Liam had had enough. His pack was in dissaray because of some dumb b***h's outburst. He decided he needed a break from crazytown and stick with his pack a few months longer to keep his own sanity. Besides, once a wolf mates they mate for life, and nothing will break that mark.

Anya, Oscar, and Troy watched the scene with some disdain. The female vampire felt bad for Liam, she knew that sacrifice was never easy and those who didn't understand were foolish to let anger blind them. She had to go talk to him on behalf of Emma, though she disagreed with both her and Jess for their idiotic choices.

She stood up and dusted herself off, "I know Emma is upset, but she shouldn't destroy her marriage over this."

"Let her," Oscar shrugged as he leaned against the wall, "It was doomed from the start anyways."

"Marriage isn't a game!" Anya turned on Oscar, "You can't just say 'well i'm done I don't think he deserves me because i'm mad at him today' and call it quits! It's something you put time and effort into to make it work."

"My Queen, if I may speak freely, you should understand the importance that the Princess' choice of husband is to be desired among the courtiers," Troy spoke openly as he fixed his glasses, "They're willing to see her openly divorce this man in order to court her in order to better their status."

"Discuss that with her father," Anya pointed to Conrad, "I won't let her destroy her marriage because of a foolish choice on her part."

Anya walked passed everyone, pulled a cloak from a post before walking into the first signs of dawn.

Emma stood tall taking deep breaths in and out. "Good keep that up now," Jess smiled. "What type is this blood baggie?"
"Humanoid, A+. Clean nineteen years old." Emma replied smiling. They'd gotten far in her control. "If I get good at this do you think I'd be ready to go see Liam?"
"Emma, you can't see him. He's basically said you can't join his pack."
"But-"
"No buts, we'll make our own pack."
"But I don't want to-"
"Enough Emma, Focus. Control your thirst if you can do this you'll be safe for the other vampires."
Emma was starting to get beyond frustrated. The one thing she wanted most of all was to be accepted by Liam's pack and be apart of it. If gaining control and making up for the blood on her paws might help then that would be a start. However from Liam's reaction she was never going to be accepted.

"You're an idiot." Marcus hissed. "If this Emma is anything like I've heard she should be apart of our pack helping us either tame or wipe out the ferals instead of you hiding her away like you're ashamed of her." He moved a little his body bulging a little. "If I had a woman who could wipe out ferals on her own I'd let her be what ever the hell she wanted even if she did break the law. Like that pup said. She's young with no teacher. Here's a question too, Oh Great Alpha, did you even think to offer to teach her? Or did you assume her father and his whore of a wife would train her?" Whispers went around the others wondered if Marcus was actually thinking of challenging Liam. Marcus didn't want to win, he just wanted to make a point.

Anya stayed close to the shadows of the trees within the forest as she rushed to where she could smell creatures like wet dog. She knew the pack must've sniffed her out to hear them start to growl until Liam appeared in front of her, "There you are.."

"If you're here about Emma, I have to stay a few months," Liam crossed his arms, "Whether or not my pack wants to break the age-old rules we've all grown up with is irrelevant. Human blood was spilled and we are the ones who are supposed to abide and protect the humans from ourselves and vampires."

"Just give her a chance, Liam," Anya wanted to shove him, but feared she would come too close to the light, "Even some people in your pack want her-"

Liam dominated Anya, his stern eyes glaring down at her, "I am Alpha, and I don't care if they all threaten death upon themselves. My mate has killed numerous humans, the only punishment is death. Since I don't want her death, I can only keep her out of my pack. What she chooses to do at this point to join a pack is out of my hands. It's probably for the best she come up with her own little pack to play with."

Anya grumbled to herself as she looked away from Liam, too angry to look at him. She saw him move to reach her gaze, "What would you do if Conrad went on a murderous rampage and killed many vampires? You know that a vampire sucking the blood of another vampire is taboo."

