Faye growled and held Oburos close to her rubbing her cheek against his for some reason tears were rolling down her cheeks. She didn't know if he was saying that he truly acknowledged that they were only for each other or he was saying it just to calm her down. She didn't know what to think any more.

Oburos noticed the tears and quickly shifted her in his grip, gently kissing the tears away. "Shh. Don't cry." he said softly, smiling a little. "Shh . . . why are you crying?" he asked. Now that the threat was gone, his restraint was slipping and his inner fae was making itself quite known. "I don't like it when you cry . . ." he whispered, planting kisses that trailed down her jaw and neck.

"It's so high." Faye whined holding him close. "It's scary up here." Her own fae self and her lycan self were responding strongly to his kisses and she pulled him closer giving a slight moan. "I don't like heights."

Oburos smiled and then lowered them down to the ground again. "There. All better." he said, setting her down so he could wipe her eyes. "No more tears." he whispered to her before catching her lips in his own.

Faye gave a little yelp of surprise before throwing herself into the kiss pulling him in close the full moon hadn't even begun to rise yet she could feel her instincts telling her things. Her eyes kept flickering from a dark emerald green to an ice blue over and over as her fae and wolf side were battling it out to take him.

Oburos chuckled into the kiss and pulled her down with him to the ground, wanting to get even closer to her.

Faye followed him down she could feel things going on that she didn't feel the first time. She needed to get control of herself but she could literally sense the full moon rising. She held Oburos close feeling her claws grow but not like they usually do. "Oburos..." She panted hard. "Oburos something's happening to me." She gave a yelp as she felt her bones change.

Oburos blinked and then looked at the sky. Some rational part of him that was still there put the pieces together and he quickly got himself out from under Faye. "Faye . . . it's your werewolf side. Don't fight it. You're going to be fine." he said softly, trying to keep her calm.

Faye gave a cry as pain radiated through her body. Panic threatened to overwhelm her as she felt everything in her body shudder. "I can't...it hurts...it hurts!" She sobbed.

Oburos shook his head and he rubbed her back, trying to take the pain away. "It's okay. It'll be over soon." he said softly before slipping into the ancient language, trying to soothe her.

Faye gave a wordless cry as she felt foreign fangs grow her vision wavered as she felt her body bulk out.

What the result became was not a conventional werewolf. It was more like a phantom of a werewolf instead of the teeth and fur Faye was still herself but...different like every part of her had grown into a shade. She gave a growl and pulled at her hair she looked like she was trying to take it all off. She gave another howl and threw herself at a tree.

"Faye! Faye stop!" Oburos cried, trying to catch her and stop her from hurting herself. "Faye, it's okay. It's okay." he said after finally catching her around the midsection, pulling her back against his chest. "It's okay. Shh . . ." he said, not understanding what was going on with her, a little scared for her.

Voices raced around her head so loud so fast she felt like she was going insane! Nothing was stopping the voices. No pain could shut them out. A new voice cut through them all like a knife. She curled against this warm feeling and started crying again. His voice slowly silencing the thousands of others demanding her attention. "So many voices." She growled. Even her voice sounded distorted.

Oburos held her close and rocked her back and forth. "Shh. Focus on my voice, Faye. I'm here. You're safe. You are with me. I love you." he whispered in her ear. It was Oburos's inner fae, Oburos had long since blacked out, but his inner fae knew what she wanted, what he wanted, and he would do anything to make Faye happy.

Faye curled against him only hearing the sound not the words. She knew what she wanted but she was scared of herself like this. Scared she'd break him...or worse...kill him. She couldn't trust herself until the moon set.
