He looked down at his paws for a moment then looked at her, not really sure how to answer. "Well, it makes me feel not alone. And that's different I guess....from being alone recently. Does being alone with me make you feel different? And how so?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked at her, not really sure if that was the answer she was going for. But it was the truth.

She wasn't really sure that was how she meant it. "Yes. I do.. I suddenly feel this draw to be close to you. I'm close now, but in a different kind of way.." Her eyes were dried from the impulse weeping, but they were honest. "I.... find myself wanting to be touched by you. I've .... well..." She looked away feeling quite embarrassed. It was one thing to be honest. It was another thing to just make a fool of one's self. She thought to herself, ~man.. if i'm gonna stick around here for a while. I should just.... shut up. I'm making myself seem pretty awful.~

Red smiled lightly and leaned back into a slightly upright sitting position. He put his pawn on her arm and looked over at her. His eyes glistening slightly in the damp dim light of the area they were in. "I see....Kind of like how my mother is drawn to my father I'm guessing." His tail stopped moveing and his ears twitched slightly, makeing the vines around them rustle softly.

She sat for a few minutes just watching his eyes. Eye contact seemed to be almost strong as his touch. She sat up on her knees, with her feet supporting her body. She leaned over towards him, propping her body with her hands on his leg. She was almost there... but yet, ~should I? what if he doesn't like it.. what if he doesn't want that kind of....~

He blinked a few times and watched her with a curious and slightly confused look on his face. As she leaned towards him, he tried to keep watching her so he leaned back slightly but nothing really noticable. His wings twitched a few times and he raised an eyebrow. He thought he knew what might happen. Haveing seen his parents do it quite often but he wasn't sure what it was like. Especially comeing from someone that he didn't know all that much about. But for some reason, it didn't bother him all that much.

The humanity of the indecision! She was in this mixed feeling of wanting to and unsure if she should. She looked into his eyes. Maybe it was pressing herself on him too soon and too fast. Maybe she should wait. The idea of him being the one pressing himself on her rather made her want to do it even more.. but, she had to acknowledge to herself at least that imagining him to do it.. and him doing it were completely different things. She was feeling quite not knowing what to do. "Maybe we should just go in there after all." Her mind and her mouth said she wanted to do something else already, but her body and her heart just wanted to convince her to do something no matter how foolish it felt.

Red's mind was kind of doing twists and turns at this point. If she was going to do it then why was she hesitateing? It just made him slightly nervous at this point. As soon as she spoke he broke out of his own thoughts and looked towards the door. "Are you feeling alright enough to continue on?" Turning his head back towards her, he raised an eyebrow. He didn't want her to move on if she still wasn't feeling ok.

"Do you think that all that is wrong with me could be that I don't feel good?" She looked at him slightly incredulously. She felt a little relieved that she wasn't just completely transparent, but being transparent would be ok. "It really isn't that at all. But, I would say it's more to do with this attraction I am feeling.. sensing... more than anything. It just makes me feel a little debilitated is all." She gave a small discouraged sigh. All this build up... Maybe he just wasn't feeling moved like she was. Not that he had to of course. Just the sense of feeling unrequited left her feeling a little lost. She could have sworn she felt signals and chemistry coming from him. Was it her imagination? "And.. am i sure i want to go in there? I'm pretty certain my feelings have nothing to do with really going in there or not. I guess it just seems maybe a distraction... because... I am resisting an urge to give you affections.. and I guess I hold back... because... I just..." She sighed yet another one of uncertainty. "I don't want to be a fool.. or do something to make you not like me..."

Red tilted his head curiously at her and scratched at teh back of his neck. "I'm not sure. I don't think there's really anything wrong with you." Attraction? Did she mean she was attracted to him? Why him? He was sure there were other more handsome Gods out there that she could try to get close to and love. He furrowed his brows slightly and put a paw ontop of her head. "Because what?" His tail gave a flick sideways across the step he was sittin on and he smiled lightly at her.

"Well, I can tell you that I don't just go around visiting temples throwing myself at gods all day. I'm really not that type of person." She looked him. She felt like she had said too much; however, he was interested in it. Something about him just would not let her pull herself away from him. "I am just not sure I want to make a complete fool of myself. If I kissed you, would you find that repugnant of me?" and, honestly, part of her was completely willing to do it. It was just her fear of it being unrequited. Not that would be unreasonable, he hardly had known her even a day. some people needed lots of time to bond to another person. But, for her, it was like a feeling she got right away.

Red chuckled lightly and ran his fingers through her hair slightly before retracting his paw a bit. "We all make complete fools of ourselves sometimes. It just depends on how we do it to what the reaction of other people is." He blinked slightly as she asked that question. Trying to come up with a good answer, he rubbed his one arm with a paw. "Well, I don't know. I've never really had anyone kiss me before....not even my own parents do it. So...I don't know."

She softned again, and she offered him a comforted smile. "Really? I have seen kats do it. I think it is an exchange they give when they are so full of feeling. It's personal.. and...." She wasn't sure how to explain it. It seemed so simple. She had seen it happen. She half closed her eyes for a second and decided to swallow her pride for how she looked like to people. She did jsut want to show him after all. Then she thought.. ~well.. it is just one. It's not like anything major, right?~ She moved part of her paw to the side of his face. She gazed into his eyes, and she drew herself so close to him. She could feel his breath. He would be able to smell her even probably. She folded her ears back, and she pressed her lips on his. After holding for a few seconds, she pulled back and looked at him.

Red looked off to the side slightly. He'd heard of kissing but never experianced it for himself. And yet he was an adult and never really had any romantic feelings for anyong. He looked back at her as she placed her paw on the side of his face and swallowed hard. Closeing his eyes as she pressed her lips against his, a sudden tingling sensation ran down his spine and he opened his eyes instantly as she pulled away.

She was pretty straight faced. She was watching him to see his reaction. "....well....." she asked. She was still close to him. She had pulled herself back a little, but she was still close. She was curious to see if he would pull her back in or not. She did think to herself though. How neat was that? It was her first kiss.. and his first kiss... he didnt' seem uncomfortable. And, he had seemed to close his eyes. That might be a good sign.

Red blinked a few times then leaned in returning the kiss softly. He hoped he was doing it right. It of course would only be his second kiss but the first initiated by him. Pressing his lips against her's, his eyes closed and he placed a paw on her shoulder slightly.
