Naruto Daycare RP (Open and Accepting!)

"I will be fine." Lee said adamantly.

"Okay....well i don't know what to do....she isn't on my team, i don't know her that well." Naruto grumbled.

Gaara looked up at Tom. He felt his heart open up and fill with light. "Okay."

Tom grinned and offered a hand to Lorelai and the other to Gaara, his eyes twinkling in amusement as he watched his sister. "Ye might want te wash yer hands when we get there after handlin' that toad, lass." Lorelai impishly stuck her tongue out at her brother as a reply, earning another chuckle from him.

Gaara took Tom's hand, while using the other to make the sand in the ground push up clean water

Tom brightened as he saw what Gaara had done. "Good idea, lad. Now that's a nifty trick!"

Lorelai washed her hands in the water and dried them on a small towel Tom gave her before handing it back to him. "Thank you, Gaara-chan." She gave Gaara a cheerful grin and took her brother's hand again as they resumed walking toward the shop, which was only a few paces away now.

Gaara gave a small smile to Tom and Lorelai.

Lorelai grinned back at Gaara as she hummed and skipped next to her brother. Tom was practically beaming and gave the boy a friendly wink as they walked into the shop. He could tell Gaara rarely smiled, but Tom planned to change that. "You two order whatever ye like." After a quick debate with her brother over the available choices of ramen, Lorelai sat in between Gaara and Tom as she gave her usual smile to the cook. "I'd like mine with chicken please, sir."

Gaara smiled, but it disappeared as soon as it formed. "Double that," he called in.
Ino smiled at Hinata when her order came in. "Itadakimasu," she said, taking her chopsticks.
Hinata smiled back as hers and Naruto's orders came in.

Tom ordered miso ramen while Lorelai happily swung her legs back and forth as she hummed to pass the time waiting for the food to arrive.

Hinata looked down the row and saw Gaara, Lorelai, and Tom there. She gave a soft smile and pulled out some chopsticks. "Itadakimasu," she said.
Gaara closed his eyes. He was very happy inside. The feeling was great. His miserable memories were disappearing....moving to the back of his head.

"Itadakimasu." Naruto said, grinning happily as he split his chopsticks.

Lorelai grinned and gave an enthusiastic wave as she spotted Hinata, nearly falling off her stool as she did so. Tom chuckled, steadying his overly exuberant sister as the food arrived. Once he was certain Lorelai had regained her balance, he picked up his chopsticks. "Itadakimasu." Tom split his chopsticks and started to eat, his sister copying his every move.

Hinata split her chopsticks and started eating.
Gaara split his chopsticks as his ramen came in. "Itadakimasu," he said, and began eating.

Naruto started to scarf down his ramen without another thought.

Using chopsticks was a new concept to Lorelai. She'd come from a culture where people used forks and knives while eating, but she was a quick learner and good at mimicking others. It wasn't long until she was eagerly slurping ramen along with everyone else.
