Rina's temptation to pick up some sugary pineapple soda was quickly growing, it honestly looked like she was having some mental struggle while looking at these drinks. However, she eventually decided not to, Seth'll get upset with her and if she drinks any more of this stuff, she'll get hooked on it! As Rina finally shook herself free of buying the tasty stuff, she noticed a man approaching her and was a bit surprised when their eyes met. Wait, he looks familiar!
She recognized who he was when he first spoke and a large smile appeared on her face. Before she even realized what she was doing, Rina had already put her arms around him in a hug. "Ah! Sorry," Rina exclaimed, releasing him, "I was hoping to find you so I could thank you properly for saving me! So, thank you!" She had one of the sweetest smiles ever on her face, showing true gratitude for what he did. Fiddling with the basket of groceries she had in her hand, an idea suddenly popped up in her head. "How about you come over to my house for dinner? As thanks!" She asked, hoping he would accept. "It's understandable if you're busy, I just really wanted to thank you. Oh! And my name's Rina, by the way." She forgot she hadn't introduced herself to him! This whole time, she hadn't really noticed how tired or hungry he looked, her excitement clouding her view. Rina was just happy to find her rescuer after all this time!

It was a fearful situation, so why shouldn't this man be happy to see the little lady alive and now smiling at him. After all, for a smile like hers he'd probably go through the danger again a thousand times over. "Rina, is it?" He cooed her name curiously as his eyes then glance down at the goodies she has in her basket. "I, Ryan, cordially accept your offer for dinner." He bowed playful to the little lady but his hoodie sat well upon his broad shoulders when he did so. Proudly standing with regimented spine, Ryan rubs the back of his neck as a light blush formed upon his caramel skin and a glint of naivety formed in his eyes. "And since you are being so kind as to thank me with a meal why don't I carry the basket for you, Rina. Think of it as a sort of apology for putting my own arms around you." He didn't feel that she needed to say sorry for hugging him earlier but he felt that he, as a stranger, had no right touching her and so he wanted it to be known it wasn't his intention to act so familiar with a woman he's hardly familiar with.

Rina nodded happily when he repeated her name, happiness radiating from her. Her hands clapped together when he agreed to come over, "That's great! It's nice to officially meet you, Ryan." A small giggle came from her when he bowed, feeling comfortable around him. Rina would've told him that it was okay for him to hug her, but she decided not say anything, other than giving him another warm smile of gratitude and offering him the basket. He's such a gentleman! While Seth is sweet in his own way, he's not really "gentleman-ly" sweet, is he?
Rina quickly went around to pick up the last few things she needed before going to the checkout counter and paying for her things. She could carry the bags, but she wasn't sure if Ryan still wanted to carry her things for her. "Well, you could come over now if you'd like," It was getting close to dinnertime, so Rina's gonna have to start cooking soon, "but if you have something you wanna do first, I live at 1110 Etoile, so you can come over when you're ready!" Well, if he came over now, they could talk, or watch a movie, or play with the puppies! Rina still isn't sure if Seth is home, though. Well, he should be, it's just a matter of whether he's going to work or not.

Ryan smiles though he knows he ******** up by telling this girl his real name. For so long he's been acting as a ghost, being sure to keep low key about everything and yet... because of this girl all of that had melted away with her sun kiss smile. The time went by fairly fast, seeing as she only needed some last minute things, and with small talk about wether and sales prices time practically flew by. Before he knew it they were checking out and he was being asked if he wanted to go to Rina's place now. "Well I don't really have anything to do since I have the day off. So, I'd love to see your home now if you don't mind. I'm sure it's nicely decorated, seeing as you come off as the expressive type." [ Exit: To Rina's home! ]

The raven-haired male was currently in the frozen aisle section, looking for ice cream as well as other junk food to fill up his stomach. It was 9 A.M. when he arrived; with his mistress gone for work, he was currently alone, and now, the urge to crave for snacks hit him at this current moment. He would certainly like to have soft drinks as well, most preferably brown pop, as the accompaniment for his snacks. Corbin wanted to take a break from his job hence he flew all the way to the store just to satiate such hunger. Maybe he would like to buy another pint for his mistress, but she would mostly busy with the cheesecake after her shift in Beluga. There would be a next time for that, as he would guess.
It was definitely such a quiet day, with not much presence around and the cashier was relaxed, reading a magazine of some sorts. For Corbin, that was his picture of a peaceful day, away from strife, away from his past life.