She'd leave. And fast. Anya didn't want to answer this, but she could see that Liam knew her answer. Liam took a few steps back, wanting his pack to hear what he had to say too, "Princess Emmaline is banned from ever joining my pack, no matter any circumstances that arise and any Alpha after me shall never accept others into this pack who have slain humans."
PostPosted: Tue Dec 11, 2012 2:36 pm
"Then I shall sight my own great law." Marcus growled. "If a pack member feels his Alpha's judgement is misguided and overtly clouded it is the duty of his beta to either take his place or to remind him of his error. And you Oh Great Alpha, are making a serious mistake. We could learn so much from Emma, if it's control we can help her learn it. What's to say her killing those humans wasn't protecting the greater good? What if some of those humans were guilty of something by their own laws? You can't know that. You weren't there! None of us were. At least that vampire knew Emma. . . you know what? Screw you! I'll make my own pack with Emma in it. And if she wants she can be my mate. Because at least I won't judge her before I know the full story!" Marcus grew a few inches daring Liam to stop him. It was true. He genuinely thought Emma was an innocent in this too. Though he was only hoping for her to meet the pack for them to make their own decision on her he wanted Liam wound up enough to see his error and at least investigate what made Emma snap.

"That's it Emma. Slow mouthfuls." Jess soothed watching Emma feed from the blood bag. But Emma stopped and turned her head. "Emma no." Jess warned as Emma stuffed a bag full of donated blood and went into the ball room to see her father her nose picked up Oscar and Troy and her eyes slid to Troy. "If you value your life Troy get lost." She said simply her hand shaking. She was barely able to control herself. She knew she'd never hurt her father or Oscar but wasn't sure about Troy. Ignoring them both she went right up to her father wrapped her arms around him and started to cry.
"Oh Milaya." Conrad whined holding his daughter tight. "What's wrong?"
"Daddy what's the point? Even if I get control Liam's still going to isolate me." Conrad's eyes widened. She was only doing it for him?
"We will still love you darling," He said giving a look to Oscar as if to say 'agree with me'

"Then run rampid and forget anything about rules, break the customs that we grew up in and do what you please as a wild beast," Liam glared at Marcus, he was Alpha and wasn't threatened by some little pup, "I'd rather keep the peace than run like a rabid dog, now go if that's what you feel you must do, beast."

Liam transformed into his larger wolf self, forcing Marcus to stand down and leave. He turned to the others, 90% remained while the rest decided to leave. Turning back to his humanoid self, Liam turned to Anya who had shrank into the shadows, "Now go, your kind is too fragile for the sun's rays. Let my bride know what rules I have given. If she is unhappy with them, then remind her a wolf mates for life. There isn't any option to leave."

Anya held her breath. She remembered when she had killed two humans and Conrad had forgiven her when he should not. The coven possibly knew about it, but he didn't make this into a big deal. Anya nonetheless nodded and sulked back to the castle.

"Don't give me that look, old man, I have business to attend to," Oscar walked out, "And besides, she rejected me, remember?"

Without listening, nor caring, what the others said, Oscar walked to the main hall to wait by the front door. He was growing worried about Anya for leaving during the day for so long.

Troy approached the tender situation with unease. He didn't want to become the next meal for the Princess, "I'm sure your husband and the others still feel the same for you, m'lady."
PostPosted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 2:19 am
Marcus snorted taking them with him to the Castle escorted Anya with a smile. It was small and tentative. "Kylie, Can you wrap this around the Lady?" Marcus asked giving Kylie his heavy jacket. "And if you don't mind M'lady, it will be faster if you ride on my back to the castle. We wouldn't want you getting burned." He turned to the nine that were with him. "Let us go and find out what Emma is like for ourselves."

Emma pulled back from her father. "Feel the same. . . Feel the same?! He's all but cast me out as nothing but sexual relief!!!! I am to have no part of his pack life! If he wanted to make me feel more alone and unwanted he couldn't have done a better job!!" Her eyes went ice blue her chest heaving in breaths. It was at that point Emma froze in her anger and stared at the door. Her nose picked up a foreign scent mixed with her best friend and she bolted to the front door. The rays of sun poking from the horizon seared her skin making her cry out in pain. "Emma come back from the door!" Jess cried pulling her into the darkness watching as large wolves bounded through the doors with something wrapped up tight in a large jacket. The last one closed the door made eye contact then followed the rest into the ball room.

