The Clearing

[Angel_Fantasy]

Twisting and turning in her sleep, Star woke up in a frenzy multiple times, as she continually tried to sleep again. Among the quiet calm of the clearing, the tip of her ear twitched as the soft crunching of melting snow was heard nearby. Stretching her neck forward a bit, and away from herself, she recognized a familar scent. Her head slowly raised as the the wolf sat down next to her. With a happy whine and a thrilled wag of her tail, Star nuzzled her friend's neck before putting her head on Kita's forepaws and snuggling close to her when her friend laid her head across the back of her neck. With a satisfied and contented grumble, which sounded almost like a purr, she was finally able to fall into a deep, comfortable, and well needed sleep, without a word.  

[Kita Rottura]

Kita gave off an unexpected yawn in return of the nuzzle. Her tail thumped a few times against the ground, also ablaze to have come across her missing friend. Pricking her ears forward as Star snuggled close to her, Kita grew tranquil. As her eyes began to grow burdensome to the point where she could barely keep them open, the she-wolf rested her head over Star's neck again, burying her nose into the cushioned fluff to keep warm. As minutes passed, the steady beat of her heart grew slower and slower. Until the she-wolf was in an agile sleep, did her pulse incease in speed. Her body twitched as if she was running. They were insignificant movements at first, but as the night grew, so did the spazms. Finally after hours of her nightmare, Kita's eyes shot open. Her lungs were at a rapid, but constant speed as her raspy breaths filled the air. With sunken black eyes, she wearily sat up, looking into the river. For a short while, the water appeared frozen. As her eyes slowly began to focus, the river before her had dissolved back to liquid. Leaning forward, Kita took a long drink. Her breaths decreased greatly in speed after several minutes. Lying on her side in the snow, the fae stared off at the sky, still a bit shocked from her horrid dream.

 

[Slighter]

Slighter woke up near the clearing one afternoon and looked around has he yawned, Alittle while after he got up and streched and started to walked towards then into the clearing has he then sat down on a piece of ice covered in snow but he hadden noticed yet and he then looked around and sniffed the air has he then walked slowly to a small stream and found a spot not completly frozen over yet and he started to lap up the water, then alittle while later he walked abck over to his spot and sat down looking at his surroundings, feeling a light breeze blow by him.  

[Aubrianna]

aubrianna trotted through th forest and came upon the clearing she smelt slighter and stopped and smiled she looked back at the pups who were following her she whispered to jaden and he bagan to crawl forward on his stomach his father didnt notie him and he set fire to the tip of his tail and ran back noisely to his mothershe laughed slightly  

[Slighter]

Slighter felt his tail on fire and smilled knowing they where around. So he put his tail in the snow and laughed has he turned around and looked at the walking slowly towards them but still not noticing the snow underneath him he slipped and fell on his jaw making a wierd cracking sound, But he got back up and smilled has he opened up his mouth and closed it agin trying to straighted it back into palce. "Hello." he said to them has he sat back down smilling.  

[Aubrianna]

"Hello slighter I have missed you"aubrianna said as she walked towards slighter"daddy!"the three pups yelped and tackled him they had grown alot bigger and where a little larger than half of their father
Jaden glinted bright red in the sun. he was busy setting fire to little plants
"guess what slighter"  

[Slighter]

Slighter smilled and walked closed to her with and smilled has the pups where still pouncing him him and he then nudged her "What?" he said woundering what she wated to say. Hr then sat next to her and playfully leaned on her side.  

[Aubrianna]

sh e licked his muzzled and looked at him lovingly"we found out what larka and artemises powers are...i bet you can guess hwat they are?  

[Slighter]

He shook his head. "Nope i can't gusses, But i would have to say that non of them are like me....Hopefuly...." He said with and forced smilled on still trying to straightend on his jaw. "So how have you been?" He asked her has he layed down looking over at the pups.  

[Aubrianna]

"I have been tired looking after the pups but other wise I have been fine How have you been?"she looked over at larka and smiled show your father your powers Dear." Larka lloked over and smiled then she and she closed her eyes and dissapeared then appearing a few feet away, she laughed excitedly the stared at her father and a her voice was heard in his mind"hello daddy!"
"shes telepathic and can teleport herself and other"  

[Slighter]

"Hello." he said back to her has he nudged her playfully and abit suprise she could teleport he looked up at her since he was laying down and smilled. "I see that..." He said has he then looked at artemis" What can he do?" He asked her.  

[Aubrianna]

artemis looked up knowing they were talking about him he stood up and the hair on the back of his neck stood up as a strong wind picked up and clouds covered the skies"I can controll the weather dad!"aubrianna smiled  

[Slighter]

Slighter smilled. "Well thats good." He smilled and looked at all of them.  

[Kita Rottura]

Kita remained awake until the sun began to peek over the mountains off in the distance. She sat up on her haunches, looking around for a moment. Her sweat filled fur gave her appearance a sense of sloppiness. Shaking her head lightly as she stood up, she slowly turned to Star. Kita nuzzled her friend on the flank, then gently licked her muzzle. She looked down at her with a heartsick glint in her eye, then indistinctinly said to herself,
We'll meet again soon... Stay safe...
Kita turned and slowly paced forward, her tail low indicating her discouraged spirit.

 

[DeadlyThorn]

Optics of heavenly gold gazed about the clearing with little intrest. Pelt of ebony black seemed a deep blue among the sun's life giveing rays. Large fem lay at rest on her belly, forepaws crossed in anoble manner as darkened crown lay top them. It was nothing new to her, the sighes of a lovely morn or noon so being at rest was nearly as much fun as being at play. Her age showed she had not played in many a moon yet if any one had to ask they would see she never played. Auds lay guled to her crown as she watched all the things around her.