Walking around the city for quite some time after leaving the cafe, Jessie took the last sip of her coffee and threw away the cup after she finished the drink. She was having such a nice walk from Doux housing, then to the shopping district, and now arriving at the downtown part of the city. While she was at downtown Soleil, she could do some grocery shopping, she did need some ingredients and to fill a bit of her pantry. Jessie walked herself to the grocery store and before she could enter the store, Jessie went to the side of the store to grab herself a cart to put the groceries in and have the pup in the baby seat. Grabbing the cart handle, Jessie bent down to Foxy, and hold the pup up and placed her in the baby seat. "Don't make any trouble and behave yourself okay?", she said to the fox as she placed her bag next to the fox and entered the store. Well, screw the next time for the second pint of ice cream; he just went on with the task of getting two pints; one black forest for Corbin and mango for Hikaru. He settled them both into the grocery basket, making sure that they were upright. His crimson eyes then took notice of the woman who seemed to be lost because of not knowing where to get the stuff she would need. Her aura had a trace of innocence as if she had a peaceful life. Great, that was something that he envied for because he already lost that side of him because of the harsh reality of where he grew up before Hikaru took him as her trusted pet. He approached the lady with a nonchalant expression on his face.
"If I were you, I should have a list prepared first," he spoke before approaching the fridge next wherein beverages were stocked there. He opened the door before grabbing two six-packs of soft drinks.

Jessie looked at the items at the shelves and examining the prices of each thing and checking which to get in her pantry.
She looked at the bread section, there was white, wheat, bagels, the puff hawaiian puff bread rolls, and so many more. Jessie took two bags of the white, one bag of the bagels, and one bag of the puff bread rolls. Foxy on the other hand, leap up a bit at the sight of the breads Jessie was putting in the cart and placed her front paws on top of the seat. "Hey now don't jump on the back..", Jessie said as she patted the fox's head to calm her down. Finishing placing the breads in the cart, she slowly moved to the next section of the shelves and grabbed two cream cheese. She continued looking at the shelves, checking what else she can place in the cart. As she continues to look on, a voice came up suggesting to have a list prepared before doing shopping. Yeah that could have helped her, but it wasn't a big deal for her, she didn't mind taking whatever she sees in the shelves unless she really wants it. "That's a good idea,
but I don't really do a lot of grocery shopping so I don't mind just scrolling around and grab what I could use." The female told the male as she grabbed one of item in the shelves, examining it before putting it back in the shelves. ⇨ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ⇦

He hummed, silently glad that the woman paid attention to his suggestion. Corbin arranged his drinks to be settled besides his ice cream pints. Now that the four items were settled, he went for the chips. He was aiming for the jalapeno-flavored ones, though Hikaru preferred the cheesy variation. "Having a list can also save time and effort. Mistress and I did check what we really need to restock in the pantry before heading out here." The truth was, even he and the fallen angel didn't do grocery shopping that much, either, though the habit was picked up from her deceased parents. The raven's eyes took notice of the companion the woman was bringing along, a dog to be exact.
"Your puppy must be really young. Did the animal get enough care by you?" Oh, how he was reminded of Hikaru's care ever since the day he was adopted by her.