"What is the meaning of this?" Conrad roared wondering why Anya's scent was mixed with a wolf's. "Who are you people?" He pulled the bundle from the leaders back unwrapping it like a present. "Are you hurt?" Conrad asked caressing her cheek. The wolves turned to human bowed to Conrad.
"Where is Emma? I want to meet this Emma I've heard so much about." Emma emerged from the shadows making Marcus gasp. "His description didn't do you justice." He breathed bowing to her. "Princess Emmaline, I am Marcus, Former Beta of your husband Liam and I was wondering if you'd be Beta of our pack."
"Why doesn't Liam want me in his?" Emma asked tilting her head eyes narrowed at him.
"He doesn't want you in his pack because he's afraid you might break the law, instead of trying to train you."
"And you intend on doing just that?" Emma didn't like this. Where was Liam? Or Oscar at least?
"Emma already has a pack. She has me." Jess growled standing between them.
"I will not bend to your will youngling so do us a favour and bow to mine." Marcus growled at Jess. Emma growled back striking out without thinking back handing him across the ball room. "Fascinating." Marcus grinned. "What can't you do?"
"Control my blood lust." Emma said curtly. "Though I am working on it."
"Then show me. Show me how well you have control."
"Are you kidding?! It's day light! In my current emotional state I'll burn up!! God are wolves always this stupid?" She watched Marcus' eyes turn blue. with anger. Emma smiled she liked getting them angry. It was fun. Though she'd never get Liam angry. But she liked getting other's angry. They didn't make calculated decisions and got hurt. . . or in Henry's case, death by fire.

Anya entered the castle, pulling her hood down and saw that Oscar had waited for her. She approached him as her eyes wandered to where the noise was coming from between the newly formed pack and Emma, "Things didn't go well..."

"What'd you expect? Some wolves abide by old traditions while others want to see new blood," Oscar shrugged, "Emma picked the wrong wolf."

"That or she picked the wrong mate," Anya looked over at Oscar, "You know how wolves mate, and marriage isn't a game. You can't leave your partner even if you're unhappy."

"You'd still be with Conrad if he got a mistress?" Oscar pulled a sly grin, causing Anya to stiffen.

"That's another matter..." Anya crossed her arms, "He'd be a fool if he wanted a mistress.."

"In any case, I have to tend to business. Let me know if anything interesting happens," Oscar sighed as he walked off.

Anya went to where the wolves were and went to Conrad's side, "I've failed to make Liam see reason."
PostPosted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 3:29 pm
Marcus stood in his version on an Alpha stance making Emma smirk. She poked him and watched his whole body falter. "If you're gonna be Alpha," She began. "You're going to need to work on your stance or you'll be bowled over easier than that." She commented watching the anger burn inside him.
"Emma back off," Jess hissed lowly. "Don't get him angry."
"Too late." Marcus growled and launched at Emma who back handed him easily. "Seriously? I've got three different species rolling around inside me a eight years of experience killing wolves, it would not be a good idea to challenge me."
"Then why not you be Alpha?" Kylie asked in a small tone.
"Because I'm crown princess of the Vampire court I could be summoned to rule at any given moment, no offense dad." Conrad held up his hand watching his daughter with pride while Marcus whimpered in the corner her was thrown in. "I'll be a member but not a high ranking one."
"Are you kidding? With your skill? You'd make Beta at the Worst!" Kylie piped up happily. Emma laughed.
"I'll think about it."

"That's a shame. She's fitting in very easily with these people. I haven't seen her this happy in well. . . ever. It will be hilarious for Liam to see her this happy and know he wasn't the one who made it happen. I love making people regret things. But not you my love. I'd hope you'd never have any regrets about me." He smiled at her as if she were the only female in the world he could ever love so deeply. "Want to place bets on how Liam will react to this?"
"Dad stop that!" Emma hissed at him. "I maybe half way across the room but I can still hear you!" The lycan eyes went wide. They'd never seen her kind before and she seemed to have gained amazing control.
"How do you so it?" Marcus breathed beyond amazed at her skill. "How do you resist the urge to tare apart your father and step mother?"
"Easy." Emma purred. "They're my family. My blood recognized that and my instinct leaves them alone. Even my friend Oscar. . . However there was that one time when he got me so angry I wanted to suck out his soul after I jumped him but that's another story." Marcus and his pack listened with rapture. It was as if Emma was a goddess and she was telling them the origin of life. After a short while Emma asked. "So I'm in?"
"Yes, for as long as you have control of yourself and don't kill humans you're in our pack. Clean slate. However kill even one human and not Even Liam will be able to save you." Emma bit her lip. His terms seemed fair. Don't kill and you'll be accepted. Sounded easy enough. And she was making progress with Oscar. And the blood baggies. It was going great!

