Alex's father hadn't been there when his mother passed away, she had been sick all her life, but when it came to be her last moment he wasn't there. His father was away on a business trip, when she passed away. Leaving him by himself for two days afterwards. They had maids and butlers but his father was to busy to come home. Now he was getting remarried, his future wife already had two children. They were young only three and four, but it wasn't a family he wanted. He had been trying to get away but his father always found him. " |

Alaine shut the office door behind him as he walked into Sam's office. To his fortune the man wasn't in the room, so he could get through the night without any distractions. Walking around the desk, he plopped down into the leather chair and stared about the room. He'd been in here countless times and yet it always seemed to be ever changing. It was a standard size hole in the wall, 16'x16'. A two seated black couch lay under the window, a Persian rug spread over dark hard wood floors, cream colored walls decorated with plagues and photos. In one corner of the room was a filing cabinet, hanging on the wall next to it was a black plasma currently show all twenty angles of the club, each camera swinging back and forth every few seconds. From one of the views, he had a lovely view of the male from an right angle. He could see the male moving his hips and touching himself. Blushing a tad, he forced himself to look away and turned to the silver laptop sitting on the oak desk before him. He was going to quickly get through a couple bits of paper work, grab his stuff and go home. His emotions had been absolutely everywhere today and he felt completely exhausted from it all. It had been a long time since he'd been on that type of emotional rollercoaster and he could only pray that tomorrow didn't end up being the same.

"The night seemed to go off as normal. Though there was a few crazy people whom had to be escorted outside. The club was content with people watching but once they started trying to touch the dancers that was the end for them. They were instantly kicked out. Liam had a few people whom stayed by his cage, watching him. He simply ignored him, he kept his distance so they couldn't grab him through the cage. Liam hated when people screamed and yelled trying to get his attention. He wasn't here for them, to do their bidding. Liam was here for himself, working and making money doing something he loved.
After he was done dancing, he left his cage heading toward the lounge. Liam had been working from eight till almost two-thirty in the morning. He was tired and just wanted to go home. Liam was glad to go home, and start a new day later. He knew it was morning, but he didn't care. Liam needed to go home and feed Elsie then drop into bed. He stripped off his shorts, dressing in his clothes. Liam was glad he wasn't working tomorrow, he needed a break. Since he had been working four days straight. He loved his job but his day off was worth it. Liam slipped on his shoes, then grabbed his bag before heading outside. He grabbed his keys from inside his pocket, making his way toward his car. "

The night was long and boring. It had been what felt like ages since Alaine last did office work. The few times he'd glanced up at the monitor, he caught glimpses of Sam doing what he did best; manning his club. The man was a true boss. One minute he was holding down the bar, the next escorting people from the property, back to the bar, then somewhere in back doing god knows what to the people in the kitchen. He was glad he'd decided to stick in back tonight, it gave him a chance to think about what all happened today and what he should do in the near future. He couldn't hide behind his worries and his past forever, and after his time with Liam, however short it may be, he didn't want to hide behind it. He couldn't explain why but he just knew that the male was safe, that it was okay to be close to him and not worry about getting hurt. At least physically he wouldn't. Emotionally....well they would just have to see on that part. Hopefully things wouldn't end up bad that way either.
It was nearly three thirty when a hand began roughly shaking him awake. He hadn't even noticed that he fell asleep. He groaned and swatted at the hand away. A males' deep laugh broke the silence. Alaine's eyes snapped open and he instantly sat up looking like a deer caught in the headlights and looked around frantically. When he saw who it was, he glared furiously. "Don't do that!" he growled. Samuel merely grinned and ruffled his hair. "Shut up. Go home Laney." Again, he growled. Why must he always be called by some ugly girls' name? He knew he was younger and weaker, but he wasn't that feminine. Stretching his arms above his head, Alaine got up from the car the thumped Sam's head on his way out. "Kiss me again in front of my boyfriend and I'll kill you."
"So does that mean I can kiss you when he's not around?" Sam called as Alaine went to the lounge to gather his things. He completely ignored the male and got what he needed. Walking out to his car, he got in and made started making his long annoying way back to Brooklyn.

