Renten smiled and Stood up. Takeing off his hood he said "I gaurdian of fate command you elves to the south and west. March on your brothers and sisters to the north." He siad.

Orla lingered a moment as she watched Craban march off with Shar in tow. She could easily sense the tension and then the slightly relief at the change of topic. Then she followed after them-setting the feelings aside which did not involve her.

[ eek Oh boy, gotta get to the elves fast. I think a dragon and an expert blademaster and Fire elementalist can take on a few elves.....maybe..... whee ]

Vence managed to grab a few supplies before leaving the fortress-city. Serol faded into view, and Vence instantly knew the look in Serol's eyes.

"Something's happened, hasn't there?"

Ailaer. ai thaes si aelaer os si myr eil shaer eisi ialaes ei maer. Si aelaer shi mael eisi ail kali palaes.
Indeed. i fear the elves of the south and west are under a spell. The elves we seek are in grave danger.

Vence ponderd for a moment what he just learned.

"If we're lucky, it will take a few hors for the elves to do whatever they are preparing to do. We may make it in time to warn our friends as well as deliver the message."

He turned to Craban, minding not to leave him in the dark.

"Serol can sense sudden disturbances in the threads of fate. I wont get into the details about that. Serol sensed trouble with the elves south and west. Our elves of the north are, as far as we know, unaware of the danger. We need to hurry."

[lol yup. Heck, even Shar wodul happily kill elves - after all they're all the same to him xd ]

Craban nodded, alarmed. "ok, ok. Serol, can we climb aboard?"

Shar looked uneaily at teh great dragon, but with a smile of admiration on his face. He was quite fond of lizards - they made great steeds.

Serol nodded, graanting permission.

Vence jumped lightly up onto Serol's back. He was easily able to point out to himself how large Serol had gotten. It had taken him about two seconds longer than usual to climb up onto him.

Orla glanced up at the ancient creature. She backed up in slight 'aw' at the majesty of the creature. However, she could not 'ride' a dragon and she certainly was not going to be carried. She still had her centaurian pride to consider. She had only allowed Craban and Shar on her back because they were in battle and allowed Craban to rest against her as a way of thanks.

Craban helped shar get up - as his hands were tied- and wedged him behind Vence. Craban then struggled up to sit behind him. He looked bac at orla and leant to hold out hsi hands.
"Come on, i'll help you up." he said. It woould be a struggle, but once she was on and laid on serol's back he expected her to be steady enough to ride him.

Orla stood reluctant and glanced away. "It's far too much trouble," she replied-cheeks slightly blushing. "I follow from the ground...."

"There;s no way you can run fast enough, miss." Craban said, using 'miss' to try and give her a boost of dignity to combat her embarassment. "Come on."

Orla glanced back at Craban. Her eyes briefly gave away her nervousness as she reached out her hand-pausing a moment as if she was going to change her mind.

Craban raised his eyebrows at her and leant over further to take her hand in his own.
"Come on, you've got two extra limbs to grip stuff with, it's not like you'll fall off." he winked.

Shar sighed irritably and leant forwards, hooking his wrists around one Serol's spines to giev hismlef some extra grip.
"Get on with it, will you?"

Orla gave a deep breath and using a hind legs to give herself a boost to leap up the dragon's back. She felt extremely awkward and embarressed being on the dragon's back.....like a hunted animal. Already she was sure that she wasn't going to enjoy this flight....

Craban looked over his shoulder to make sure that Orla was o, then leant over Shar' shoulder to speak to Vence.
"Ready when you are." he said, keepinga tight grip with his legs as well as his arms. He was excited- dragons weren't something you saw every day, let alone were allowed to ride.

Vence nodded in aknowledgement.


Serol craned his neck back, looking at each crewmember. Seeing the strange half human, half horse being's uncertainty, he stetched himself to face the creature. with a rare act of comfort, he touched the creatures forhead with his snout and turned his back to face the front.

Shi eir vaeli, mar oli. O shor shi mari.
Be at peace, small one. You will be safe.


Vence repeated Serol's words to Orla, somewhat surprised and amused that he would take the time to say such a thing. It was rare of him.

Orla nodded in acknowledgement and tried to settle her nerves. She looked longingly at the firm stable ground and then squeezed her eyes shut. Just don't look down.... she told herself in her mind.