"I'm sure Liam has his own way about this," Anya smiled before standing on her tiptoes and kissing Conrad softly, "I'd never regret anything about you, my love."

"My Queen."

Anya turned to see Troy approaching her and Conrad, "Lord Oscar requests your husbands permission to speak with you privately."

"I don't see why, he's been speaking with me on other occasions before this," Anya gave Troy a confused expression before turning back to Conrad, "You are my husband nonetheless, would it make you feel uncomfortable if I speak with Oscar in private?"

Oscar sat in an office room that was similar to Conrad's, save the old texts of his new coven that he had found in a germanic castle. He flipped through the dusty pages where he had found creatures of three beasts combined into one before. The fact that he stumbled upon this knowledge was surprising in itself, but he didn't want news of this finding to travel far. For now, he only trusted one person to this knowledge.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 5:57 pm
Conrad smiled and kissed Anya's cheek. "He's your brother, I have no objections." He said giving her rump a slap. "But I want you to be back before I'm ready to sleep my darling." He purred then, once she was gone he watched his daughter play with her new friends.

After the rules were laid down Marcus pounced on Emma wanting to see her fighting skills. She held her own quite easily. And even when blood was lightly spilt she didn't react. There was points where she'd ask for a break and slurp down blood baggies to which her friends let her have the break, they used it to re-hydrate themselves too. They were having so much fun Emma had completely forgotten that Liam had all but cast her out. Marcus didn't ask her anything about why she killed the humans. It was as if it never happened. Like they were all giving her a chance to be a better person. "Daddy watch me!" Emma called and she pounced and rough housed with her new pack.
"I'm watching sweetling." Conrad purred watching his daughter with pride.

Anya blushed by Conrad's action before leaving the ballroom with Troy. He walked next to Anya before asking, "Oscar is your brother?"

"Like my brother," Anya answered, "We've been together so long that it seems like it. We were once a couple before."

Troy paused for a moment before catching up to Anya once again. He led her to where Oscar was and Anya went inside to see Oscar sitting by a fire in front of a desk. She shut and locked the door behind her before walking up to him, "You normally seek me out yourself."

"I didn't want to leave this unattended," he handed her an open book, "Three creatures in one."

Anya looked over the passages before having to sit down. So...Emma was not the first to have three races inside of her. She finished the chapter before closing the book, "This can't be right."

"Every incident is the same," Oscar stood up before pulling a cigarette out of his pocket, "One part of her will dominate the rest. And from what it looks like, she'll be more of a wolf than human or vampire."

She wasn't worried so much as to which race Emma will act more of, but more so how Liam would react to this. Anya looked to Oscar, "Liam is losing favor, are you going to act on this?"

"I have no right to," Oscar took a long drag of the cigarette, "Emma is a married woman, and I have my own reputation to uphold. I'm a gentleman, and I don't court married women."

Anya gave him a concerned look before looking back to the book he had given her. She took a small breath before walking over to Oscar, taking his cigarette and took a long drag of it as well, "Just be careful. I don't want either of you hurt again."

"My dear," Oscar took Anya's jaw slightly before placing a long kiss on her lips, then pulled away, "I'm the one who likes the pain. Now go, you must tend to your little husband before he joins the wolves himself."

A little shaken by Oscar's fowardness, Anya backed out of the room before fully leaving. She took a much needed breath before walking back to the ballroom.