"His drive back to his apartment proved to be long and slow. He hated mornings at times, especially when he was tired. It had been a long day, full of stress. He thoughts things would have been better after making up the first time when had been better but he was wrong. They had to make up twice in one day, which was only annoying. Liam turned on the radio on his way home, he wasn't a fan of listening to music at times, but he was tired. The sound of the music was keeping him awake as he paid attention to the beat.
It didn't take him long before he arrived at him. Liam pulled into his driveway and parked his car. He grabbed his backpack, before heading to his apartment. Liam unlocked the door once he arrived before being ambushed by Elsie. He closed the door behind him, as the dog jumped up on him. Liam laughed softly, as he dropped his bag next to the door, kicking his shoes off as well. "Yes...Yes. Get down Elsie." He replied softly, as he petted her, before walking toward the kitchen. Liam checked on Elsie's water and food, putting more food in her bowl. He knew it had been awhile since he had been home so he knew she was hungry. Liam left the kitchen, heading to his room. He removed his shirt and pants, before getting into bed. It didn't take to long before he was out, crashing hard. "

Getting out of the Hamptons and Manhattan was just like every other night he drove home. A pure and unmerciful pain in his left nut. The bed was screaming his name. He was so tired, he'd had to keep all the windows open while he was driving. The cool air somewhat keeping him awake during his long drive. When he came into his complex, he drove straight towards his apartment, grabbed his things and ran for his apartment like someone was following. 'Old habits die hard.' he thought, quickly unlocking all the bolts on his door before going inside and relocking them once more. With his keys and phone in hand, he did a quick walk around the house, always cautious when he was alone. He wished he had Liam's number so he could call him. Even if they didn't have a conversation, he'd like to know he wasn't alone. Climbing the stairs to his bedroom, he left his usual light trail, along with checking windows and other doors. All was well, not that he doubted it wouldn't be. With a sigh, Alaine dropped his bag on the floor, stripped down to his boxers and climbed into bed. He reached into his nightstand, placing his revolver on top of it.He also pulled out his white iPod and turned it on to the first song that popped up, laying back down, letting the music surround him and put him at ease, soon drifting off to sleep. Morning needed to get here fast so he could hang out with Liam again.

"The early morning hours had come and gone, by now it was past noon. Liam had already woken hours ago, since he couldn't sleep. He had probably gotten about five or six hours at the least if he was lucky. Liam had eaten breakfast, and feed Elsie again. He had checked his phone, and called back the people he needed to. His family was such a worry especially when he never called back. Liam was used to calling back on a regular basis but lately he had been busy, with work among other things. He kept looking at the clock, trying to decide when the best time to call Alaine was. Liam knew the male didn't want to be woken up to early but he was getting impatient. He wanted to see the male again, but wasn't sure if it would be to weird for him to call. Liam sighed as he laid there watching television, Elsie was laying on his feet. He was flipping through channels not really paying attention to the show just the clock on the wall. Liam shifted getting off the couch, he walked over to his backpack. He had stuffed the male's card in his bag. Liam fished it out, along with his phone. He walked back over to the couch, and dialed the male's phone number in. Liam waited for a second then the phone started ringing. "

Alaine groaned at the sound of the loud JPop song. He'd been hearing the song going for awhile but it didn't register that his phone might actually be ringing and wasn't apart of some weird dream. Sitting up, he grabbed the phone that lay next to his head. As much as he liked Daichi Miura, he needed music blaring in his ear first thing in the morning like he needed a bullet to the head. He stared at the number for a good minute, trying to figure out who the heck would be calling him so early in the afternoon. "Hello?" he asked, his voice thick and groggy.He leaned back on his arm, his phone cradled between his head and shoulder while he rubbed the morning crap from his eyes. He squeezed his eyes for a few seconds, trying to wake himself up fully. If it was Liam, he surely didn't want to fall asleep on him, and he definitely didn't want him thinking he woke him up even though he knew he probably should have gotten up hours ago. But he couldn't help himself, he kept having weird dreams that woke him up every hour. Before his phone started going off he'd had three successful uninterrupted hours of sleeps and craved more.

"Eh, I guess...No one's taken me home since you though...and Danny and I got into an argument when I came back that night...I took him home and we talked it over...and then some..." He muttered, drawing little circles on the table. He closed his eyes for a moment, hearing the male's soft words in his head, claiming he loved him and sighed. "I probably shouldn't be letting this go on...Me and him...Since he's always telling me he loves me..." He muttered, shaking his head. "But never mind that, those are my own problems...But yes, I've been kind of busy, I get the week off in two weeks so..." Grinning slightly...
