Tyrese found himself staring at Sela, watching her growl and writhe in place. His expression didn't change much as he compared her to a break dancer scrambling around on the cold tile. Hilarious and adorable. He casually lifted his phone to snap a pic, sighing to himself when he found the device dead. Ill timing, he liked having videos and pictures to email back to England. The wolf put the phone away again, turning the corn to a simmer when it began to boil over. While it cooked and grew thicker, he stopped the boiling water to prepare the instant mashed potatoes with. He then flipped the chicken to cook the other side, hoping the smell and subtle sizzling pop of grilling meat would coax Sela into a better mood. Neither of them had eaten today as far as he knew, something that wasn't good for a girl her age. Aubrey either, since Finn left her for some God forsaken reason, without assuring she was provided for first. Ty shook his head to himself. Was he as much of a fool to think he knew who Finn was as he was to think he knew who Lillian was? He didn't even know what was what and who he could rely on at his point. Bree had her hands full enough with Finn, and he with her. Then their baby. Tentatively, he peered over at the box placed in front of the tv, then over at Sela- and screwed the cap onto the alcohol bottle. Three cups was enough.

Did anyone think of him in exasperation, wondering what happened to his teenage self? He liked to think he made progress, but Bree had thought she was an outcast among Finn's friends...well, him, contrary to how he thought he acted towards her...Maybe life meant they were all just grasping at straws, fooling themselves into thinking they were in control of their own lives. Things wouldn't really feel like this if it were destiny's plan; soul mates, the theory of love at first sight, the red string of fate that ties two people together...He'd denied it, but now it would be comforting to think his life went so wrong because he was fighting against fate this whole time. If that were true, and Koizora was right about fate, then there would be a sign when he finally started going in the right direction, right? The wolf pondered absently, turning off the fully cooked chicken and fixing Sela a plate. Hoping but not knowing if she'd shift, he place a plate and a bowl of water on the tile so she could eat either way. If Finn and Bree were soul mates, then why were things going awry with their relationship lately? Well-, well, because he came around, as did his drama with Lillian. Was that the sign? Even at Koizora, he and Lillian were't simply happy, something had always come along to spoil what they had. Bloody hell. Ty sat in a chair, face contorted in confusion. Was he plastered right now, or had he realized the truth about his life? But no! Wait! Sela, she was destiny. every error was worth that little pouting being just behind him. Two days ago, he was happy to believe, whether fate existed or not that he was going to be with Lillian. Now...now. The wolf's stomach twisted painfully as he stumbled out of his chair in search of a bathroom.

_____________________________

Laying on the floor was making her tired. How was it that, even if you were unimaginably tired, the moment you lay on a bed or couch, you instantly wake up? But if you're wide awake and lay on a floor, you want to go to sleep. Somehow, that didn't make any sense. Rolling onto her side, she lulled her head against the floor and yawned. A small whine emanated from her throat before she closed her mouth once again, looking back up in his direction when she heard a loud sizzle come from the kitchen. She could smell the food being made and her stomach was ridiculously empty; maybe that was also contributing to her bad mood. Even if it was, she still wanted to go home. This place wasn't familiar to her and it was starting to make her a little anxious, she wanted to be where she knew the smells and where everything was. She didn't know where anything was here.

Sela moved into an upright position when he walked over to her and set a plate and bowl in front of her. Looking up at him, she could see the almost painful confusion on his face. He wasn't really doing a good job of hiding it. Her paws curved inwards a bit, nails softly scratching at the floor before straightening again. Her eyes followed him as he sat in a chair and looked to be in deep thought. She thought about getting up and going over to him, despite her hunger, but before she could make much of a move he was up and briskly moving away; she had taken too long. Where was he going? She sighed once again through her nose and looked to the food prepared for her.

What was it he taught her again? Pushing herself into a sitting position, she stared down at the food as she tried to remember something her daddy had taught her weeks ago. Or at least tried to teach her. Even though she was trying, the only thoughts that kept coming to her mind were of wanting to go home. Squeezing her eyes shut, she shook her head and tried to clear her mind, focus on what she was trying to remember. Something...Something about connecting with her wolf. The wolfling dropped back to the floor, paws covering her face and whimpering as the thoughts escaped her. She just couldn't remember. Inching towards the water, she heaved herself up enough to be able to drink some. It helped fill her empty stomach enough to get it to quite growling before feeling her eyes start to get droopy. Flopping back onto her side, she closed her as she huffed a tired breath.

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

Bree rested the back of her head against the incline of the tub's edge. The tips of her curls had settled down into the water, sinking the longer they stayed in the lukewarm water. Like lines of a fishing lure, they remained poised beneath the calm water's surface, completely unbeknownst to them that they remained attached to a living person's head. The mentioned brunette, however, only watched the flowery white print on the green painted wall with parted pink lips. It didn't take long for her to lose track of her thoughts like this, purple chocolate irises remaining in place. All noise drowned out around her, her shoulders just peeking above the soft mirror reflection of herself. Finally, her gaze drifted down to the water, empty noises echoing around her mind. Everything was a mess that she had just wanted to go away. It was all a massive puzzle that she couldn't wait to find that last piece to. The piece that would end all of her troubles and set everything up in perfect order. But now... The lining was being stripped away and scrambled back up again - bit by bit. A shiver surged through her, eliciting a thought that perhaps she had let the warmth disappear. But upon further reach of her fingers in the underwater air, she found it to be the same as when she stepped in.