The male wasn't wrong. A list would be helpful and save time and she could have done something else with the time once she was getting whatever she may needed from the list if made. Though even with a list, Jessie may become side tracked and look around if she was done with the list. Jessie's eyes wondered around the shelves, then wondered her eyes to the male. Mistress? Was he like some kind of butler or something?
He didn't look like one, maybe roommate of his and some sort of nickname he gave her or something. Well it wasn't her business, but it was quite weird to hear mistress. Jessie wondered more in the aisle and got to the cereal section. She grabbed a box of Frosted Flakes and Honey Bunches of Oaks the flavor with almonds in it and one gallon of milk. Placing all the things she grabbed in the cart, Jessie's head turned to the male as he pointed out Foxy to be quite young. Her fox companion wasn't really that young, if she remembered correctly, she is at least two years or so old. But to answer the male's question, she nodded her head as she place her hand on top of the fox's head. "Yeah she did. Saved her from dying actually.. Luckily it was treatable.", she said as she looked at the fox and the fox looking back at her, "Do you have a pet of your own?' The raven then put the bags into the basket, arranging them carefully so that they wouldn't be topsy-turvy. Even with the small act, he listened on to the woman's narration about how she saved that creature from dying. If it wasn't for her quick action, the animal would be beyond saving. "Reminds me of Mistress except that I am close to death. She can be much of a tough cookie but she can be trusted once you get to know her well." Hikaru was truly a remarkable girl in Corbin's opinion. At the question about him possessing any pets, however, he shook his head.
"More like... I'm Mistress' pet. You can say that I'm her loyal companion." That was all he could disclose about himself. He was in no mood to expose more about himself, like his awful past. Hikaru could use some more acquaintances, but their possible meeting would wait till another time.

♥ Relationship: Single Waiting for the male to respond to the her question, Jessie moved her bag in front of her as she opened the bag and pulled out her wallet, getting ready to pay the items in the cart. She didn't want to stay too long in the grocery store and didn't want to carry bags of grocery. She walked to one of the cashier lanes and stood behind one of the customers as she placed each item in the cart on the conveyor belt, waiting for her turn to get charged out for the items she's buying.
Though as she continued to have a conversation with the male, she continued to listen as he spoke more of his 'mistress' and about the similar saving part of when Jessie saved the fox from dying, but he was closed to dying if it weren't for his mistress to save him. Mistress's pet? That was something she didn't hear everyday. Was their relationship, like those weird kind relationship of master and slave? The male didn't look like a pet of any sort, he looked human.. Well.. Jessie knew no everyone in the city was human, some of them are different species like cat, demon, vampire, whatever species were alive. Her school was like, she didn't know they were other type of species existed. She was kind of holed up from those different species, but maybe he is one of those type, she didn't want to ask as it would be kind of rude to ask. "You cherish your mistress very much.", she said as she walked more of the cashier lane and let out a small smile to the cashier, greeting her nicely. As all the items were scanned and bagged, Jessie handed the cashier the rightful amount of money to her and grabbed the bagged items and receipt, placing them on the cart as she began to walk away from the cashier lane and stopped in front of the exit, leaving the cart, carried her fox companion out of the baby seat and to the ground, and grabbed her belongings. "Your mistress sounds like a great person, hopefully I get to meet her someday",
she said as she gave the male a small soft smile, "Well I have to go now. Maybe I'll see you around. Bye-bye" Well that farewell, Jessie walked out of the store and began to walk to her place to drop off all the groceries in there and take a small rest when she gets home.

The raven managed a small nod at her sentence about cherishing his mistress. What would be wrong about what she said? However, their relationship was diverging towards the stereotypical master and slave variation; Hikaru was actually considering him to be a part of her family, though the fallen angel's feelings were towards someone else. Now it reminded him of Isaac and he was now thinking that he would return home safe. At the description of Hikaru being a good person, a sliver of a smile crossed his mouth. By the time the woman was leaving, his wave was short and he returned to checking his belongings to make sure he got everything.
Once he was done inspecting, he put the basket on the counter, allowing the items to be scanned, sorted and put into bags before he paid for the items, the total being $27.00. He then picked up his bags before leaving the store. The woman with the fox may possibly become Hikaru's new friend, but he was unaware that the stranger was actually focused on another person at this moment. Corbin wouldn't mind that; their next counter would wait.
