"Maybe some geographers. Idunno," Jules said as he cut up his slice. "I just know that you can't learn anything about it. What's it like?"

"Hmm. Out in the boonies?" Jules asked. He glanced at Tails again, afloat and presumably asleep in the center of the spring. "You aren't brothers, are you?"

"One-hundred two...."

"One-hundred ninety-seven....."

Odd and Lykas were in the training room. Odd had finally broken one hundred sit-ups and it had only taken him ten reps of ten with five minute intervals.

Lykas, on the other hand, was nearing two hundred inverted sit-ups. The blue haired teen was hanging from a gravity bar along on the wall, his upper clothing removed to show that he had a well defined body. He might not handle cuts well, but that didn't mean he'd let his body just turn to mush.

Odd had finally reached 110 by now and was laying on the floor, exhausted. "How long did you say it would take to start seeins results from all this, again?" He asked as he heaved another heavy breath.

"Six to eight weeks, depending on how your body responds. If you keep going like this, you might see results as soon as four weeks, though." Lykas responded as he flipped down from his place on the wall. "I'm surprised you've held up this well, though. To come from a place full of 'squishy shadows', you've already started to harden your body into a fighting machine." The 'squishy shadows' were Lykas' way of saying a bunch of unknown people who he assumed were wimps.

"Hehe. Well, those 'squishy shadows' were pretty strict on a healthy diet and regular excercise. Just nothing like this." Odd responded as he climbed to his feet.

"Well, now you just need to work out a training regimen for yourself and your Pokemon and work out together. You'll all benefit more from it if you're there to support each other." Lykas provided, helpfully. "By the way, I've only ever seen that Chatot of yours use two moves. Does it know anything besides Hyper Voice and Mirror Move?"

Odd nodded. "He knows Aerial Ace. I just don't tell him to use it often. Normally the other two are all he needs."

Lykas soaked that in and thought on it for a few minutes. "Alright, then you need to work on fine tuning those moves for the most power and effect. But don't neglect his backup moves. There are foes whose own moves are useless against them. Consider Pokemon with the Flash Fire, Water Absorb, Motor Drive and similar abilities. If you turned their own attacks on them, they'd only make them stronger."

"I see your point." The boys walked out of the training room and headed to the kitchen together. It was time for some serious snackage after so much excercise.{Which their author has decided it's time to get some of his own since it's long overdue}

"Not really." He said to him. "But now, Im with better people. And I've been seeing what I've been missing all this time." He said.

"Heh. That's cool." As Jules rose to his feet, he returned his utensils to his pack. "So I was gonna stay longer, but it looks like there's a herd of Camerupt deeper in this cave. You kids should leave too. Their humps don't look like volcanoes for nothing, y'know."

"Huh? Oh, do we have to?" Tails asked. "I wanted to see if they have lava inside."

This was not the first answer Jules expected. "Is he always this strange?"

"Has he been this strange for this couple of weeks?" Jules asked. Surely, this would provide a clearer answer. As Tails swam toward them, Jules eyed the cave for a second set of clothes...but there was none to be found. He thought Tails could be the strangest kid, perhaps.
