A walrus was all she managed to get this time around. Xiomara sighed. She was really used to hard labor. She didnt want to break a nail in the process. It was so hard being tough and fasionable and good looking.

With the concentration of his Fear, he struck, his weapon becoming two. The first hit was easy, and fell on it's mark with great force, but before he could land his second, he was hit with a wave of nausea, and stumbled back, hand going to the side of his head until the dizziness subsided.

Shaking his head, eyes narrowed, his lip pulled back from his teeth, he rushed forward again with a warriors shout, bringing his sword down in a slash across the humans body.

It crumpled to the ground. Good

His dispatched human was taken to the portal and thrown through before he was off again, finding a well worn trail that he followed, nose wrinkling up the further he went.

What was that awful smell?

The smell only got more awful, but the reason for that soon became apparent, as the small human houses that were home to human toilets came into view. After the nausea from earlier, the smell alone was enough to make him gag, and he spat on the ground, before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and closing in, pushing his way into the men's room, and with several quick strikes, very nearly incapacitating the first human he laid eyes on.

With one final light blow to the top of the humans head, Wrath was able to escape the terrible smell-house with the body in tow, slung over one of his shoulders. He returned in great haste to the portal (mostly just to escape the scent of the toilets) and threw the body in just as he had the first.

Considering how much it had sucked the first time, he had certainly made his way back to the toilets fairly quickly.

He just knew it would be one of the easiest ways to find a human, that's all.

Into the women's side, there was a lot of screaming, but Wrath shut it up by slamming his fist, and the hilt of his sword, down on her head, hard.

He needed to get out of here quickly, though, or there was a good chance he was going to be dry heaving in the snow.

Nope. Nope, nope, nope. It was just too awful. He managed one last glancing blow before his hand was covering his mouth and he was gagging again. He needed to get out of this place.

The human, who had backed herself up into a corner and was now crying hysterically, while more humans rushed out of stalls and to her aid, had been saved by overpowering stench, as Wrath made a hasty retreat back through the swinging doors an into the fresh air.

Never again.

Shaheen had become pensive, staring, unfocused, into nothing as the rain beat down around her, her wings shifting to more comfortable positions as she continued to lean against the tree. Though she had grown quite used to them, sometimes the whispers still managed to overwhelm her, lull her, and it was they that she listened to now, their inane babble always just out of realm of understanding, words that held no meaning, an endless stream that went on and on and on.

She didn't even notice the other from war approach until they were directly within her line of vision, and even then she did not react until they spoke.

Glowing gold orbs blinked, and swiveled minutely to where Nat stood, and Shaheen straightened.

"Yes?" She asked, a brow arching in question.

"Over there," grunted Hunter (Hunter-Killer), who was more preoccupied with his impromptu snake pit he had created to try and find the ultimate killer snake. "Prisoners go over there."

When he was sure the last of them had made their way into the portal, as it wasn't uncommon for horsemen to forget to return home, and end up stranded for literal decades before finally finding a way back, he rounded the last of the prisoners along with the surviving snakes, and turned to leave.

He never made through the portal.

The portal was not closing.

It was not closing, from all four of them, and they were warping, distorting in shape, colour turning a terrible, sickly green. Some horsemen gathered close, as close as the confines of the Temple Sanctuary pillars allowed them, and they could feel it, something so very-

Wrong.

As the first shape pulled its way through the portal, it was just green. Green, and the feeling of an unusual nausea, a sickness unfamiliar to horsemen. Their bodies, their Fear didn't work that way, they didn't understand this feeling as it was. Shapes, more solid ones began to emerge, moving from the different portals at different intervals. They were human shaped-

- And that was the only thing human about them, as they moved in their human-like forms holding glowing red weapons. They didn't act like humans either, and emitted no Fear whatsoever, instead, lurching forward, intermittently, uneasily, like something that didn't belong to that body hungrily. Their eyes were all green as well, and it wasn't long before the entire sanctuary was filled with them.

Green, sickness, disease. For those who had been a part of the whole virtual reality ordeal, they knew instantly what it was. For others, it was simple enough: it did not belong.

It seemed like the horsemen have triggered some unusual human world defense system. This doesn't feel like the work of Hunters, but really, felt all too much like how Hunters got, annoying and always in their way. The human-like shapes move as slow as any undead student, but there was something unsettling about looking at them, as if just staring into their eyes could make them for a second, forget who they were.