The occasional sizzle of the stove top downstairs reached her ears, making them turn attention to the fact that she still had guests in her home. The last thing she wanted to do was send Tyrese and his daughter walking home in pitch black with her fighting every part of the way. If need be, she would bring herself to get in the car and drive them home. But otherwise, the couch was always a further option. There was always the back up blow up mattress she kept in the corner of their closet if Finn and her had ever wanted to camp on Mykronos - something she had always wanted since they moved here. Yet, they hadn't. It was always work, work, work. Her nostrils flared, releasing an exhale built up for a little too long. Whatever the case, she needed to get out of the tub and make sure nothing too mischievous was happening downstairs. The whining had stopped, as did the sound of kitchen prep, making her wonder if Tyrese had either left or Sela was eating. Either or, they were her guests. And even if they had gone through absolute hell to get to where they were at this moment - they still needed to be treated as such. It was just like working the bar. No matter how tired she was or how much the smell of alcohol had killed her senses for that particular night, the customer still needed to be served.

She wouldn't move this time, only tilting her head back to allow the forth coming splash from the faucet drown her hair and all oil that had built up with it. Now getting it washed would be the hard part. Tenderly leaning over the side, she grabbed the bottles of shampoo and conditioner, remembering to toss her bright aquamarine scrubber into the water as well. Routinely her hands went to work, shimmying the soap until it made the entirety of her hair a white ball of foam. Under the water it would go and the next would be done with the conditioner. She didn't like the two in one bottles - they did absolutely nothing but make a big mess of the situation. She enjoyed her hair to have a silky, angelic touch to it. The droplets rolled over her forehead, avoiding her eyes and dripping off of her chin to meet with the rest of its members; who only bounced in joy of seeing their remembered molecules. After washing her body clean - being gentle around her chest area - she let the rest of the water do the work, becoming bubbly and smell of girlish soap.

Lifting both her hands out of the water, she gripped the side of the tub, listening to the sloshing slam against the porcelain. Her fingers clenched down, mind mentally preparing itself for the force she would relay against her rib cage. Raising her body up to a slightly slouching position, she fell onto her knees, shakily rising up on both feet. Her toes clenched in an attempt to help her balance all the way up, eyes shutting and teeth gritting. Even if ti didn't work, she didn't want to be hissing in pain. So instead, she would stifle it and try to live through it. Her swallow was heavy, making her throat bob until she finally got all the way out of the tub. Drops fell from her hair and skin, leaving small puddles on the floor that she really didn't want to worry about now. As long as she didn't slip, she didn't care. She gripped a hanging brown towel, bringing it to her chest and face. If she hadn't shaved yesterday morning, she would have been ashamed to look herself in the mirror. Luckily, she woke up early enough to take a shower before her father drove her home. Already she missed that part of the family - rather wanting to be babied at this point. Her feet carried her forward, the fibers of the towel taking off any water that remained on her being. She'd skip out on lotioning up for the night... One day wouldn't make a difference. Now she just needed to get wrapped up so she could go back downstairs and truly greet Tyrese for the day....

Her bandages. It would have been if she hadn't left them downstairs. She could hear the click of her purse on the tile floor next to the coat hanger in the doorway. Her dark brown brows came together, curls already beginning to appear in her matching hair. What would she do now? There was only one thing she could do. She turned towards her dresser, quietly opening up a drawer and slipping out a pair of underwear to struggle on underneath the cloth. Then bundling the towel around herself, she exited her bedroom and walked down the carpeted hallway, back to the top of the staircase. She only hoped Sela wasn't asleep - or at least hoped she wasn't going to wake her up. "Tyrese...?" She croaked from the top landing, casting her look from the wall to the bottom and settling herself down onto the first step on the top floor. Her knees curled to her chest, her hand keeping a steady grip on the towel. Her hair gave an occasional drip.

Tyrese sat with his back against the wall opposite the toilet, legs stretched to either side as his hand pressed to his lips. He'd feel better had something came up rather than just the twisting and launching and vain gasping. His eyes narrowed at the empty space midway between the floor and the ceiling, his concentration focused on the sound of blood rushing in his ears. Silence seemed to push in on him like a tangible thing, filling in the air until every crevice was overflowing with it. The wolf was just upsetting himself beyond reason, he didn't have to think about this right now. Sure, there could be fate and he may have defied it since high school, but bad things were not the only thing that ever came from it. Wasn't that enough to tide him over? Ty pressed closer to the wall as if it could further accommodate his form, leaning his head back and inhaling the silence. Two weeks ago he told Sela being in a home by himself was lonely. It still was. Sucking his lips inwards, he wet them with his tongue before biting one insecurely. Did Aubrey feel the same? That a house like this was lonely when you knew the person you loved wasn't apart of it? Not that Finn had truly abandoned his wife, he was just...dealing with this baby situation in his own way.

