Fire one of the crappier types really. ExtremeSpeed is really the only thing that makes him good other than looks.

Hey! Don't talk about Arcanine like that!

P.S. I'm not gonna fight back about how Arcanine is good and all that because I'm not so good with those stuff...

Arcanine is pretty much the only non OU pokemon I'll use at all... although I'm considering making an epic quest to get a legit bibarel with a good nature, and use him competitively.

Arcanine is actually pretty good, IMO he should be OU, but his extremely limited moveset kind of makes him predictable. Flash Fire ability also lets him switch into any fire move and will o wisp, and gain power from it. He's sturdier than Infernape... and the fact that he can do an electric attack is very helpful.

my arcanine rocks too cool

Flash fire only raises fire moves, and most of the time, the fire move will be from another poke, so the boost is almost useless most of the time, unless you manage to kill the other guy AND they don't have something that resists fire or that can kill him before they kill arcanine. Thunder fang has extremely little power and is really only useful for gyarados. Infernape has a powerful STAB move that somewhat supports his fire part at least.

Stopped by DD T-Tar.

I betaa DDing T tar with arcanine (olny used it because it was all I had left.) but why does everyone bother saying what stops a certin pokemon?? Every pokemon has another kind of pokemon that easily stops it. Blissey has pysichal attakers, tyranitar has lucario things like that, etc. No pokemon has no weaknesses, excluding spiritomb and sableye

You said it was super deadly, but it is stopped by a very common poke, therefore it isn't really that deadly.

Also, any sort of tar stops it really unless it isn't carrying a rock move or earthquake.