Your horseman has a lot of options here, and each one will reflect what happens at the end of this rp. Pick and choose. Remember that HP CARRIES OVER from the previous stage! FEAR ATTACKS HAVE RESET.

gaia_crown [ JOB/CLASS BONUS MECHANICS ] Before starting, take a look at these clan + job class bonuses. Apply them accordingly. Feel free to put the bonuses in your OOC quotes at the bottom of your posts to make it easier to track for you!


gaia_crown [ CONQUEST ONLY ]: If you miss during a Fear attack dice mechanic, you may reroll again.

gaia_crown [ WAR ONLY ]: Dice modifier for all your dice rolls is now -4.

gaia_crown [ FAMINE ONLY ]: All your healing/defense abilities have double the potency.

gaia_crown [ DEATH ONLY ]: All artifacts gained from your horsemen have unlimited use/ but still take up the turn accordingly/apply auto damage accordingly.

gaia_star [ Conquest Noble ] / [ Famine Sage ] / [ War Chieftain ] / [ Death Priestess ]:
- First five turns do not take auto damage.

gaia_star [ Conquest Scholar ] / [ Famine Alchemist ] / [ War Executioner ] / [ Death Guardian ]:
- Use your ability to assess battle to protect a player. Quote them. They take half damage for the entire fight duration.

gaia_star [ Conquest Artisan ] / [ Famine Scavenger ] / [ War Warrior ] / [ Death Jewelcrafter ]:
- Use your abilities to heal any player to full health up to three times on the same and/or three different characters. Each heal takes up a turn/ you take auto damage that turn.

gaia_star [ Conquest Imperial Soldier ] / [ Famine Ashen Soldier ] / [ War Queen's Soldier ] / [ Death Ashen Soldier ]:
- Quote any player that has already attacked using their Fear ability. Mimic that attack down to the damage done. You can only do this once per battle.



gaia_crown [ BATTLE MECHANICS ]: To make stuff go by faster, you can attack TWICE in one turn, by rolling 4dx - 2x your dice modifier. So if you are a Y1 horseman, it is 4d8-16, instead of 2d8-8. That one roll will be considered TWO attack posts, and you will have to take TWICE the auto damage. You can also attack once a turn if that is easier, whatever you're comfortable with.

  • gaia_star [ MOB INVASION ]: Weird human-shaped mobs holding various red weapons are moving through the portal. They attack anything they lay their unusual green eyes on, including you! While they are not too dangerous one-on-one, there are so many of them, and swarming by the second.

  • gaia_star [ SPAWNING A MOB ]: Use the SPOILER below to copy and paste your choice of any of the mobs. You can choose to attack the mob alone, or allow other players to come join in. Any player can join in to attack as many different mobs as possible for unlimited attack as long as your chars have HP by quoting you/your character, then updating the TOTAL REMAINING HP VALUE at the TOP OF THEIR POST. It is recommended you dont spawn too many mobs at once! Here's some fun graphics that you can pick for the different types of mobs you might encounter!

  • gaia_star [ MOB QUOTA ]: FIVE DIFFERENT mobs must be defeated for the portal to become secure. If the portal is not secure, all prisoners gathered will be lost. When you have defeated a mob post in BOLD GREEN AT THE TOP OF YOUR POST MOB DEFEATED and quote Zoobey so it's easier for me to check, just ONE needs to out of the group that defeated it. If you've defeated more than five, you can continue spawning/killing some for 1 bonus rp point per extra mob defeated up to 5 for this entire rp for any characters who DIDN't get the clan win bonus from round 1 (ie: who aren't War clan).


gaia_crown [ NON BATTLE MECHANICS ]: If your horseman is not a fighter, they can also icly choose to protect a prisoner and/or try to salvage the situation. However, doing so they will still take auto damage, simply due to the chaos that is currently happening.

  • Saving a prisoner: There are currently 40 eligible prisoners for your characters to save. For each prisoner your character ICly saves/carries away/ coaxes/ throws out of this floor, they your character takes -10 damage from the mobs surrounding them. If no prisoners are saved by the end of this fight, then there are no human captives for your characters to grab sad

  • Saving a pet ??? There are 5 of each pet (bear, snake, walrus) for your characters to save. For each prisoner your character ICly saves/carries away/ coaxes/ throws out of this floor, they your character takes -10 damage from the mobs surrounding them. If no prisoners are saved by the end of this fight, then there are no animal pelts/bones for your characters to grab sad

  • Salvaging the situation: If they're just reacting// rping around, don't take auto damage aka: just a regular rp post!

The portals weren't closing.

When creepy, shambling, glowing humanoids began menacingly shuffling through the portal, Torgus gulped audibly. A part of him had a sudden, desperate desire for a foxfire to hug. Or Medea to come save them all.

But he was a warrior.

So instead of running in the opposite direction, he drew upon his FEAR, slicing across a forearm madly with his machete and healing himself before leaping into the mass of icky weird humans with gusto.

It was going to be awesome. He flew at one of the more complete looking, and therefore less creepy humans, machete raised, a horrible battle cry issuing from his lips -

And promptly impaled himself on it's sword.