Still, he wondered if Bree knew the feeling. He was desperate to have anyone to identify with, to just get the initial hurricane of thoughts and emotions out of his mind so he could feel a little bit better. a little more like himself. Sela was in the other room without need of being monitored, far too much like her father who was sulking in a different room himself. Ty wondered if she would truly forget this with her young age. How did children who had separated parents adjust? Maybe she wouldn't be surprised to see him with another woman. Or to see Jason enter her mother's house. The wolf stiffened and dropped his face in his hands. The alcohol wasn't making this go away after all. Sela wanted 'mommy' and 'daddy' together, but it was bleak, unthinkable so soon after the most recent blow. Could he recover from this, let along them? He just wanted to hear that she understood what she just did, to let it pass her lips how much she had destroyed. Even from her own standpoint, didn't she know what effect her actions all had? Her excuses weren't owning up to it, you don't try to explain away why something happened that shouldn't have.

Dear God! He wanted so badly to beg, just to break down and ask why. Honestly, why. Just, why. At the same time he wanted to call her every name in the book, particularly a whore. So conflicted, and just hurting. The male bluenette opened his eyes, fingers of one hand tracing the porcelain of the bathtub. and Finn was such an idiot, clueless and- moronic! He had the typical fears any new father would, and was so wrapped up in himself that he was making Bree's pregnancy about himself! His family was intact, he made a marriage work for five years. What was the problem. He was nervous, not dying of some disease. Being nervous doesn't lead to you thinking youll suddenly, inexplicably, abandon you child and become like a pair of people you don't know. Selfish, And for Finn to tell him Ty couldn't understand because Sela was older. How did that make a difference? His problems were solved? Finn's infant could hate him at any time, but Ty was in the clear because Sela was a reasonable toddler? Tch. Finn better not keep up his bull for long, or he just plain wouldn't have Bree. For whatever reason he'd said it, Tyrese sincerely believed he should have ended up with Bree.

Someone like Bree. The wolf was getting confused, he was going through a hard time. Of course not Bree herself. Shaking it out, he jumped to hear the woman's voice who was just screwing up his thoughts. Had she herd him half sick in here? The author got up with the wall as support, padding out of the room and turning the corner to the stairs. "Yeah?" She didn't need to tell him to go home, or offer to listen to him. Although deep down he wouldn't mind the latter. Still Finn wasn't here and he was still angry, Ty was pushing it by sticking around. Navy blue orbs adjusted to the darkness ascending the staircase, stopping on the curled body perched on the topmost step. She smelled like soap, not overpoweringly so, had she even- Ty paused, frown becoming apparent. Was she okay? She wasn't even dry- bloody sh*t, she wasnt even dressed yet! The wold slapped one hand over his eyes, visibly wincing and spinning around so his back was to the railing. He paused, and exhaled slowly, feeling his face drain an unpleasant shade of red. "Everything alright?"

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

She had to admit, past feeling like an absolute child with drawing random figures into the carpet, it was comforting having Tyrese around for her. Even if it was only for either guilt ridden reasons or the fact that he didn't want to go home alone and ponder into the depths of his own thoughts. Then again, maybe he already had. And maybe, just maybe, that was why there was nothing but absolute silence save for the occasional lick of a water bowl coming from down the stairs. She shifted, tugging the towel a little more down her long legs, settling for mid thigh. If she pulled it down any further, there was the chance that her breast would escape the warm cushion and reveal itself to Tyrese. As much as she would love to suddenly become a nudist and not have to worry about decency, it was both inappropriate and not something she planned on doing anytime soon; not that she could count on. But now... She was a thousand miles from comfort. Perhaps it was the fact that Tyrese had been there for her so often that it sent the urge to just talk and sit next to him. To act like they had been there for each other for the past five years. She couldn't shake that constant questioning of 'what if' in her mind. Glancing towards the slight alcohol ridden bluenette lumbering towards her, she settled her elbows onto her knees and cupped her cheeks, rubbing her temple lightly with one hand while the other came down to settle against her forearm. Even his reaction had left a mental smile lingering on her mind's eye.

"I'm sorry..." She whispered, a tiny smile rising on the corners of her lips. Now if she could only get past her own embarrassment to ask the next question. "It's all right... I'm not going to think any less of you if you make eye contact with me, Tyrese..." A huff of a laugh to accompany the truth. He wasn't her husband, but at this point, she felt like Tyrese was her other pea in a pod. Both areas of their love life had been gone for two days now; both acting in a completely selfish manner that couldn't even justify the means. He had been there for her yesterday. He had taken her to the hospital and the pet store - had given his opinion on her wants and needs. Took her out for food without even asking if she was hungry. Maybe wolves could sense that kind of thing... But he had also been there the next morning. Of course, she hadn't the slightest clue up until he explained to her he would call Finn and exited the room if Finn had been informed of her demise - but even then, his sentiment for even staying there and making sure she was okay was phenomenal. It was exactly what she required in her state of mind. Pushing her tongue towards the roof of her mouth, she let the tip feeling along the slightly rough skin, tilting her head and eyes to the side to stare at the point that the stair railings met the floor boards on the upcoming steps. "Listen..." She began, her toes moving towards each other in a nervous shuffle.

