Standing away from the ledge, Tails shook off the snow that had accumulated on his coat. "Refreshed," he said. "And my fingers are a little numb. Tristen, do you need any warming up?"

Katina Star Katina sighs. "Don't remind me..." They eventually make their way over to the trees and find a plane that resembled an old fighter jet that had come through the trees, skidded along the ground, and stopped nose-first against the face of a cliff. The nose is crushed and the cockpit glass is shattered. The wings have taken damage and there are branches and leaves everywhere. "Glad I didn't arm this thing before I left... surveillance only," Katina said as she approaches the wreckage, looking for the access hatch to the storage compartment. Sub quietly followed behind Katina, observing all the wreckage, but more importantly he was keeping an eye out for any wild Pokemon that may be hiding, ready to ambush them and turn them into a quick snack, or maybe their newest play thing, he hated those Tangela.

SubonicXP Sub quietly followed behind Katina, observing all the wreckage, but more importantly he was keeping an eye out for any wild Pokemon that may be hiding, ready to ambush them and turn them into a quick snack, or maybe their newest play thing, he hated those Tangela. Katina finds the hatch and opens it up. "Yay there it is!" She pulls out a large duffel bag and a few packs of field rations as well as a medkit. She turns to face Sub again. "That's about it... you see anything, or anyone?"

I can be stealthy, but how do I get the attention of one and weaken it in battle without it running away?" Katina wonders out loud. Waterboy shrugs. "Squirt."

"Perhaps get a distance, make them charge, and then pick one off of the crowd or lead it astray from the rest."

SubonicXP Sub smiled at Katina's question. "That my dear is up to you, part of being a trainer. Remember, you have Waterboy with you, the two of you need to work together." He said as he folded his arms. "Perhaps get a distance, make them charge, and then pick one off of the crowd or lead it astray from the rest." "Hmm... Hey! I have an idea!" Katina exclaims. "Waterboy... you get into that pond and stay under the surface until you get close to one that's drinking, then pop up and water gun it! In the meantime I'll try to get as close to the herd as I can." "Squirtle squirt!" Waterboy says, saluting Katina. He starts to make his way over to the pond as stealthily as he can. Katina makes her way over in that direction as well, taking cover behind trees and rocks as she does.

Sub just stood back and watched Katina go to work from a distance. "Nevermore!" Squawked Sub's Mrurkrow. "Yeah, she is going to do just fine."

Katina takes a position behind a rock near a small cave as she watches Waterboy slip into the pond. I can see everything from here, she thinks as she watches the surface of the pond ripple slightly where Waterboy swims underneath.
However, Katina was completely unaware that she was being watched herself. Suddenly she feels something hard smack her in the back of the head and bounce off. "OUCH!" she yells as she turns around to see a Cubone. The object that hit her head was his Bone Club.
Katina's yell had been heard by the Ponyta, and also by Waterboy, who pokes his head up quickly, startling the Ponyta nearby. "Squirt?" he says, looking around for Katina as the Ponyta freak out and run away.
"Cubone cubone!" the Pokemon yells threateningly, waving his bone around at Katina.
Waterboy climbs out of the pond and quickly moves over towards Katina, growling at the Cubone.
"Gonna be like that huh?" Katina says to the Cubone. "Fine, I'll catch you instead. Waterboy! Soak him with your Water Gun!"
"Squirtle!" Waterboy shouts, and he squirts the Cubone, doing significant damage from his type advantage.
The Cubone retaliates with a Bone Club attack, knocking Waterboy over onto his back. Of course, being a turtle, this is a very bad position for him to be in, and Waterboy flails as he tries to get back upright.
"Hold on Waterboy I got you!" Katina says as she moves to the aid of her Pokemon, picking him up and putting him on his feet again... accidentally providing a target for the Cubone, who Bone Clubs Katina as well. "OW!"
"Squirtle!" Waterboy yells, and without even recieving an order he moves away from Katina and Water Guns the Cubone again, pushing him into a rock with the force of the squirt.
Cubone, thoroughly drenched and not happy with it, falls forward slightly and uses his bone as a crutch.
"I got you now!" Katina yells. "Pokeball GO!" She throws a ball at the Cubone, hoping for a capture.
The ball shakes, and shakes again... and shakes again....
*ding!*
The ball is still.
"Alright!!! I caught a Cubone!!!" Katina exclaims.

Sub clapped for Katina as she captured the Cubone, smiling the whole time. "Very good!" He shouted to her.

The mission is the one going into the desert to go digging. If you check your Data (GRAY) you'll find it in the missions section. It's one that can be repeated and is the first mission listed. If you're interested send me a message back!

She put her GRAY away for the night. It had been a very long day, she had gone into town on a bit of a shopping spree with the cash she earned. Just got herself some new outfits for the time being. Figured the next mission she earned cash on she'd get some potions for Bubbles, but the way she figured a girl has to look her best at all times.
Placing the GRAY on her side stand she turned off the light in her room and went to sleep.