"Stop moving Marcus! It will only enrage her more!" Conrad barked barely able to hold back his daughter even with Jess's help. It had been going so well. They were playing around taking hits in all good fun then Marcus made one wrong statement about Liam and Emma snapped. Her eyes went red and her fangs turned sharp. "Take it back teme!!" She cried kicking against her father's hold of her. "Take it back or I'll rip your head from your body and take a dump down your throat!" Conrad had tried to calm her but nothing worked.
"It's true Emma! He's not going to let you in his pack! Stop your anger and see reason!" He tried to be the dominating Alpha but it didn't work. She didn't see herself as part of his pack yet. She roared loudly a howl lacing the end. The vampire in her wanted to bleed him dry, the wolf in her wanted to rip off his limps and the human in her wanted to high five him in the face with a chair. "Anya get the hose!" Conrad roared trying to drag Emma to the dungeon. "Or Liam! Or Oscar Even! Someone who knows how to calm her do- AH! Emma!" He roared letting her go holding his arm. It didn't heal. He hissed lowly. Instead of red blood black liquid oozed out. The wolves gasped and Marcus looked at Emma who'd thrown herself on the ground allowing Marcus to pin her down while Kylie whispered soothing word in her ear. "Alpha say you're sorry," Kylie said with a frown.
"I'm sorry Emma that was out of line." Marcus said but she still kept growling and hissing none of her sides willing to take control and calm down. "Wolfy." She whined eventually. It was quiet and small but Marcus definitely heard it. Conrad sat back holding his arm. Pain surged but he bit back a cry instead downing as much blood as he could take until the ooze turned to blood. He knew he wasn't out of the woods. He'd still get very sick but it didn't matter. He was slowly healing. "Wolfy~"

"Conrad!" Anya rushed over to Conrad and held his arm where he was injured, "Conrad... Your blood.."

She quickly tore off a good chunk of her dress to bandage his arm tightly, "You need to drink, my love."

The female vampire stood up, keeping a hold on Conrad's arm, "It's getting darker outside again, you can find an animal to drink from at least to tide you over until I can get you something more fresh."

Oscar walked into the ballroom, cigarette still in his hand as he watched the scene. He eyed the crying Emma as he took a long drag of his cigarette. Apart of him should be happy that she's finally finding the misery, but he didn't. He wasn't sure what he felt, maybe pity, or maybe it was glee that she was crying. Either way, it didn't make much sense. Oscar approached the scene as he flicked the bud of his cigarette towards Troy, "Have you thought about if he doesn't come back for you?"
PostPosted: Wed Dec 12, 2012 7:04 pm
Conrad let Anya lead him outside to hunt. He felt so weak. He couldn't keep standing so had to take regular sitting breaks. "Is Liam going to come back for her?" Conrad asked Anya. "Did he say when he was coming back?"

Emma's body shot up tense causing Marcus and Kylie and push her down harder. "I know he won't." Emma whimpered. It was the truth. She didn't think he'd come back. Ever. She couldn't be apart of his pack. She'd humiliated and shamed him and herself. She lifted her body up Marcus and Kylie tumbled off like dolls. She went to Oscar eyes blood red and full of sorrow. "I'm sure what I feel isn't one tenth of how I made you feel Oscar. And I'm sorry. I really am. It's days like today I wished Liam hadn't have come here. And. . . It's his fault. I never would have gone to those parties if he hadn't left me alone." She turned and walked out of the ball room heading to the roof. She'd lay up there and let the sun roast her alive. Wolves mated for life? Well then, she'd take him down with her. Let him feel the pain he was putting her through by leaving all the time.

"He.." Anya wanted to be positive, but she couldn't lie, "Not anytime soon. Liam seemed...enraged that some of his pack wanted Emma to join, even though he wants to abide by those damn rules so much."

Anya easily caught a female deer, and giving it live to Conrad to drink from, "You need all the blood you can get, my love, i'll be back for more for you."

She was timid about leaving his side for too long, but knew she had to keep filling him up with blood. Anya paused for a second. Vampire blood. It'd make him a hell of a lot stronger, but it had a risk of him craving only vampire blood. She pushed the thought from her mind as she found a male deer and began stalking it until she caught hold of his large antlers, dragging him back to Conrad with all her strength, "I got you a bigger one, Conrad. This one will surely do the trick."

"Killing yourself for revenge isn't what's going to bring him back," Oscar sighed as he lit another cigarette, "Just challenge him for dominance."

He waited until she was at a good distance away from him before he began to follow her, "Just think about it. He's an alpha in his own pack, you're of lesser status. Even though you're not in his pack, just taking him down in a fight will automatically get you in and also put him in place."