"I left my bandages down in my purse by the door..." It was a bit of a start, but certainly not enough to make her feel at ease with what she was going to ask next. The movement required for her to be at least half naked with the wolf himself. It wasn't a betrayal to Finn - it was a desperate cry forth help in something she legitimately couldn't do herself. "The brown one I was carrying around with us yesterday..." Her fingertips felt along the edges of her curls caressing her ear, tucking them back in the slightest and ignoring the droplets of water slicking off of them. "Can you grab the entire purse and bring it up here for me...? Since Finn isn't here, I kind of need your help in putting them on." Her lips remained parted, directing herself back towards Tyrese. Hopefully he would understand it wasn't just choice of being undressed around him - it was what the situation called for. And unless he wanted to send a two year old to do the task of a worker that required an operate understanding, he was the best guest. That, or, they could sit around and wait until Finn returned; which wasn't much of an option. She didn't know when he would be home. She had no means of communicating to him. If Tyrese hadn't gotten a hold of him by now, then there was nothing she could do about that. They didn't have a house phone like a family from an old movie - cells were all they needed.

"If you're not comfortable, it's all right..." She reassured him, sliding her hand up and down the smooth skin of her arm. "It's kind of difficult for me to wrap around my back side without having to stop midway and try to breathe." If an explanation would help, then she'd continue on her thought process until he agreed or asked her to stop. But for now, she could only twiddle her hair and hope that he would help her along. She could still hear small droplets of water hitting both the carpet behind her and the skin on her thighs and knees. It was cold, icy even. But at this rate, she was thankful enough that she could feel it, along with the child she bore in her womb.

Sela's Outfit: Raaaaaaawr!

Sela lay on the floor, finally shifted back. Tears dripped down her sleeping face as she whimpered and rolled around on the floor. She felt so uncomfortable but she couldn't open her eyes. She was completely out cold. Shifting, it always took so much out of her tiny body. It hurt and burned every time it happened and she just became so exhausted that once she returned to normal, she couldn't keep her eyes open. It scared her really. The only thing she ever remembered was the awful sick feeling she had before things went black. Did the same thing ever happen to her daddy when he shifted? He had the same gift as her so it was only a logical assumption that he didn't remember after shifting back. "Daddy..." she mumbled as she continued to toss and turn on the floor, knocking over the bowl of water.

Tyrese worried he might be sweating beneath his collar. This looked bad. No, he didn't think his best friend's wife was coming on to him, even yet being unknowing of what she wanted. He already figured she was in need of assistance, but this was still beyond any of his previous experiences. Anyone could look at this situation and assume the worst, A brunette adorned in nothing but a towel was beckoning him to come up the stairs. He was still antisocial and very awkward despite having outgrown his teenage self, he had half a mind to bolt with his daughter so this incident didn't come back to Finn. Not that it could, there was no one here but the two of them. But was he over reacting? He recalled feeling this bad when he accidentally saw Lillian half naked, just after their blind date on the beach. He'd walked back to his room like a half rusted robot and still felt awkward when he went back less than half an hour later. The difference here? This woman was married. was that the only problem? Heck, he didn't know. Maybe?

Ty lifted his head when Bree made a jab as his reaction, his hand lingering midway before dropping completely. His back remained turned, however. "That's alright." There was a call for decency and respect in a situation like this, just because she approached him like she had didn't mean he should be gazing upon her in anyway."You know what this calls for? Bill Paul's Me and Mrs. Jones." He joked back, chuckling lowly to himself. Come Go With Me Was the song he thought of next, and he laughed a bit more, although staying respectfully reserved. Teddy Pendergrass, a real classic choice. However, his first suggestion was the more suiting and comical play in. "We got a thing going on~" Heh. How would Finn feel, walking in with that kind of music on? JUst before now, in the bathroom, it was a damn good chance to have "Just my imagination" by the Temptations playing. He could go on, but that was the opposite of him saying this situation was bad.

All she needed was help changing her bandages, that should only take five minutes at most. "Sure, it doesn't seem like i have a choice if no one else can help you." He didn't need her to reason with him any further, this was a courtesy thing and he couldn't just leave her how she was. Things wouldn't be this was had things not gone so far out of hand. The wolf padded into the living room, first seeing that Sela was back to normal and fittingly trying to sleep. Ty frowned, bending down and moving her to the couch. He pulled back her hood and flipped the fleece blanket from the back of her couch onto her body. He then found the female's purse, eyeing it with pursed lips. It looked like a carry on you'd take to the airport! He was glad he needed nothing more than the wallet in his back pocket. Sighing quietly, he grabbed the bag and walked back to the stairs, holding it like a football. No way he was carrying it on his shoulder of the crook of his arm by the strap. Pausing at the foot of the stairs, he looked from it to Bree before thinning his lips and taking it up to her.

