"He's right you know. You may be the President back on Earth, but you're just a prisoner here." The sound of the door's lock echoed in the short silence.

"Both break away groups have attack the escort and defense forces around the shipyard. The President's disappearance is your greatest concern right now, not that you are to blame but to prevent any conflict from the Earth Alliance." The Captain was interrupted by the docking announcement before he continued. "We will search in case the president was left on the shipyard as I'm sure a few may have been in the confusion. You, your staff and the Earth Alliance officials will be transported back to your escort ships. For now, please rejoin your associates."
Hazuko pulled himself off the medbay, limping over an internship com to contact the bridge. "Bridge, this is Hazuko. Contact the Zaft and OMNI ships, ask them to send transport shuttles and mobile suits for their representatives. I'm heading down to the hangar for the Gundam pilots, have the security team in normal suits once I reach there. We don't know what areas are breached until we see them." After confirming, Hazuko replaced the device and proceeded to the elevator.

Before the advent of the M1 Astray, he was proud of the Orb's military might and felt it could defend against ZAFT or the Earth Forces without mobile suits. When the invasion of Orb happened, he was proven wrong and focused on generating his own anti-mobile suits tactics. Some of which were successful, and he was promoted to Commander by the end of the second war. With Haru's experience, the recommendation was accepted.
Unlike his subordinate, Haru is a very serious and strict military commander. While he knows about the cost of war, he also believes war is sometimes a necessary evil. He holds a dislike for the Earth Alliance and ZAFT after each invasion on the Orb homeland. He also smokes often and has an occasional drink for celebrations. With his knowledge of the previous major gundam projects, he was the biggest supporter and influence on Project H(inode), and remained paranoid all the way to the launch ceremony. Appearance:

Once he hit the other side of the hangar, Ryuu calmed down enough to where the shaking stopped. As a Coordinator, he was advanced in schooling, but was ridiculed by natural children and their parents who condoned coordinators. He joined the military of Orb sometime after the events of Bloody Valentine in fear of Orb's inclusion as the war dragged on. While he was acceptable as an Astray pilot, his suit was destroyed on the first day of fighting and he choose to become a crewmen instead. Serving with a man named Hazuko, he was able to survive the first and second Bloody Valentine wars. He gained the rank of Lieutenant with Hazuko's personal request for him to be his XO on the Uzumi Nara.
Ryuu believes deeply in Orb's motto, but also thinks if someone has the ability to help others, they should whether it involves them or not. With the shock of his experience, he gets shaky when piloting a mobile suit. He also holds a grudge against Blue Cosmos for his parent's death. "Ah, sir. The Sasu was fine, but...I've always been more of a general purpose pilot. The Sasu is highly specialized, and I must confess that I have some trouble in certain situations. I brought a captured shield and a rifle over for conversion, but those aren't ideal solutions as they likely won't integrate elegantly with the machine. Unfortunately, if the intended pilots have perished and our own Mobile Suits are destroyed, they might keep us on these machines for a while. Until I actually manage to become a CQC specialist somehow through training, I need to make do with what I have." Yaichiro conveyed with some concern before showing Ryuu what he was working on.
"The machine doesn't even have any shields by default, but the swords use what is essentially Beam Shield technology to improve their cutting power. I was attempting to simulate if the Sasu could extend that blade edge into a variable size Beam Shield when needed, but the simulation failed. I guess it won't be that easy. That and it would drain its battery faster..."

Not long after finishing his training, he found himself participating in the Second Bloody Valentine War as a MVF-M11C Murasame Pilot. He proved to be a good all-purpose pilot, having a predisposition for ranged combat but refusing to let his melee skills suffer as a result. In the Captains quarters Captain Asahina awaited Flay to be brought in. She took a sip of her tea before being interrupted by the guards escorting Flay.
Mikuru nodded her head to the guards" You may leave us now. "
Mikuru stood up and crossed her arms and looked at Flay.
"Your mission was a success, I know you have been through alot Flay but our cause is just and we will make a better place in this world! "Mikuru then dropped the serious face and patted Flay on the shoulder.

As the elevator opened, Hazuko navigated his way to the hangar, confirming the hangar was pressurized before entering. He looked to find the Atama, Kyori and Sasy safely in the hangar. He wished that he didn't have to deploy them so early, or at all if he could have helped it, but Orb had to protect itself in any way possible. Hazuko made his way along the walkway towards the security team, ready to deploy. "Your priority is to search for the Earth Alliance President, secondary priority is to locate any other representatives who weren't among the passengers." With the confirmation of the leader, the team was off to enter the shipyard from one of the connection points.
Hazuko looked along the walkway, seeing Prince Mochizuki and an ensign nearby. Walking towards them, Hazuko suspected Mochizuki wouldn't cooperate well at first, but hopefully he would understand the situation past his father. "Lieutenant Mochizuki, I understand your loss but under the circumstances I could not allow you to deploy. Once the Gundams are looked over, there is something I am sure your father would recommend to you." After the Prime Minister's support for the project and Hazuko's silence about the gundams, the Commander felt he was in debt to the Prime Minister.

As the Lieutenant explained his reasoning, Ryuu checked to see if the hangar was sealed before unzipping his pilot suit adn pulling out the folder. Searching for the suit's designs, Ryuu looked them over before passing them to Yachiro. "It seems like its standard armament only consists of the anti-ship swords, beam sabers, vulcans and beam guns, although it should be able to equip the rifle and shield from the Atama. Maybe when we reclaim soem of the Taeru parts you can request to outfit the suit with them."
Ryuu wasn't a technical specialist on mobile suits, just a tactical adviser under Commander Hazuko's command. Ryuu looked away from the Orb pilot when he heard Itsuki shout out to 'prince Mochizuki, and the Commander approaching them. "I've got to go, don't lose that file!" Ryuu pushed off towards the Commander, intent on learning why he was sent out in the gundam instead of the pilot. His first thought was the pilot was wounded, but the Commander's order made it seem like something else was going on.
