Switching the basket between his hands, just to give his arm a rest. "Mermaid? Ah. That would explain the natural comfort" Alistar said with a smile and tilt of the head. Alistar retreated into his mind as the woman expressed who search for true love. "This town is rumored in having the ability to bless others with true love..." Alistae said as he turned and studied the store more and even peered out the window. "I'm simply a wandering soul. I somehow was pulled to this city...as if it called me here" Alistar explains almost poetically. The siren then gave a small laugh. "Sorry for the cryptic and deep expression..." Alistar Nikkos Wandering Siren Wallet:200---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Friendship is always a great thing to have in your corner" Alistar said happily to Aries. Well wasn't he having a great first week in this town. Scoring a job his second day and now he already made an acquaintance. Alistar hadn't noticed how full his basket had gotten. Olive oil, a bag of sugar, vanilla extract, some bread, eggs, milk and butter. Alistar looked down to his basket in awe. He didn't expect to finish his small shopping so quickly. "Well then, didn't think I would grab all that I needed so quickly" Alistar laughed a bit to Aries. The siren grabbed two more things. A bag of apples and a bag of grapes. "We must do this again! Or maybe explore the town together sometime? I didn't imagine making a friend so quickly. Especially one so close to kin" Alistar said to Aries with a warm and welcoming smile. He truly meant every word he said to her. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bank: 800 Outfit I'm Wearing: Jacket/Sun Hat/Pants BootsJob: Desk Clerk Mood/Health:Content/Healthy Thoughts:Let's see..Olive oil..where are you? Alistar Nikkos Wandering Siren Wallet:$165---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"this is your second? This would be my fourth" Alistar smiled as they strolled to the cashiers section together. Alistar luckily was in the self checkout section. He unloaded his basket, scanning the items and bagging them as instructed. Pressing a few of the touch screen buttons Alistar read his total. "$35.00 even. Not bad" the siren mused reaching for his wallet. The siren inserted the correct amount of money into the cash slot. Giving a small joyful hum as he threw the printed receipt into one of his bags. Alistar turned to Aries smiling sweetly. "Well,Miss McCoy, it was a pleasure meeting you! Hopefully we can meet up soon?" Alistar cheerfully questioned as he used both his hands to hold onto his bags. Not like he needed too. β β Rigel 'Jax' Falkov Dragonkin βIt is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.β β ββ βββ ββββ βββββ ββββββ βββββββ
I'm feeling: Hungry, Indifferent | I'm with: No One | I'm wearing: Casual | I have feelings for: No One | I have: $1000
Camil was already gone by the time Rigel woke up. The house was as dark as it was at night with the tinted glass windows installed. There were hardly any light within the house, nearly impossible for people with normal eyesight to properly navigate about. It was no wonder he was able to sleep through the day without any problems. There were light switches installed, of course, except his brother never bothered to use it. Or rather, he didn't have to use it. It was understandable considering how the condition of his eyes had worsened over the many years. Rigel never understood what it was like to be diagnosed with monochromacy, what it was like to live in a silent world of black and white, with shades of grey in between but even so, the music Camil writes, the way he played them made his world seem so colourful. They were so full of energy as if he was in a whole new world altogether. It was one of the aspects Rigel respected very much. However, he remembered the tinge of worry that lingered about his chest when he arrived yesterday. It was quite a long walk up to where he lived, the streets were dark, save the few streetlights that illuminated the area. As always, there were little to no one at all, void of any souls and it worried the hairdresser to the point of no return. He couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if Camil were to collapse in the middle of the road when no one was around, what would happen if something were to happen to him in this house. He knew full-well his brother was never the type of person to open up to people, especially after the many years he spent isolating himself from any sort of interaction. He didn't trust them enough to speak and he most definitely didn't trust him enough to entrust himself to them. Rigel was the only person Camil ever confided in when he had problems, same goes for Rigel, vice versa. They were two peas in a pod, inseparable since birth. He propped his torso up on his elbow, surprised to find himself covered with a blanket on the couch with a glass of water prepared for him by the table. He ran his fingers through his messy bed head, brushing his hair backwards, revealing the burnt scar upon his right eye. Rigel felt the rough skin when his palm brushed against his face and his movements came to a stop. Oh, Aria. he fiddled with his wedding ring, a pained expression flashing across his features for a split second before it returned to normal. He froze when he places his eye patch back on his head. Something was a little off today. There was a heavy feeling in his chest, as if something bad had happened. His brother would usually leave him something to eat before he heads out but this time around, there were no notes, no breakfast, nothing. Had something happened to him while he was asleep? Rigel got off the couch and headed into the kitchen, golden orbs taking a quick scan around the area to search for any signs of items his brother might have left him. Still nothing. There was a heavy feeling within his chest and he knew something was off, that something had gone terribly wrong. Before he started to panic over his brother's well-being, he opened the fridge and it was then, his eyes widened, as if he had discovered the answer to the universe.
"So there's no food-.. No wonder! And here I thought you might have collapsed somewhere. Silly me." he crossed his arms and shook his head. Just like that, everything was brushed off with a single assumption, which is one of the main reasions he was never trusted when it came to emergencies. If an apocalypse were to ever take place, he'd either be the first to perish, or he'd be the strangely lucky idiot that somehow miraculously survived the many waves of attack. What a strange man he was.
---------------------------------
Now, he found himself rummaging through the aisles in the local grocery store after taking a good morning shower, desperately searching for the finest items this establishment had to offer. He carried baskets in his hands that were filled with nothing but cabbages, and another basket filled with strawberries where he had raided from the fruits section earlier. A silly grin was plastered upon his face as he turned his head to glance at the people who were staring at him in disbelief. He returned their gaze, eventually staring until they looked away in discomfort. "Can't a man love his veggies?" he asked and in return, they walked away and decided it was best to leave an insane man be while he, too, carried himself over to where they stashed their tomatoes. He stood in the center of the aisle, his sight filled with a glorious shade of bright red and a tinge of green. It looked so heavenly it nearly moved him to tears. The giant, wasting no time at all, squeezed through the crowd and fought for his beloved redness, ignoring whatever sort of complains he was receiving. He picked them out one by one, knowing which one was in good condition with just a glance. He'd place the tomatoes back if there was even a single flaw upon its skin. He needed them to be absolutely perfect for his lunch.

ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ βββ¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬This particular day Zara was feeling out of sorts. She's been busying herself with housework, separating herself from the outside world, and ultimately worrying her brother with her new found antisocial behavior. It was just yesterday that she had received a call offering her a job as a burlesque performer and Zara found a whole new wave on energy to burn. But instead of going out to do her usual clothes shopping and dessert dining, Zara continued her domestic chores and went out for groceries instead...
The siren pulled up with a shopping cart by the tomatoes, grabbing a small baggy to collect the fruit in. Tucking a blonde lock behind her ear, Zara found herself standing next to a rather peculiar man enthusiastically collecting a lot more tomatoes than possibly necessary. In the slightest hesitation, Zara reached a small, manicured hand out for a tomato, which the man coincidentally reached out and beat her to. Instead of getting hold on the tomato, she was holding his hand. "... oh, sorry..." she quickly pulled her hand back, letting out a little huff accompanied by a pout, and instead picked up another one to her liking.β’ β’ β’ β’ β’Κα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Ι΄ Grocery Store || α΄‘Ιͺα΄Κ no one || α΄α΄α΄α΄α΄Ι΄α΄ $1000 sα΄α΄α΄α΄s single || α΄α΄α΄α΄

He was still carefully picking out his tomatoes after a solid twenty minutes, his gaze as focused as ever as he scanned the remaining ones. What was he going to cook for lunch and dinner? Roasted cabbage with bacon sounds like a good choice. Cabbage slaw and ginger tahini dressing seems to be one of the few dishes he was good at making so Rigel decided to pop it into the list of things he'll be preparing for their meals today. However, these few things in the basket didn't seem to sate the excitement he was feeling at the moment. These weren't enough. He wanted to prepare a feast.
"You know I hate tomatoes, Rigel." he was often told by Camil but silly Rigel had always interpreted it as "It's delicious, Rigel! You're a masterchef!"
With a gleeful smile on his face, he reached out and held a tomato in hand, however, it seems a person had mistook his hand for one of the many tomatoes they had in stock. A feminine voice emerged beside him and he turned his head to the sight, scanning the area in confusion as he searched for who exactly it was that spoke to him. It was then, his gaze flicked downwards, catching a glimpse of the top of her blonde head. "Oh, you're so small I hardly noticed you-" he stated bluntly. She had sapphire orbs, smooth porcelain features that many would fall for but for Rigel, her face wasn't the thing that caught his attention. She had silky blonde locks that shone beneath the lights. They were smooth with hardly any split ends at all. In his eyes, her hair was perfection. One of the most beautiful ones he has ever seen. With that, he simply dropped everything he held in hand and took a small lock of her hair in his hands, his expression filled with nothing but pure bliss as he stared at the short locks of perfection. "You hair is absolutely perfect- They're silky, so soft, so.. smooth. What have I done for the heavens to bless me with such perfection!" he cooed, unwilling to let go of the hair he kept within the confinements of his finger. He crouched down to her level, his features showing nothing but excitement as he gazed into her sapphire orbs.
"Where is your mother, little girl? I'd love to get her permission to give you a quick haircut!"

ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ βββ¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬Thereafter Zara paid the man no mind. She picked five perfect tomatoes and tied the bag in a delicate knot. The siren was in the process of gently placing it in the cart and walking off, but the man's voice perked her ears - and quite frankly - ticked her off. She looked up at him, shaking her head with a scoff, "Funny." she replied, "Hones -" did he just... crouch in front of her?
Flustered, Zara's body stiffened with rising frustration. He was mocking her! The man's boldness hadn't stopped their either! He took her hair in his hands, touching her without her permission! Zara swat his hands away agitatedly, "Don't touch me!" she hissed, but he was rather persistent in doing so anyways.
"Where is your mother, little girl? I'd love to get her permission to give you a quick haircut!"
"Mother?!" Zara practically shrieked, giving the man one good smack on the shoulder. "Little girl?! Little girl!" she repeated, her little body trembling with anger. "I should - oh I should -!" Zara lifted her hands up as if she were to strangle him, but kept her distance. He was a dunce! A moron! A fool! She shouldn't have stepped out... she should have kept herself in... better being a shut in than being teased by a man like this.β’ β’ β’ β’ β’Κα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Ι΄ Grocery Store || α΄‘Ιͺα΄Κ a smartass || α΄α΄α΄α΄α΄Ι΄α΄ $1000 sα΄α΄α΄α΄s single || α΄α΄α΄α΄

He didn't seem to pick up on the signs that the woman wanted nothing to do with him, not even with the hard slap he received on his hand. Most of the time, he would brush off their emotions as if it were nothing at all but in reality, Rigel meant no harm. He was just a fairly idiotic and straightforward man who usually interprets the opposite of what they meant.
As dense as he may be, he still understood facial expressions in the least. Thank goodness! "Hm? You seem fairly agitated. Are you alright? Are you a lost child?" he would ask as concern and worry start to cloud his chiseled features. It was only then, he paid attention to her appearance. She wore.. jeans with relatively large holes on them. Large enough to fit a person. His golden orbs widened in horror and he grabbed her by the shoulders, obviously shaken by the sight of the jeans she wore. "You weren't attacked, were you?! Have you no money to buy proper pants? Would you like me to lend you some?" he asked but through her gestures that followed after, Rigel quickly released her shoulders from his strong grip, wincing in pain at the solid smack he received on the shoulder.
He would gaze at her with confusion as she seemed to boil with fury. For a split second, he noticed the anger that flickered within her sapphire irises but as usual, he brushed it off as it were just a mere hallucination. He straightened up, gazing down at the woman as she attempted to strangle him with the tiny hands of hers. "Did I say something wrong? Are you perhaps angry at me?" he asked, pointing his index finger at himself. Had he done something to anger this person? "Oh, don't be so mean. I'm sure we'd be pretty good friends. I mix pretty well with children, just so y'know.

ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ ββ βββ¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬Hopeless! The man was hopeless, and might as well had an eyesight deficiency. It's as if he couldn't pick up the very obvious distraught he was putting Zara through, and quite frankly the siren's heart was much too frail to have her blood pressure rise and quickly as he was making it. And as she fumed and cursed in front of him, he still wasn't catching on. "The nerve! The nerve!" Zara was on the verge of throwing a tantrum. But truthfully, that wouldn't be much help to the child-like image he already had of her. "I'm not lost! You're lost! You've lost your sanity! Are you mad?" She cried. It was moments like this she wished Alexander was around. Zara wasn't going to back away - in fact, she never backed down from a fight (that she usually starts). And right now, she was awful close to giving him another slap.
Suddenly, the man grabbed her by the shoulders - his grip a little too tight, she wouldn't be at all surprised if she bruised - staring at her with an abrupt change in mood. Attacked? What was he talking about attacked?! "The only one attacking me is you!" At this point, Zara was flustered, flushed and fairly sick of this man, "I just wanted tomatoes!" She whimpered, somewhat explaining why she was mad at him.
"Oh, don't be so mean. I'm sure we'd be pretty good friends. I mix pretty well with children, just so y'know."
Zara pounded her small fists on his shoulder, stomping her foot while she was at it; ultimately throwing a tantrum, "I'm ******** 20 years old for God's Sake! I've been cursed... this is a curse... I shouldn't have left home...!" she pouted and whined. Now she was definitely acting like a child.β’ β’ β’ β’ β’Κα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Ι΄ Grocery Store || α΄‘Ιͺα΄Κ a Bully || α΄α΄α΄α΄α΄Ι΄α΄ $1000 sα΄α΄α΄α΄s Single || α΄α΄α΄α΄