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

Watching him disarm his hand shield was somewhat a comfort to her. She felt that it was a sense of trust she could place in Tyrese. That same trust you would place into a doctor for giving an exam on any genitalia. That being said, she still was wearing underwear, even if the towel didn't do a good job of showing that. Then again, that had to be a good sign that it didn't. She gingerly touched the edge of the towel, once again pulling it down towards the middle of her thigh, the other hand clenched tight on the opposite end to keep it from slipping down her chest. Her smooth, velvet like skin came together as her knees collided gently, feet still twiddling together in anxiety; more so for the reason that she may have to find a way to do this herself. Her hair was beginning to curl in its natural way, angel-like waves bouncing upwards against her shoulders. But just as she was about to give up on the idea, the next line out of his mouth had brought her back to a standstill; a laugh escaping her lips after several moments of silence. Quickly she attempted to stifle it, settling for a husky giggle instead. "Don't build your hopes up too high. I've got my own obligations~." She murmured in a teasing tone. Although some part of her couldn't help but relay the memories on the beach not an hour or two ago. I should have been with a woman like you. Did he really think so fondly of her? It was flattering. But before she could stop herself, the pink hue of a blush had already risen to her cheeks - staining them in a red tint.

Her purple eyes glittered with appreciation, lighting up within seconds of his reply. Glancing at him descending the stairs, she began to stand, just barely able to get a few inches off the ground before having to ease herself back on her rump again. She extended her toes out towards the next two steps, hoping to gain a bit of energy into her body, but at this point, it was almost useless. Perhaps it'd be a better idea to wait until he came back so he could help her up. This would be one difficult next four weeks. Knowing Finn, he more than likely wouldn't let her get up from the bed or couch until he got home so she would have ease of access towards the kitchen and bathroom. She sighed lightly, propping her elbow up on her knee once she brought them back to her chest. She relaxed her chin into the crevice of her palm, closing her eyes for a few moments. It wasn't until she heard his heavy footsteps transfer from the wood of the living room to the carpet of the stairs. Watching his navy eyes glance up at her, she lifted her head from her hand, settling her arm outwards so it protruded away from her knee. She flashed a smile to him, letting it remain sweet and appreciated his entire stroll up, head following along with his movement.

Her left arm reached upwards, hand extending out to signify she needed his help once again. The other hand still managed to cling tight to the wool of the towel, her body drying on its own underneath. By now, there were only faint droplets against her upper body, the air around the house drying out her arms and legs. "Here... We'll go to the bedroom." Her voice was a faint whisper. She didn't need Sela following them up and relaying to her mother that she had seen "daddy with another naked woman". That would be a story to tell while Lillian would break her other rib and threaten another unborn child's life. She mentally rolled her eyes, huffing out an exhale meant to be in anger and frustration. It shouldn't take too long for them to do this, unless Tyrese backed out and felt too awkward. And it wasn't like he would be staring at her face to chest. She would have her back facing towards him and her chest facing the opposite, so all he would manage to see is the back of her head. Mostly.

Oh, the bedroom! That...well, he couldn't refuse now. But why not the bathroom? Whatever, as long as it took strain off of her. He wasn't sure if her hand was extended to take her purse as well, but the wolf kept the bag for now as he helped the water elemental to her feet. He took her hand and shifted his weight back, balancing it out with her own in a swift motion. Hopefully it wasn't so fast that she would be in pain. Shuffling to stand on his own while she did the same, he let her go. She was far colder than the average person he'd ever come in physical contact with. It wasn't just the heat escaping the heat due to the water drying on her skin. She was just cold, as naturally as it was for him to be cold. Or so he suspected, to explain the shiver that went down his spine. Nodding, he turned to peer down the hallway. He'd never been inside Finn and Bree's bedroom, it was personal to go into anyone's bedroom without prior permission. It wasn't the high school or collage dorms anymore. He was a wolf, his bed room especially was his den. Too many scents in there tend to upset him subconsciously and in his sleep even. He had that problem all the time in high school from Lillian making herself comfortable in her sheets. same in college with that annoying onyx haired cocky b*****d! He'd dated Alex because he reminded him of Lillian in a way. Something subtle, probably the confidence and the way they seemed to put themselves right where they wanted to be in life.

Meanwhile, Ty held the purse, his gaze falling to the carpet as it gave a dull plush squish like noise, he could hear it more clearly that Bree could. same as with her occasionally haggard breathing because of her rib. Once it happened, he would hear the turning of the bed room door in it's hinges too. For that time the wolf was quiet, choosing to follow Bree to the room. Their scent was spread across the house, but the scent of the bath was new and an obvious indicator. Still, knowing where the room was for any reason might look weird, so he followed the female there and stopped just within the doorway. Finn hadn't had much say when it came to decorating the house, did he. It wasn't even a question. The wolf snorted, walking around Bree and to the bed to drop the purse there. It hardly made a sound as it flopped unto the mattress. It would be nice if he could say anything at all right now, but he had nothing. He was thinking of his own home, his bedroom. It was such an intimate space, a place where he was at the most comfort as possible. He almost missed it, except it was both empty and reminiscent of being with. Well, need he mention the name anymore. That next morning after the ball, he thought something significant had taken place there. He thought.

