hypnocrown Welcome, welcome all! Anyone who loves Misao is all right by me! mrgreen You know, I still think this thread should be sticked up there cuz I found it way down in oblivion... rolleyes Meet the mods. That sticky is like the un-obvious Introduce Yourself thread of the guild. So maybe that's why this will never be stickied. Cause most of the new people introduce themselves there first. Maybe a name change for that sticky would be good, but since this thread's here already this could be like the more comprehensive way to introduce ourselves. Comprehensive just because I can't find a more suitable word at the moment. <3

Basic Information:
Well, my name is rather obvious - but you can call me Newtype, S3, NewtypeS3, or even NTS3 / NS3 if you're bored or lazy. I'll get the hint.
In any case, I'm 20 years old, and I've sorta been off-and-on with Gaia for a little while. The main reason I started was because my girlfriend had joined Gaia, and it sounded fun.
Of course, that was before I noticed that there was no age restriction. sweatdrop
In any case, I'm back to stay - though I generally stay in 'lurk' mode unless something interesting comes up.
General RK Info:
Well, I got into Kenshin thanks to the anime club at my high school - they decided to sample the first episode of 'Samurai X.' It was the blood and gore that got to me. biggrin
However, the next time I got a chance to see anything RK related was when I picked up the movie of 'Samurai X.' IIRC, it was the Kenshin movie 'Requiem for the Patriots' or something similar. I liked that one a lot more than the 'Samurai X' I'd gotten to see earlier.
Reguardless, my next experience was with Cartoon Network's showing of Rurouni Kenshin - and I loved it. Sadly, they stopped at the end of the Kyoto Arc, but at least they finished the arc before repeating it.
In any case, I've started to pick up the manga, despite knowing where to get a full-translation (but no scans) of the manga. I'm up to volume 16 now, and I'm hoping to get more soon.
Some of my favorites include:
After War Gundam X Big O I/II Irresponcible Captain Tylor Lupin the III Martian Successor Nadesico Megazone 23 New Mobile Report Gundam Wing (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing) Street Fighter IIV Tenchi Muyo / Tenchi Muyo - Ryo-Ohki! Trigun
Other ones I've watched are:
Akira Dragonball / Z / GT Excel Saga Mobile Fighter G-Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team Mobile Suit Gundam: 0080 Mobile Suit Gundam: 0083 Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Mobile Suit Gundam Seed / Destiny Neon Genesis Evangelion Outlanders Outlaw Star Puni Puni Poemy Ranma 1/2 Robotech Saiyuki Steel Angel Kurumi I / II Street Fighter II: The Animated Picture Street Fighter Alpha Shin Change! Getter Robo: The Last Day (Getter Robo Armageddon) Tenchi TV (Tenchi Universe)
(But that's just what I own, and it's really what I remember from what I own....)
Anime I'd like to watch: Turn-A Gundam, Victory Gundam, Chobits, and a few others scattered about.
