands were black and extended about an inch from his fingertips and came to a dangerous point.

Carpenter showed no sign of flipping out because of the light.

Arthur blinked and when his eyes opened again, Carpenter was gone.

Arthur felt a hand wrap around his shoulders from his left. He turned to see Carpenter wagging a finger before lowering Arthur's flashing with his left hand, the one that wasn't around Arthur's shoulders.

"You know, it's rude to point a flashlight in someone's eyes, you could cause some serious damage to their eyes." he said, his tone shifting to a somewhat mocking attitude, "And this ain't no costume, kid, it's the real deal."

"Who...what are you?" Ro asked, more interested in Carpenter than the window.

Speaking of the window, outside of the open window Henry and Andreas witnessed something very strange (who would've guess?).

Instead of the small town of Corona, as it was when they first entered the estate, the landscape had been completely altered.

No longer Corona, the immediate landscape outside of the estate was a variety of bright hues, green, red, blue, yellow, orange, all colors of grass spreading across the land.

Strange trees could be seen in the distance, and massive, spotted mushrooms of varying colors. Flowers of unknown species dotted the fields, and a few, indiscernible creatures could be seen moving through the tall grass.

Even further in the distance were many more varying landscapes, ranging from a land of crystal to an impossibly large factory spewing clouds of black smoke from it's smokestacks.

It was simply amazing.

((of course he can! eheh hes a MAN! XD (a rather girly man, but that's alright ;D) hee of course XD I'm pretty sure the majority of people could take her now, shes pretty much almost ded...XD))

He grunted again, attempting to push her off. He got her a few inches from him, when she threw herself at him again. "Ah!" he exclaimed, sliding down the wall with her following closely. He grabbed her shoulders and pushed them away, and just as she was about to rip his neck out he shifted his weight sideways and threw her off with as much force as he could possibly muster. He scrambled upwards, his breathing heavy by now, and looked at her, fear encompassing his being, and adrenaline giving him strength. He pressed himself against the wall, worried she would procure a weapon he couldn't defend against.

"Welcome to the Rabbit Hole, Alice, cause I think we're in Wonderland," Henry murmured, staring around in amazement.

The woman procured no weapon and was breathing pretty heavily.
She made no move, yet.