Crestfallen again, he came to in order to hear any instructions from Aubrey. He surely didn't know what to do, he never covered this in the boy scouts. All he knew was basic first aid and cpr, both now rusted in memory. So Aubrey would have to fill him in, the doctor would have showed her what she was supposed to do before she left the hospital. How where they going to do this anyway? Ty wasn't jumping at the chance to see the female naked, he felt the slightest bit of shame since she was taken by someone he valued more highly than any other. It partly felt wrong, and partly felt like a duty. one of a relative's connection, with a confusing mix of...he didn't quite have the word. Desire for both revenge and comfort, stemmed from betrayal. It wasn't a good state of mind to be in, not that he couldn't and wouldn't control himself. There was 0 chance he'd throw himself at someone because of how he felt, because he wanted to spite Lillian. Especially if the person was a dear friend married to a man who may as well be his sibling, Stupid, stupid brain. Just stop thinking!

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

She gripped his hand, trying to keep the opposite on the wool surrounding her top naked body. It didn't take long for him to jerk her upwards. "G-Gentle... Gentle..." She began, steadying herself onto her feet. Her free hand remained in his for an extra moment, trying to get over both the small head rush she felt from the sudden standing point as well as lean onto him so she could gain her balance. If he didn't feel uncomfortable before, she was sure his best friend's naked wife leaning on him would probably do the trick. Pulling away from him and slowly releasing his hand, she traced her fingertips along the hallway's walls, stumbling back towards her bedroom where she had taken a bath in the master bathroom. Her feet found the dark wood of the room, hands gently pushing against the wood of the door. It was silent to her ears, but she didn't waste another awkward moment stepping into the room; tossing yet another firm glance towards the messy bed as Finn had left it. It was obvious where he had laid down that morning. Which way he had tossed the blanket out of the way to answer Tyrese's call and come to the hospital. Unless he was already at work... She sighed. If he was awake when Tyrese had called him, did he even bother to wonder where she was? She pondered, her heart sinking into her stomach. Did he just assume she had a late night and went to work in the early morning? She reached up to press her hand against her forehead, shaking her curls back and forth enough to let a few splashes of water drip down to her back.

She fell back to the man standing in the room with her, closing the distance and taking the purse off the bed, sifting through it with one hand to find her bandages. They were rough and scratchy, but not enough to make it painful when she put them on. She really didn't want Tyrese to see the bruise. She didn't want to remind him of yesterday's events. But now, she was out of options. She was going to go through with this... And with her new found trust in Tyrese, she strangely didn't have much of a problem with it. She glanced past him, gazing towards the open curtains against the window of the furthest wall from them. If her assumptions were correct, Finn hadn't even bothered to close them or open them like she did every night and morning. She didn't want some creep peeking in on them at any time of the night. Habitually, she stepped across the room, past him to grab one side of the beige curtain to pull it in before turning and finishing the other. Whatever the case, she would close them now to block out the pitch black darkness just barely lit by the full moon. "So this is the best way I see this happening." She made her way back towards him, stepping onto the rug as quickly as she could. The wood was just much too cold for her feet to handle right now. "We can either sit on the floor or the bed and I'll have my back facing towards you..." She began thoughtfully, eyes already analyzing over the situation. If she sat on one end while he sat on the other, either cross legged or legs out - whichever was more comfortable for him -, then she could easily sit the opposite way so he wouldn't have to peer at her chest with a flushed face. He had already shown his embarrassment when she sat at the top of the stairs, and that was with the towel surrounding her chest.

Stopping in her thoughts, she looked at him again, readjusting the towel upwards a bit. "Then you can sit behind me. I'll start the bandages from the front so the next time I take them off, I won't have to reach behind me to get it. Every time I'm done wrapping my front end, I'll pass the bandage roll back to you, you'll wrap my back end, and then pass it back to me." She waved the roll in her hand, lolling it left and right within her grip. "Etcetera, etcetera, until I'm completely bandaged up." Her eyes met his face in a thoughtful look, allowing another smile to shine at him. "Okay? Then we can go downstairs and I'll eat. Maybe we can watch a movie or something... I dunno. Unless you want to sleep, then the couch is all yours." She shrugged lightly, pursing her lips out a bit childishly. Now it was just seeing if she could sit here topless with her husband's best friend. Well. This would be a... Weird challenge. "I'd just rather you and Sela have a place to stay instead of waiting for Finn to get back from..." She sneered slightly. "Wherever he is right now. I know you're a big bad wolf, but it's freezing and she doesn't need a cold. Neither do you." Of course she cared about Tyrese! Sela was a given - she was a kid. But even when she believed Tyrese disliked her, she still cared for him. If she didn't, Jacob would have been named her baby's Godfather.

