Where did your username come from? A combination of nick names my friends gave me. Is it original? Yes. Is there a deeper meaning behind it? Snow White is because an old friend of mine used to call me her Snow White for various reasons(black hair, snow white skin, love of animals, etc..) and Jinx is another nickname a few friends gave me back in the day because I'd always have some smart a** remark to say, like my husband went into the bathroom to shave and I told him not to cut his face off and he came out with a big cut and he NEVER cuts himself while shaving, at least not in the 6 years I've know him, up until that day. And another time my friend was bringing some drinks out and her arms were really full, she didn't want my help so I told her not to trip and die because I'd be upset if she spilled my drink, and of course after I said that she tripped and spilled a few drinks. Or things like telling people not to get stuck in traffic when I know they are traveling by a route that normally has no traffic but they'd end up hitting traffic, etc. After a couple dozen incidents like that people started telling me not to make my little remarks anymore because I was jinxing people and thus the nickname Jinx was born... wow, that was really long, sorry for the novel.
And since we're on the topic of usernames::
Have you ever changed your username?Yes If so, what was it before? Gosh, I really can't remember, it was so long ago. What's your favourite username? Don't have one. What kind of username just BUGSSS you? The generic, annoying ones. You know, the ones where they choose the in thing at the moment and since everyone and thier mom already has it as a user name they have to add 10 numbers that mean nothing in order to use it, like TwilightFan123456667890. Do you like simple usernames or more complex ones? Eh, as long as its creative I guese it doesn't matter. Do you like longer or shorter names? Same answer as above.

This one is just the title of a Julian Cope song, which was allegedly named after a Russian dwarf poet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDLKBOywTas
metranil vavin was a fictitious russian emigré living in paris during the 1970s who wrote soggily sentimental poems about his mother (who had probably stayed behind in russia, but who might have died - one was never quite sure).
a series of articles about 'metro vavin' appeared in the welsh avant-garde poetry review 'second aeon'. they bristled with in-jokes visible only to the british 'concrete poets' who hovered around bob cobbing at the earls court poetry society, and took a broad-brush satirical approach to the huge sentimentality of contemporary russian poetry (yevtushenko was enormously fashionable in english / american poetry circles at the time).
Julian Cope A child that’s born in pain Kicked from the fireside Landing in obscurity I’ll cry again Nine times I’m bleeding In my purity Metranil Dreams of becoming a neon You don’t even take him seriously How am I going to get to heaven When I’m just balanced so precariously Fame takes down his clohes Looks for the smallest of inhabitants Hell, I suppose You know me I wasn’t built for elegance Once I was pride Lived in the sweetest dream of foolishness Lines etvhed on my face Seek a path that never Begs it’s own redress Listener: “He was a brave man He was a brave man.”
It's evidently so obscure that my profile here is like the 7th hit that comes up on Google.

Where did your username come from?
While I hate to admit it...the 'Megumi' part came from my pre-teen weaboo phase, and just sort of stuck. The Selwyn part came from a Harry Potter roleplay I was in for about a year.
Is it original? I would like to think it is Well, I think I'm the only Megumi Selwyn. So yes, I suppose it's original. Particularly creative? No.
Is there a deeper meaning behind it? Well, as it's formulated from a pre-teen Otaku nickname and a pre-existing surname, you can draw your own conclusions.
And since we're on the topic of usernames::
Have you ever changed your username? A few times, yes.
If so, what was it before? Originally, though I shudder to think of it now, I was "Megumi_chan5". Yeah. I wish I could forget about that. Then it was Megumi-Chan-Death-Eater, then Megumi Selwyn, followed by Megumi Dolohov, and back to Megumi Selwyn again. I'm thinking of ditching the 'Megumi' bit altogether and shortening it to 'M. Selwyn'.
What's your favourite username?
I've grown rather attatched to my own, despite it's shameful roots.
What kind of username just BUGSSS you? Things with underscores and numbers. It takes the elegance out of things, I think. Also, I'm not a fan of generic fandom-based usernames.
Do you like simple usernames or more complex ones? Simplicity, for sure.
Do you like longer or shorter names?
I'm going to say medium. Short usernames come across as blunt, to me. Whereas longer ones run the risk of being unnecessarily complicated and difficult to remember.

I really like mine. What kind of username just BUGSSS you?Ones with numbers and Xx's Can't you be original people? Do you like simple usernames or more complex ones?Depends. Where did your username come from? Herne is the Hunter God. Herne (it is believed) is derived from Cernunnos, the Horned God.
Is it original? Well, I wanted to be Herne the Hunter but that was taken, so I modified it into what it is now.
Is there a deeper meaning behind it? Um, see first question?
And since we're on the topic of usernames::
Have you ever changed your username? I have had many usernames.
If so, what was it before? Princess of the REBELLION, LapsusMemoriae, Ravisher Night, and Cashineen92 are the ones I can remember. I also had a male avatar for a while, but I don't remember the username.
What's your favourite username? I have no idea.
What kind of username just BUGSSS you? The ones with Xx....xX around them; oneswithmultiplewordsbutareallundercasewithnospaces.
Do you like simple usernames or more complex ones? I'm fine with simple usernames, but I love it when someone has kinda obscure references to kinda obscure things in their username and I get it!
Do you like longer or shorter names? Well, it depends. Some short ones can be funny, and some long ones are just obnoxious. But there are short ones like hinata's girl that are kinda lame, and the really cool ones are usually longer.

My poor Metranil account got the perma-ban. sad
This account I got the name from a Kitchens Of Distinction album, which one would assume was a play on Miles Davis' Birth Of The Cool

~Where did your username come from?
What do you mean "where did it come from"?! I do not take my username from any place, because that just makes me a slave to conformity.
~Is it original?
I guess you could call my username original, probably because there isn't a soul alive who has this username, at least I do not think so...
~Is there a deeper meaning behind it?
I am a wanderer, so as such, it seemed fitting to have this name.
+Have you ever changed your username?
Of course. It was wanderer1213 before, but I needed something darker and more full of meaning.
+If so, what was it before?
Explained in the above question
+What's your favourite username?
I do not have one.
+What kind of username just BUGS you?
Any user name that is a social nightmare, or just contains random letters and numbers are usernames I despise.
+Do you like simple usernames or more complex ones?
The more complex the better, but if the username has character, plus it's only around 4-7 characters, I can appreciate the simpleness of it because it is creative.
+Do you like longer or shorter names?
That all depends on the creativeness of the username, but really long usernames containing nothing but numbers and letters all jumbled up really frustrates me.
