He held her hand and smiled. "I was never really dead. None of us were. We were just waiting... Waiting for you. It doesn't matter to me whether I live or die... As long as you are made happy." He knelt on one knee, his head bowed. "Mordecai still seeks your hand, after all these years. I know not if your memories have returned, or if you still seek his attention, but I love you, and shall leave you to decide your own fate."

"The only person I want to hold my hand is you, Tobius." She gently caressed his cheek with her other hand.

He smiled. "Then, I suppose it is my duty to ask." He went down onto one knee, holding out a ring of pure diamond. "Princess Lilly, Daughter of Roland, Son of Thrain, will you do me the great honour of being my beloved wife?"

She gasped, "yes, of course I will!!" She threw her arms around him and hugged him tight. She giggled, "please, you know I don't like you calling me Princess. Just Lilly." She hugged him again.

"I won't have to anymore. Now, it's either 'Lilly' or 'my Queen'. Shall we go talk to the Archdeacon and make the arrangements?"

"Just Lilly, Tobius. " She smiled, and was about to walk out the door when she stopped in her tracks. Her breathing became shallow, she coughed, and fell to the floor. Blood trickled out ofd the corner of her mouth as she caughed. Hot sweat ran down her face...

He rushed to her side immediately, yelling at the top of his lungs. "QUICKLY! SOMEBODY FETCH THE CASTLE DOCTOR!!!"

Jessamine ran into the room, "whats going on??" She saw Lilly, "oh, Shao!!!!" She knelt beside her, and put her hand where Lilly's heart was. And muttered a chant. She turned to Tobius, "she'll be fine. The time frame is still trying to conect again. Its lucky you where here, " She winked and stood and Galbatorix charged in.

"Whats going on? whats wrong with Lilly???" And he went on, and on.

"Galbatorix, calm down, she's fine."

he sighe din releaf. "Good. "

He held her up in his arms, his eyes reflecting genuine concern. "Are you alright?"

She gently caressed his hand and smiled."y.......Yeah. I'm fine."

He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "I was so worried! Jessamine? Diagnosis?"

"She shouldn't move around to much. And she needs to stay away from salt."

She gently kissed his cheek. "I'm fine."

"Salt? Why salt?"  

[Kechero-TheForsakenRose]

"The chemicals in it would endanger her and melt away her fragile lungs. They arn't completely strong again, yet. She'll need to recover for a while."

(How the hell would salt melt your lungs? It's not entirely possible unless she's undead! Which, I can only assume, she isn't.)

"Her lungs? How did those get injured?"