Tyrese crossed his arms behind his back, trying not to snoop around nor look at Aubrey as she closed the curtains. He moved so she could get to her purse, pondering at the sight of the disheveled bed and the way Bree seemed concerned about it. Her eyes had landed there before she tostled her head and curls. 'He did sound panicked when i called him, he was immediately demanding to know what happened to you and where you were." Just so she would know, her husband didn't completely blow her off. It was misconstrued because he didn't call and let Finn know until the next morning. There was no excuse between being worried for Bree and not wanting to tell Finn right away. Sighing quietly, he directed his gaze as his shoes while listening, and only listening while he nodded and made a shallow imprint on the carpet with his foot. He didn't want to climb onto their bed, although it was sure to be the more comfortable option for Bree. It wasn't like Finn would be able to smell his scent anyway. He was a meta human with no enhanced senses like Ty's. "I don't know, it's your bed so i guess sit on it.' and he said it in a way he hoped didn't sound weird.

Also, she suggested something he could manage. He could stay behind her and get all of this done; she'd wrap the front end and he'd wrap the back. That was a relief, there was already enough to explain to Finn today. Going to the side of the bed he was closest to, he pushed his knees into the comforter, visibly uncomfortable as he sat on the back of his legs. Finn wouldn't know he was here, but this was still weird to him. He waited on Bree, blinking dully before holding his hand palm up and clenching his hand repeatedly in a motion for the gauze wrap. She had to deal with her towl, if she couldn't wear a bra while they did it. He wasn't sure how high or low the bandages had to go. He's pass it to her from her side, so he wouldn't rise toughing her. The faster the better, so he blinked up at her as he waited. He only looked tired, exhausted, but her suggestion to sleep was unwelcome. He didn't want to stick around waiting for Finn, nevertheless, Bree had a point concerning Sela. "She's already asleep, I don't want to risk moving her again." Because who wanted a cranky toddler? Unless Finn was willing to drive him, then he was stuck.

( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )

Curling her toes thoughtfully against the rug, she directed her gaze towards her feet, curls lightly dripping onto the brown towel she was holding. The droplets left dark spots into the towel, dampening it more than it should have been. There was a slight exhale of a giggle in her nose, curiously looking back up to Tyrese with a fond look. She appreciated the comment. He would never realize how much that truly meant to her. Even if all she did was give a tiny smile in response to it. To know that Finn came bolting to the hospital to rescue her... Now if only he hadn't been such a complete and utter d**k when he got there. She knew he worried about her. She knew he would come storming in to ask what happened. But she didn't expect him to talk down to her like a scolded child. She wasn't owned. She wasn't his dog running off into the wilderness to explore. She was a human being and deserved to stand up for what she thought was morally right. Silence protruding from her, she walked to the opposite side of the bed from where he had gotten on. One knee hitched up at a time, hand clambering and gripping the sheets to finish pulling herself upwards before she sat up on her knees, an inch or so taller than Tyrese. Not by much, of course.

She spun herself to sit on her own knees, facing away from him. The closer it got to the time, the more her heartbeat sped up with nervousness. It felt... Weird to be partially naked with another man that wasn't her husband. She sighed... Finn. Grazing her tongue against the roof of her mouth, she let go of the towel, letting it fall to her waist. Luckily for him, she had been thoughtful enough to at least put a pair of underwear on. The towel was warm against her thighs, warming them up almost instantly. Her breasts, though facing the other way, remained perked and steady. If anything, the most he may be able to see - at least she assumed - would be the edge of her bruise from the side. She was reluctant to show him that... But maybe it was better that he saw. Even if it stung, at least he would know exactly what happened to her physically, since her baby was okay. There wouldn't be much to say unless she instigated some sort of conversation. And even then, he might not be the person to want to vent to someone, but she could always offer. At least it might distract him from the sadness that could possibly be overwhelming his being. "You're a good father Tyrese..." She murmured, a little quieter now. Her calves tucked beneath her, toes just peeking out and pushed down into the white underside of the comforter underneath her. Her eyes, however, remained on the now closed curtains on the other side of the wall.

Dropping her arm to her side, she held out her fingertips to beckon for the edge of the bandages she needed, curling them inwards ever so slightly. "And I'm sorry... I'm sorry that all of this is happening to you." She turned her head just a little, enough for him to see the side of her face, even if her eyes didn't quite look at him. Instead, they scanned the pattern on the blanket, black and white designs of block-like elements. "You don't deserve this." She whispered, before turning her head away, curls wavering just onto the top of her spine.

Tyrese saw Bree mounting the bed, gaze quickly and shyly faltering to his working hands as he picked at the first roll to unravel it. He glanced at her again when she began to turn away from him, getting several inches of the bandage crumpled into his hand. Waiting until she settled into place, he let his navy orbs rise from his lap and up her spine. His stare then drifted past her to the right wall, falling back to her twitching fingers as he inched closer to better reach the band-aids as they were moved around. Because she motioned, he handed her the unraveled end and let the bundle in his remaining hand freely spin loose. Her towel only peeked at the elastic of her skivvies, the rest of her body exposed. Her bruise stretched around her body like an oil spill across her skin, and although he'd seen it during her ultrasound, he winced to see it now. Oh Lillian, what had gotten into you? He sighed audibly, adjusting a bit more and taking the coil as Bree passed it along. He pulled it until it was snug, listening for a warning from the brunette in case she should warn him he was overdoing it. Since this was mostly awkward, he expected nothing but silence. However, she spoke, saying something that was an instant pang to his heart. Just as quickly, a lump formed and he forced it down with some effort. "I guess." He was proud of himself as a father to have stepped forward today, he was just upset over why he had to. Bree said it herself, it wasn't something bestowed on him by karma. He avoided her sight, even though it wasn't expressly focused on him. He looked the opposite way to wince the coil was coming. Just the mention bringing the remembrance forth in his mind was making him chock up once more. "Yeah well..." He shrugged, having nothing to elaborate on. He couldn't say there was nothing to be done about it. 'I didn't know it would be a mistake, but I also thought it would all be like high school again."

She gripped onto the edge of the bandages, wrapping them around just under the opposite breast of where the bruise lay. If she needed to rearrange them, she didn't want to have to constantly brush against the bruise. Her fingertips held it in place, relaying to Tyrese that he could begin moving as she reached around her other side, taking the ball from him and firmly tightening it around her chest. Dear God that hurt. Her teeth grit and her jaw clenched, making it a little less than obvious that this was painful. It wasn't like it wasn't going to hurt. It had to be assumed - there was that much. And after this, she could sit on the couch and watch a movie with Tyrese until he fell asleep. Then again, he might wait for her to fall asleep before he did himself. The thought was slightly amusing. She would have even smiled if the situation wasn't so depressing in itself. Each time he gave her the bandages, she'd complete another line. They were almost done now, which was nice. It hadn't taken nearly as long as she thought it would - but then again, he had a naturally knack for this. She only hoped Finn could do the same without leaving them too loose or too tight. She had to breathe after all.

"I wouldn't call it a mistake... You didn't know something like this would happen." She sighed. "Sometimes it's hard to see past that rose colored tint you want to put on everything around you... Just so it feels like someone is there with you, even if they're not." She glanced to the side where Finn had been that morning. Her nostrils flared and once the last part of the bandages were wrapped around her breast, she mustered her strength to tear it, squeezing her eyes shut full of new found tears of pain once it came apart. God that hurt more than it should have. She didn't realize just how much muscle came from different parts of her body. Everything had a fine line on it... But now... It all seemed like a screwed up diagram of muscles stretching into other muscles. Turning her gaze away from the gauze as she tucked it underneath her left breast, she turned to Tyrese with a small smile on her lips. "See?" The bandaging itself had formed a sort of mid-rift shirt, ranging from the tops of her breasts towards an inch or two below them. It flattened it out, even if the curvature of her chest was still faintly there. Only the edges of the bruise peeked out from each side. And although their handiwork wasn't as great as a doctor's... She'd like to think they still did pretty well. Her eyes leaned up to meet Tyrese's in a wave of thanks. "Thank you..." She paused, pressing her hands into the bedding before sitting all the way up on her knees, still several inches below him. "So what do you say? Want to go eat something and watch a movie?" Her purple eyes glittered up at him.

It was easier after the first few times, each round covering several mosre inches of skin. The more of her that was covered, the more comfortable he felt. Good, he felt more sane when he realized he could still reach out and help someone despite what he was going through himself. It wasn't even because he felt guilty, but because Bree trusted him enough to ask and every effort was appreciated. He sighed to himself, happy to know he was doing so. For now it meant he was holding on and the break down was afar off. Inevitable, but not anytime soon. He didn't need to be that vulnerable, didn't want to be. He felt like everything inside would gut itself out the moment he did and he would be an empty shell. He was so conflicted with emotions and thoughts all over the place. Like now: he wished Bree told him it wouldn't have hurt to slow down, rather than saying his intentions were innocent. His gaze became watered over, he handed the last wrap to her and dropped his hands in his lap, shifting his body backwards so he fell to siting on his rear, He'd been no better than Sela, blindly chasing after an ideal and trying to jump to the happy ending before it was really there. With a small sniffle, he pushed his hear back and turned so his feet hung over the bed. He didn't see Bree when she turned around, twisting at the waist to look at her when she prompted him to do so. He paused, then nodded slowly. Yeah, it worked out alright, It was just good the baby was unharmed. Ty's lips parted, wanting to express his relief and genuine happiness when he saw the ultra sound. He was glad nothing happened to that baby, that she wasn't hit with that devastation. The thought of the look on her face, it mingled in to the already nauseated feeling in his stomach. Blinking rapidly, he looked down again, his words retracted and his mouth shut. The wolf then inhaled, taking it as much as his chest would allow. Then he held it, peering up and Bree before leaning forward and- He stopped less than an inch away from her lips, his face draining as his eyes studied her mouth, then fell to the blankets. Instead, before she could react, he kissed near to her lips. Just to the corner. Anything else would have been wrong. Well, even that was wrong but- But what? He didn't know, he just wanted...He wanted someone who would give back everything he gave! For once he wanted to feel loved! He craved the things Bree gave her husband, things Finn took for granted. But not Bree herself, she was forbidden fruit. Tyrese leaned back, exhaling his held breath as shame riddled his face. That just now...He wanted, if he could take from Finn. But he also knew better, and knew he didn't really want that. Did he? He was so confused, he couldn't even read the emotions he was feeling right now.
